All six of them were now in an interrogation room with the five teens sitting on chairs and Ms. Goodwitch pacing rapidly in front of them. Ms. Goodwitch then speaks up saying, "Children, I hope that you realize that your actions tonight will not be taken lightly. You put yourself and others in great danger." to which Mal stutters a protest but was cut off by Ruby saying "But they started it!" Glynda then continues with "If it were up to me, you'd be sent home... With a pat on the back..." She then noticed Ruby and Mal had starry-eyed smiles, a certain Tom just about to sleep and the other boys sulking, so she then continues with "...And a slap on the wrist." She demonstrates with her riding crop, which Ruby barely avoids as she gives out an "Eeek!" and Tom was startled awake. She then continues "But... there is someone here who would like to meet you."

As she says that, a grey haired man in a black coat with a green scarf comes in with a plate of cookies and a mug of what is presumably coffee. "Ruby Rose... you have silver eyes." He then turns his around to Mal and continues "And you... um... Mister...". Mal then sheepishly continues saying "I-i-it's Michael Espina, b-but j-just call me Mal sir O-ozpin.", to which the man now identified as Ozpin continues with "you have silver eyes as well. Well, just one that is. Care to explain?" Mal just looks at Ozpin shocked and then realised it and says "Ah, oh you mean this eye? Oh no, this isn't silver, I just have a silver-colored contact lense to make my blind eye cooler looking." "Oh and how about you?", Ozpin adds pointing at Zeph who shrugs and says "Zephyr Quezon, call me Zeph.", Jei bows and starts introduces himself with "Hello everyone, I am Jedidiah Abarres, nice to meet you all." and then bumps an already asleep again Tom who was awoken from sleep and quickly says, "Oh, I'm Thomas Jordan Pasobillo. Call me whatevs."

Ozpin continues with "So... where did you all learn to fight exactly?", Ruby quickly answers "S-signal Academy!", Jei, Tom and Zeph all said "Zeph's, dojo. /My uncle's dojo." and Mal just shrugged.

Ozpin then continues with, "Who taught you all to wield weapons with such skill?", and then puts down the plate with the cookies.

Each of the boys then take one cookie and then ate it, savoring every bite, savoring the right amount of cocoa, sugar and salt placed into it, the crunchy, yet soft texture, the taste of every chip that slides on the tongue and how it feels to gulp each chunk.(Author note: Dangit, I drooled on my keyboard.), with Mal beaming a bright smile which made everyone who looked at him feel sense of warmth inside. Jei then spots Ruby starting eat the cookies in a slightly unnatural fast rate. Seeing this is as rude, he places his hand on Ruby's shoulder and says "It's rude to scarf your food down like that.", to which Ruby just glares and say "What do you know? We just met.", Zeph then follows up with his usual soulless voice, saying "You might choke." which startles Ruby actually making her choke.

Ozpin then clears his throat out loud to get their attention and repeated, "Now that that's done, please, answer my question, who taught you all to wield weapons with such skill?"

Everyone looks to Ozpin and Jei bows slightly and says, "Sorry for our rudeness, but the person who taught us is Zeph's uncle*gestures over to Zeph*". Seeing his politeness, proper posture and apology earned Jei a small smile from ms. Goodwitch. Mal was then snapped out of his cookie induced trance by Jei tapping him in the shoulder. Mal then says "W-with m-me. Well, I never got to learn like they did, since I'm sickly. Instead, I observed them every day and researched. Excuse me..." He then lets out a coughing fit with Ozpin, Glynda and Ruby looking at him with worry. Tom then assures them it's fine, Mal just has to take in medication from his bag. Tom then gestures over to Jei who then unzips Mal's bag and finds the sick boy's inhaler. He then hands it over to Mal who then promptly uses it and stops coughing.

Ozpin then says "I... see...,Mister Espina , may I borrow that?" and after Mal hands it over, Ozpin begins to examine it and then reads the ingredients and then says "Interesting little device you've got here mister Espina... I digress, miss Rose, whoever taught you to wield a scythe that way? The only one I know is a dusty old crow". Ruby perks up and says "Oh, that's my uncle Qrow. He's a teacher at Signal. I was complete garbage before he took me under his wing. And now, I'm all like—", she then starts making various karate poses and noises which Tom and Mal giggled uncontrollably. Ozpin himself couldn't stop himself as he giggles a little as well. He then asks "Why are children like you training to be warriors?". All of them replied at the same time with various answers with Jei saying "To protect people", Zeph saying "I wanna maintain my family legacy.", Tom saying "Because its fun.", Mal saying "So no one gets hurt..." and Ruby saying "I want to slay monsters." with Mal and Ruby slamming the table but Mal grunts from the pain of his bandaged hand. Ozpin studies them and asks them, "Do you know who I am?". Zeph, Ruby and Mal said "You're Professor Ozpin, headmaster of Beacon Academy." with varying levels of excitment while Tom and Jei shrugged. Ozpin then says "Hello" to which everyone greets back with Tom saying it awkwardly as he thought introductions would be finished. 

