~*Telepathy's POV*~
Telepathy looked up at the sky, staring at nothing in particular. He had to get this right, or he could potentially start falling to his death. He closed his eyes, the gem on his forhead starting to glow. He used Teleport, safely getting to his destination. He opened his eyes and looked around, taking in the unpleasant sight of Arceus' home. To his luck, the powerful legendary wasn't home.
"Darkrai?" Telepathy called out to a nearby shadow.
The shadow Telepathy had talked to started to ripple, like water when something touched it. Darkrai rose out of the shadow, his blue eyes piercing. Telepathy took a step back, unsure of doing what he wanted to do now.
I haven't seen your face for a while.
Telepathy slowly became less cautious, remembering what Darkrai was like.
"I need your help, Darkrai," he told him.
With? I don't exactly just help people if it's not worth my time.
"I need help saving Tye-Dye," Telepathy flicked his tail. "I wouldn't have come back here if it wasn't important."
Hm. And you want my help why?
"Because you can go through shadows!" He pointed out, a little frustrated.
But why should I help you? It's not like I'm your friend.
Telepathy's tail twitched. Darkrai was being unreasonably frustrating on purpose.
"Do you know Liana?" Telepathy decided to ask.
Yes... But why is she relevant to this conversation?
"Do you care about her?"
How is that any of your business?
"Because if you do care about her, then you'll help me get Tye-Dye back," he said. "She cares about Tye, but doesn't know he's gone yet."
Darkrai looked at him for a moment, his eyes giving away nothing. Telepathy shivered at his cold gaze, his fur standing on end.
I'll help you... I'm assuming that Tye-Dye was taken?
He nodded, telling Darkrai about the note he had found. His voice was filled with triumph. He would get Tye back.
~*Curiosity's POV*~
Curiosity wandered through the different tunnels, stopping to sniff at different things. He walked down a tunnel that smelled like Telepathy, and ended up in a small cave. It had a nest and some other small nic-nacs in it. He looked at a note that was sitting by Telepathy's nest. Before he could read more than one word, he felt himself get grabbed. His mouth was snapped shut by someone's hand. Curiosity struggled in the person's grip, but couldn't escape. He gave in, and faded away into darkness.
~*Liana's POV*~
Liana watched Curiosity walk down a tunnel, getting up to follow him. Tye-Dye and Telepathy had both disappeared, as if they had teleported away. She walked down the dark tunnel, coming out into a cave. She looked around.
"What? Where did Curiosity go?" She asked herself, confused.
She noticed the note on the ground and read it, gasping at what the note said. Tye was captured, and they wanted a legendary in return for his freedom? Liana realized that Telepathy most likely went after him. She got out her Gardevoir, teleporting back to Arceus' home. She instantly saw Telepathy. The psychic type was talking to Darkrai, who was emotionless as always. She ran over to them.
"Telepathy!" Liana explained. "Thank goodness I found you, whoever took Tye also took Curiosity!"
Telepathy's expression changed, more worried than it was before.
"We need to do something, and quick," Telepathy said, his voice wavering.
She looked at Darkrai, who was looking at them both.
"I'm guessing you're here to help?" Liana asked the dark type.
Darkrai nodded, but didn't say anything. She heard a whooshing noise, and looked over at the air beside her to see Mew.
Telepathy?!
"Oh great..." Telepathy muttered.
Telepathy! I missed you so much!
Mew flew down to Telepathy and hugged him, much to Telepathy's protest. The Espeon struggled in Mew's tight grip. Liana tried to hold back laughter, but failed. Telepathy glared at her.
"It's not funny!" He insisted.
"Sure," Liana said, still laughing.
Telepathy sighed and pushed Mew away. She looked hurt, but didn't say anything. He looked at Liana.
"Mew has a little crush on me," Liana heard Telepathy say.
"Wait, did you just use telepathy?" Liana asked.
"I didn't get this name for nothing."
Liana shrugged, "Fair enough."
She shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts. Curiosity and Tye were more important at the moment.
"Okay," Liana whispered to herself. "Let's make an escape plan."
|This was a bad chapter, I'm sorry. I was in a rush to finish it since I hadn't uploaded a chapter of WLS in a while, and it turned out bad. I promise the next chapter will be better! Anyways, thank you readers for all the reads I've been getting, it's encouraging me to continue this story. Again, thank you, and read on!|
