Sky's POV

Hello. My name is Sky. I am 17 years old and live in Hiroshima, Japan. I attend Blue Pegasus High School and I'm a Third Year. I attend the school's Volleyball team along side Jenny Reallight, Kagura Mikazuchi, Milliana Kitten, Sherry and Chelia Bendy, and of course, my best friend, Kaori Makken. My favorite class is Calculus and English as a foreign language.

Our Volleyball team's rival is the Lady Fairies as they are the only team we can never beat. But I have heard many things about not only their Volleyball team Captain, Mirajane Strauss, but about their Fallen Faires baseball team Captain, Chaos Dranigon. The ace. I've seen him play before and I can't help but to say that he's very good at his sport. But, I then heard that he was from America and I lost all interest in him. I guess Americans allow their kids to have tattoos before age 16 and whatnot.

Anyways, I am from a broken family. My momma passed away one year because of Cancer and my dad just fell apart. He did terrible things and is now in prison serving for life. I live with Kaori seeing as she was pretty much the closest thing I've had to a family since that happened. If it weren't for her, I wouldn't be here right now.

I could be considered as one of the cool kids, but I really don't talk to them. I'm more of a bookworm than anything else. I spend most of my free time in the library getting work done that way I have more time to do whatever at home.

I at first saw myself as a burden. For my momma passing away to living with the Makkens. I felt like I intruded on their lives but they treated me like family nonetheless. But, I still usually hang out with Kaori a lot.

I want to go to The University of Tokyo to play volleyball and for my singing career. I have made a few songs of my own but never really wanted them to be out there on the radio.

I guess that's my life and everything you need to know.

I was walking through the hallways towards my locker after my last class ended. I didn't talk to anyone on my way there. I didn't really feel like talking to them except for a few hellos here and there.

As I got to my locker, I put my books in there and grabbed my workout bag that has my clothes in it. But before I got into the locker room, the pretty boys at our school tried flirting with me as they do with all the girls.

"It's not that I like you or anything, but I would be honored to go on a date with you." This was Ren Akatsuki. He was The Tsundere out of the group that we call, the Trimens. He had black hair, tanned skin, and brown eyes.

"Has anyone ever told you that your beauty and I were meant to be together?" This was Hibiki Lates. The Straightforward of the Trimens. He had dirty blonde hair, blue eyes, and slightly tanned skin.

"Would you please be, my big sister?" And last and definitely least, Eve Tearm. The youngest one of the Trimens who for some weird reason is into that sibling relationship.

"Sorry boys. Not happening." I told them as I went into the locker room to change into my workout clothes and packed my bag. Today was the final day of the Playoffs, where we faced the Fairies in the finals and show them who's boss. 'Course with monsters like The Demon, Titania, and their head and assistant coach, The Giant, and The Crash, it will be difficult.

"Sky, girl! It's time to go!" Jenny yelled from around the corner of the locker room. She seemed in an upbeat mood as she ran in and grabbed her bag to load it on the bus. Not long until the other girls came in and grabbed their bags. I simply took my book-bag with me on the bus, that way I can finish Bob-sensei's college algebra homework on my way there. Not only that but it has all the things I use for on the way there. My phone, earbuds, charger, wallet, and a sweater Incase it gets too cold on the bus.

I just finish packing my bag into the bus when I see a red Ford Focus blasting English Alternative Rock and decorated with a couple Red White And Blue stickers.

It must be that damn American, I thought to myself. I rolled my eyes and grabbed my book-bag and loaded onto the bus. The drive was an hour long which was plenty of time to finish my work and more time to listen to my music. The other girls are always talking about some of the "cute" boys in the school, their makeup/manicures, or about their opponents. I payed no mind as I just looked at my phone, which was currently playing Drastic Measures of Ignorance by one of my favorite artists, Miku Hatsune, and was currently watching film of our opponent and their opening game plans. From the looks of it, they always seem to change their starting strikes as well as new techniques every now and then.

It didn't take long afterwards until we arrived. One of Fairy Tail High's students came out to meet us. He had short blonde hair, slightly tanned skin, and a lightning-shaped scar over his right eye. He showed Coach Dimiaria (I think that's how you spell her name) the way to our locker room as well as unlock it for us. He gave a wave and went back to the parking lot, after giving the principle back the keys, and drove off. He seems nice but not too nice.

"Alright ladies! The game doesn't start until 1830 hours but I want you out there for warmups by 1745 hours! You have 15 minutes to get dressed!" I probably forgot to mention that our coach used to be in the Japanese Ground Self Defense qForce and is used to timing by 24 hour time. "YES MA'AM!"

Blue Pegasus High School

We lost but it was a close game. The score was 25-23 in favor of the Fairies. They were all cheering as the fans ran out on the court; no surprise. It was a championship game after all. The players and I gathered in a circle and did our breakout for after the games.

It took awhile but we finally got back to the school.

Putting away the stuff nearly brought tears to my eyes. My mind finally realized that this was truly my last high school volleyball game. I would never be playing in a Lady Pegasus jersey for volleyball ever again. Shaking my head, I grabbed the last of my things and started walking out. But Jenny blocked my way from heading towards the lot. She's in a series of sobs, barely holding herself up. I understand that this must be extremely hard for her, seeing as how much she loved volleyball.