Ozpin then exchanges glances with miss Goodwitch, as she show her disapproval with a small "Hmph!". After that, Ozpin turns towards the five youths and says "Well, okay.". Jei then calls out to his three friends and shouts "Group huddle!' to which the three other boys huddles with him. He then looks over to Ozpin and says "May we speak a bit first?" to which Ozpin said "Go right on ahead."

Within the huddle the four boys then looked at each other before the silence was broken by Jei, as he says "Hey, we should reveal our secret to him.", which Tom replies with "Which one? The one where we're from another world? He'll TOTALLY believe us.". Zeph then says with a whisper that showed more emotion than usual saying, "I don't trust him, he has been quite iffy the whole show.", which Mal quickly rebuts saying "But, from what I've read from the script and comment section arguments, yes I read those more than I watch the actual show, he makes gray area decisions for the right reasons. I say we tell him." Ozpin then interrupts saying "What show?" to which the boys shout from being startled. Jei then sighs and says "Okay, we'll come clean. I- we aren't exactly from here...", "Ruby then says "Oh so what? Are you from Vacuo or Atlas or something? Are you *gasps* fugitives?!", Mal then answers Ruby with "N-no Rubes, we're... from another reality all together.", with that last part being slightly quieter as he twiddles his thumbs expecting to be laughed at. "Hahahaha! That was a funny joke, Mal.", was what Ruby said before looking at Mal who smiled while swinging his head side-to-side to gesture a "nope" and said "O-oh, your serious." Tom slams both fists together and says "Some asshole who calls himself Fate thought it was REEAALL fun just throwing a bunch of kids into a random internet show!", to which Ms. Goodwitch says "What do you mean a show?". Zeph sighs and then says, "If we're really doing this... Anyways, believe it or not, from where we are from, Remnant is basically a world within a show called RWBY(Ruhwooby), spelled R, W, B, Y.; The reason we were thrown here was because we were accidentally thrown into a wager by some all-powerful being who calls himself Fate, who dared us to defy him." 

When Ozpin heard the word "all-powerful", he clenches his fist and looks down with slight twinge of anger in his face. He then says in a tone that was void of enthusiasm and filled with seriousness"I believe you...", but Ruby was still not having any of this as she says "Prove it." with a smirk plastered all over her face. Mal then sighs with defeat in his voice as he says, "Don't hold it against me for what I'm about to reveal okay?". Ruby quickly rebuts with a smug "Yry me." to which Mak inhales and says "Okay, here it goes. Your half-sister is named Yang Xiao Long, both of you have a father named Taiyang Xiao Long, your mom is the late Summer Rose, your sister's mom is the former huntress Raven Branwen, your uncle is Qrow Branwen, if memory serves correctly, a week from now or so from now, Yang will ask who that dude we fought was and by the way, his name is Torchwick, Roman Torchwick. *coughs* I'm sorry. Anyways, I have a bunch of other info, but those might screw who you're going to get as team mates so no more from me." which left Ruby dumbfounded. And then... there was silence as everyone including the four otherworlders were processing what to do next.

Ozpin then breaks the silence by asking "If I may ask, do you all have anywhere to stay?" to which Tom says "Unless you don't take Filipino peso as money, then I guess even money we don't have." Ozpin then looks at them with a slight bit of pity. He then exchanges glances with ms. Goodwitch and then both nod. Ozpin then turns to the four boys and says "Okay, so here's the what we are going to do. I shall be financing the basic living necessities and weapon creation for all four of you until you can provide for yourselves. Anything else you need just contact me. But please, whatever information you can give that won't destroy anything important, please I urge you to give me." Zeph pushes his goggles up and says "We need these two to be acquainted with the world of Remnant as neither of them really have any idea on the show itself." Ozpin gives a light smile and says "I shall have professor Oobleck give mister Abarres and mister Pasobillo extra-curricular lessons then.". Mal then stood up and said "Wait,wait,wait. What about home? What about all the people we left back on Earth?! Our friends, our family?!". Tom then holds Mal by the shoulder and says "Unless you have any idea of getting back home, I'm pretty sure we're stuck here. So suck it up and we'll just ha-" Mal then starts tearing up as his smile starts to falter. He excuses himself and runs out of the room crying. Everyone in the room looks at where Mal was with concern as finally Goodwitch speaks up saying "Poor child, he must miss his family dearly." Jei, looks at the table with sadness in his eyes and said "It doesn't help when out of all four of us, he had it worse. To think, he survived a car crash in which his older sister as well as his uncle perished. Ever since then, his mental health had always been fragile, yet he somehow finds a way to keep moving on. These are just one of those times where his smile falters. W-we should go." Ruby, also concerned, speaks up saying "I-I should come along too."

