~*Liana's POV*~

Liana woke up to Curiosity licking her face. She playfully pushed him, and he licked her hand. She got up from the nest she was in. Tye and Telepathy had put together a nest made up of a series of soft things: feathers, fresh moss, soft leaves, and other stuff they had found. It was pretty comfortable. She looked towards the entryway, and saw Tye standing there.

"I was just about to come wake you up," Tye said, his eyes mischievous.

"What time is it?" Liana asked, forgetting that she had a watch.

"The sun is rising."

Liana yawned and stood up, Curiosity mimicking her. They followed Tye back to the main cave, where the other Eeveelutions were waiting. Tye sat in an empty space next to Telepathy. Liana and Curiosity found a spot next to Dew and Thunder.

"Okay, now that we're all rested, we can tell you our story," Tye announced. "I'll start."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"It all started when we hatched from our eggs. We were all born in the same day, but in different locations."

"We had all been born able to speak the human language. Because of this, Arceus tracked us down, one by one."

"Tye was found first, because of his miss-coloration. Eventually, we were all tracked down and taken away from our trainers.

"By the time we were taken, we had evolved into what we are now. Arceus told us that we were special."

"He told us that we would be put in unbreakable pokéballs and stored in a place where we could be used later."

"The idea scared us, so we ran away. It was hard considering the fact that we were in the air, but that didn't stop us."

"Telepathy lowered us to the ground using Teleport. From there, we ran. Arceus had told us running was not an option, but we gave it a shot."

"~We found this place, and have been together ever since.~"

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Eeveelutions went silent, letting Liana take a moment to proccess what they had just told her. She looked down at Curiosity, who was struck with silence.

"That's our story," Telepathy broke the silence.

"That's why you were afraid Arceus sent me to get you?" Liana asked herself, understanding.

Telepathy dipped his head and closed his eyes, "Do not remind Arceus that we are here."

"I won't," she promised, then thought of something else. "Hey, can I stay with you guys for a while?"

Telepathy seemed a little shocked, but barely showed it.

"Sure, but why?" Tye answered her.

"I just want to get to know you guys better, you seem interesting."

Tye looked at the others, who all nodded their heads. He nodded to her, then walked off into one of the many tunnels. Telepathy followed close behind him, leaving Liana, Curiosity, and the other Eeveelutions alone. Thunder and Burn started wrestling each other, leaving Lake to watch them with amusment. Dew and Frost nuzzled each other before walking off down another tunnel. Liana sighed, looking down at Curiosity. The little fire type was sniffing at a nearby shadow, which had a Pokémon coming out of it.

"Darkrai?" Liana called, a little confused. "Why are you here?"

Arceus said you were spending the night out, but he never said where. I came to find you.

"Awww, do you care about me?" She teased.

W-What? No! I just feel like it isn't safe so long as Devin is around.

She frowned. Why does Darkrai distrust her brother so much.

"Well, I'm fine..." Liana pouted.

Tsk.

Darkrai sank back into the shadow he came out of, leaving Curiosity and Liana to look at each other. She picked him up.

"Oh Curiosity, what am I gonna do..."

~*Tye-Die's POV*~

Liana seemed interesting. Her Fennekin sure was; most starters don't have attitudes like that. He heard Telepathy's quiet pawsteps behind him. He turned around to look at the psychic type.

"You go get to know Liana, I'll be there in a minute," Tye said, pointing towards the tunnel entrance with one of his ribbons.

Telepathy looked like he was about to fight, but just blinked and dipped his head. He left without any words. Tye sighed, looking around the dimly lit cave. His room had things he liked, things that reminded him of his old trainer. He touched a red gem that was lying to the side, pushing it around a little. He turned around to be met by another trainer. It wasn't Liana, he could tell; this trainer had male features and different clothing. Tye opened his mouth to let out a cry, but was cut short when a purple pokéball was thrown at him. A white flash engulfed him, and everything went black.
