~*Liana's POV*~

Liana sighed, bored. This was the second day they were searching, and they still found nothing. There was nothing they could go off of, like the trainer knew they would go looking for them. Curiosity was sniffing around, his little tail swaying. Giratina was getting a birds eye view, but was also finding nothing. Liana tripped over something, nearly falling over. She turned around to see what it was.

"A pokéball case?" Liana asked herself, picking it up.

It was purple in white, indicating that it was holding a Masterball before.

"Someone who owns Masterballs, huh?"

Liana put the case in her back, and lifted Curiosity up. She placed him on her shoulder, and went deeper into the woods to investigate. The leaves filtered sunlight through them, causing a pattern to take place on the forest floor. Liana looked up at the trees, and ended up tripping over a tree root. Before she knew it, she was falling into a hole.

Darkness closed around her the farther she fell. This hole was deep, and it still hadn't stopped. She braced herself for any kind of impact, and felt suprised when she landed on something soft. It wriggled under her, a blue, white, and pink ribbon flying in her face. She batted it away and stood up to see what she had fallen on. A uniquely colored Sylveon lay there, looking at Liana. It was staring daggers at her.

"Hi...?" Liana greeted, unsure about if it was friendly or not.

"Watch where you're falling, baka," the Sylveon snarled.

She gasped. The Sylveon had talked to her, and it had called her an... Idiot? How dare it!

"Listen, you! I don't know what you're thinking, calling me an idiot, but you have no place to do that!" Liana retorted.

"Oh yeah? Why not?" Sylveon asked, his face sly.

"B-Because! I work for Arceus!" She blurted out. Oops.

Sylveon's eyes widened. He looked frightened, as if Arceus was bad. He stood up and darted down a tunnel.

"Hey, wait!" Liana called after him, following close behind.

Curiosity ran just ahead of Liana, barking at Sylveon. Sylveon turned his head, still running.

"Shut up, you stupid fluff ball!" Sylveon snapped, turning his head back around.

Curiosity didn't like that. He ran faster after the Fairy type, determined to catch him. Up ahead, a light source started to show. Vines grow over what seemed like an entrance, Sylveon easily slipping through them. Curiosity followed in suit, and not to long after, Liana as well. Liana stopped, her mouth agape.

They had entered a giant cave, that had small splotches of the roof missing, which allowed light to shine through. There was a small pond in the center, a small stream coming off of it that led to another tunnel. There were vines and ivy leaves growing along the walls, the stone barely visible on some parts. The Sylveon they had followed stopped by the pool and looked back at Liana and Curiosity. It let out a shrill cry, and Liana covered her ears.

"Tye? Tye, what is it?" Another voice called, coming from a different tunnel.

An Espeon came out of another tunnel, its purple fur bristling with uncertainty. When it spotted Liana, it froze.

"Oh..." Was all the Espeon said, taking a step back. "Who are you?"

Liana hesitated to tell them. She had just met the Eeveelutions, and they weren't exactly normal either. They could talk, and the Sylveon was miscolored.

"Are you going to answer, or not?" Sylveon grunted, impatient.

"Fine," Liana sighed, irritate by Sylveon's impatience. "My name is Liana, and this is my partner, Curiosity."

"What made Tye so frightened anyway?" The Espeon asked Liana. "You seem fine to me."

"The Sylveon? He freaked out when I said I worked for Arceus."

The Espeon's ears flattened against its head.

"Did he send you to find us?" He asked, his split tail swishing.

"No? Why would he?" Liana asked, confused.

Espeon seemed to sigh in relief, Tye following in suit. Liana was still puzzled about why they were scared of Arceus.

"Why are you so scared of Arceus?" She asked.

Tye and Espeon exchanged a glance, then let out more shrill cries. Liana covered her ears again, and Curiosity ran in small circles. When the screaming stopped, she heard the pitter-patter of paw steps in the different tunnels. A Glaceon, Leafeon, Flareon, Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Umbreon walked into the room from different tunnels. They all looked at Liana, their eyes curious.

"Before we tell you anything, we should introduce ourselves," Espeon told her. "It would be rude not to."

Liana nodded in understanding, showing them that they could go.

"My name is Telepathy," Espeon introduced himself first, then gestured towards Tye. "You've met Tye-Die already."

"My name is Frost," the Glaceon said quietly, then looked at Leafeon. "And that's Dew."

Umbreon spoke up next, "I'm Night Skye, but most call me Skye."

"I'm Burn!" Flareon barked.

"I'm Thunder!" Jolteon also barked, full of energy.

"And I'm Lake!" Vaporeon said, splashing the pond water with her tail.

Liana pulled out her Pokédex and quickly scanned over the different Pokémon. All males, weird, Liana thought. She looked at Skye.

"Now that you know our names, I think it's appropriate to tell our story now," Telepathy announced. "Except for the fact that it's growing dark."

Liana looked up at the roof of the cave. Telepathy was right, the golden light of the sun was fading.

"I better get back to HQ," Liana murmured.

"No no, I insist you stay here," Tye told her.

"But..." Her sentence trailed off.

There was no harm in staying here for the night. She would simply send Gardevoir to go tell Arceus she wouldn't be back that night. She sighed.

"Okay, I'll stay."

Tye looked pleased with himself, and led her down another dark tunnel. I wonder if I should trust them, she thought to herself. Or if they're just trouble all together.