After that, I finally see Kaori outside our car, waiting for me with a sad expression on her face. "We should've won that game, Sky. It was in our grasp. But we got sloppy last second and whacked the ball out of bounds. Giving them the perfect setup. Sorry, sis." She finally looked me in the eyes. I could only roll mine in return.

"It's just a game, Kaori. Sure, might've been the most important game of the year, but that's all it is. A game. There's a winner, and there's a loser. We turned out to be the losers for this one. You still have next year. So take the time from now, and to then, to practice on your form. Practice on your weak areas. Now, let's head home. We still got school tomorrow, remember?" I grinned at her as she smiled and got in the car. Before I get in, I see Milliana sitting alone, looking at her phone in disappointment.

"Hey Milly. You need a ride?" Her face brightened up a little and nodded her head.

"Thank you, Sky. I appreciate it." She took the backseat and I started the drive back to her house.

"So Milly, want to explain to me what's got you upset?" Looking through the rearview mirror, I could see her eyes fall down in sadness.

"My parents have been fighting a lot lately and it doesn't hurt that I haven't been getting along with them well either. But lately, dad has been getting more physical in the fights and he's been hurting me and my mom and started to drink a lot more."

My face fell down into a frown as I heard what happened. Then suddenly, an idea popped into my head. "Well, how about you stay with us for the night? I'm sure some time away from all this ridiculousness will help you relax. And I'm sure Clark won't mind, right K?" I don't think I've ever seen Milly so happy in my life. She didn't even bother to think about it as she hugged me from behind my seat, the sudden expression nearly causing me to drive off the road.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you so much Sky!" There were tears in her eyes and that grin told me that I knew I did the right thing.

If only I had known that the next day would catch everyone off guard.

When we got to the house, Milliana was a little scared at first. Which is fine seeing as she never met Kaori's parents. But they welcomed her with open arms as they did me. I kinda sat back and watched as everything unfold. I could tell that the smile Milly now had on her face was not one being forced, it was of that pure happiness.

As we ate, we all played little games that made us all laugh. We sang songs that no other normal family would sing. We danced like no one was watching any of us.

While all of this had been going on, I received a text last night from Jenny to turn on the television and tune in to whatever news channel had been on.

I did as she requested, but I wish I hadn't. All I saw were people eating each other, destruction, and insanity. I quickly turned off the channel before anyone could walk in and notice what I was watching. Maybe it was just a prank, or maybe not. I don't know. Some things are just not really meant for us to find out.

Ignoring what had just unfolded before my eyes, I got Milliana settled into the guest room of ours. She was exhausted from the past few hours and I could tell that she really needed this, getting away from home and just being able to be herself.

I closed my eyes that night, and awaited for whatever dream sequence would lure me in.

The next day had become something I at first never could have imagined happening.

We all heard the principle pretty much get killed over the P.A as his screams. All it took for the chaos to unleash was a piece of chalk to hit the floor. At that moment, everyone went bat shit insane. I kept Kaori, Milliana, and Jenny close to me as I didn't want to lose them in the midst of what was happening before us. Once I saw fit, I grabbed a baseball bat from a nearby open locker, Milliana took the nail gun from the workshop room, Kaori picked up a now dead kid's pocket knife, and Jenny used the picks that were holding her hair up as a weapon.

We fought all the way, picking up Kagura and Minerva, with Kagura using her bokken and Minerva just used the dead's momentum to send them head first into a wall or railing. Together we fought all the way to the teacher's lounge where we grabbed the keys to the travel bus. On our way there, we found Yukino and coach Dimaria cornered into a bad spot. We helped them out and we made a straight beeline for the bus, wasting no time to trip over bodies or equipment. Once in the bus, we hauled ass off the school grounds, with Dimaria driving, and watched the whole civilization go to shit.

AN: Wow. Did not expect for me to take nearly six months just to finish this one chapter. What, with trying to juggle homework, my job, and track as well as these stories, I am only one man and can only go so far to update. I do choose to work on these stories as much as I can, but it can be a hassle. Now, I'd once again like to thank Crystal for allowing me to use her two characters, Sky and Kaori, in this story. Special shout out to her.

Now, some of you may have noticed that my GTA story had been released for a little bit, but was taken back down. Why did this happen? Because, due to malfunctions on the site, over half of the chapter that was there had been deleted by the server. I deeply apologize for this happening, but I would like to think of this as a blessing. The part that been deleted had been done half assed and had been rushed. I will try to get it back online when I can, but I think I should tell you this first.

I am working on a new story once again. I'm sorry. It's just, I've got all these great ideas from the game I've been playing and I don't want it to go to waste. What game you may ask? Well it is a horror game, to say the least. The game is called Until Dawn, and many of you have heard of it before as it had been out for two years now. Currently, I am debating on whether to throw Chaos into yet another story, use my new OC, Jason Coltron, or use them both. Y'all let me know in the comments, or don't. I dunno. None of y'all ever say shit when I post votes.

So long everyone. I love y'all very much and I will see you guys later!