Zeph then says "Here, this is what I remember of the show as a riddle that way you will only understand it when the time comes." as he hands over a piece of paper over to Ozpin who then proceeds to read it. It says:

"All starts well, all is fine.
Life is sweet just like fine wine.
Yet dark still lingers within the land of light."

  "But balance comes to all, even the light is not safe. After, an enigma of fire and ashes invades with a gem of bright green deceit and a blackened messenger, a once proud and mighty beacon of light will fall and all who upheld it will scatter."

   "Yet despite it all, a few souls remain strong. Though they experience loss, the flickering light refuses to be doused. Yet, there is an ending which they still have not reached, though close they may be. Move Onward, Not There Yet. Open Up Mister."

Ozpin closes the note and tells Glynda as they saw a the five leave, "We need to decipher this message as soon as possible. Contact Qrow..."

The four teens then eventually find him in an abandoned and run down building kneeling down as tears flowed from his face. When they got closer, they hear him muttering while also whispering find yout happy place. Ruby then calls out to him with a timid yet concerned "M-mal? A-are you okay?"

He then looks towards them and says "Y-yeah Ruby, I just do this when I am sad or... really sad." They all then pull him into a group hug as Tom says "Sorry about earlier dude, but with what we can do, going back home is virtually. But just remember our group motto." All four guys smile as they all said in unison, "Brains may burst from bad times but brodiot bonds will never break." All four of them shared a laugh for while Ruby chuckled at them.

After an hour later still with Ruby and the boys, they were now walking when Ruby says, "So what is it like in the that other world?". Everyone was taken slightly aback by the sudden question but then Mal snaps out of it first.

Mal: W-well you see. It's basically this world if grimms, faunus, aura and dust never existed. Oh! And robots are still relatively new.

Ruby: Umu, that's boring. Besides how would you do any of the cool stuff without dust or aura. I mean, I'm not trying to be rude or anything but your world sucks.

Zeph, being the war/gun fanatic that he is, decides to speak up as well.

Zeph: But have you guys ever went to space? People in our world certainly did.

He then proceeds to flex everything he can about our world including gun powder, jets, tanks, and rockets.

Ruby: Okay, okay, your world isn't boring. Sheesh.

Tom: *sigh* Yeah man, if it only weren't for the fact that two world wars didn't happen, as well as a whole bonanza of other problems.

Ruby: Wait, world wars?

Jei: Ms. Rose, you know how Zeph said that billions of people exist in our world?

Ruby: Yeah?

Jei: Well, without a greater foe, humanity eventually succumbed to fighting itself out of greed and stuff.

Ruby: Okay I'm back to seeing your world as dumspter fire.

Mal: It is, but it is our dumpster fire. There is beauty within that chaos.

Everyone nods and then Zeph speaks up saying. "Anyways, weapons right, seeing as out stuff is broken I guess we might need to ask Ozpin if he has a workshop where we could make weapons and set up a small hq.". Ruby then jumps up and down happily as she imagines all the cool weapons they could probably make. Suddenly out of nowhere, a crack appears in reality and a very familiar cloaked figure appears.

"Yo, it's me. Fate again.", to which everyone takes out their (honestly battered and barely holding up)  weapons. Fate then holds up his hand and says "Chill, I'm just here to say something. I'm just here tonremind you four of the wager." to which the boys say "What?". Fate then says, "For now though, just chill in this world, until sonething fun happens. Happy hunting and good luck. Okayyyy byeee!"

He then says, "That's all the time I have for now, okay bye. Oh and take your time.", he then disappears from a dumbfounded group of confused children. Four of them then scream out random names like, "Sonzai X! (Zeph), AQUUAAAAA(Jei), ZELTREEETCH!!(Mal)" and Tom just silently curses saying "Dinklebuuuurgg..."

Ruby then asks the four "WHO-AHA-WHAT?!", to which Mal says "We'll explain later." "She then stops and thinks, after a short while she says, "Alright, let's just forget about that for now, h-he did say take our time so let's not worry about it for now." to which the boys just nodded.

While they were walking away towards wherever Ruby was living in, little did they know that they were in fact being spyed upon by a mysterious and eerie presence. The mystery person then spoke and said," Interesting, we can make allies of them yet. The pieces are all almost set, the preparation. Cinder, are the pawns ready?", to which another woman says, "Almost there, my queen." to which the voice replies with "Good, it won't be long then."
