"We're in Remnant?!", was what both Mal and Zeph exclaimed as they saw a shop that said "From Dust till Dawn"

Then Tom say "Where?".

Mal then says with stars in his eyes, "We are in the world of RWBY!".

He then proceeds to squeal before coughing. Jei then interrupts by saying "Look" as he points at a pile of weapons with a note on top.

Jei then picks up the note and reads it out loud. "Hey, it's me again Fate. Sorry about this, I'm just bored so I wanna see someone try and beat me and you guys just seemed so like you could fit in this world. Anyways, so you guys won't die too quickly, I arranged you all some basic weaponry which I got from seeing how you guys fought earlier as well as your bags with your stuff still inside.

I may or may not have eaten one of Mal's Oreo packets(don't tell em) .

By the way I also took the liberty of healing you all since I may have roughed you four up too badly.

Anyways, just in case ya'll are wondering which part of the story I threw you guys in, that would be at the very start at episode 1. Also, just to make it harder for you guys to win, common enemy types will appear at larger amounts just to balance out all the stuff you are gonna do in the future.

He then picks up the weapons and starts to distribute them to his friends according to which they picked.

He took the saber and kukri, Zeph took the M1 Garand and wakizashi as well as a Glock-9, Mal hesitantly took two targe shields muttering out "I won't kill." and finally Tom takes an UMP-45 and two Caestuses.

As soon as they finished, the rest of weapon stash gets covered in the same sickening green flame emitted by Fate and then proceeds to disintegrate.

As soon as they finished equipping and reloading their new weapons, a red cloaked girl crashes through the shop's window while kicking against a guy in black tux and red inner. She then pulls out from behind her a mechanical red scythe as she anchors it to the floor. After seeing that, Mal just stares in disbelief.

Zeph then says, "We're not in Kansas anymore boys."

Suddenly, thirty or so similarly dressed men came out of the store after a voice from inside said, "What are you all waiting for? Get her"

They then fought each other with the black-haired girl gaining the upper advantage for the most part. Mal then tries to rush in, saying "Wai, there are more thugs than there was in the original series, we need to help.", but was stopped by Zeph as he said "Don't worry, this is Ruby we're talking about. This is the same Ruby to have fought multiple proto-beowolves and not get injured. She will be fine.", with the same monotonous voice he has been using ever since.

However, this was not the case as Ruby, though winning in the one-V-ones was in fact starting to show signs of exhaustion from the sheer amount of enemies she was facing.

"Even this is too much.", was what Mal says as he yanks his arm off of the grasp of Zeph. Tom and Jei joined in with Tom saying "He's right". Zeph just sighs and then loads a bullet pack into his rifle. They then ran towards the mob of enemies Mal on vanguard, Zeph on rear and both Jei and Tom as main dp.

"Okay, so before we fight, I need to know. What's supposed to happen?" Jei asks stopping everyone so they can plan.

Zeph sighs, and says "Ruby should've caught up to their boss by now." with a voice that has a "Why do I have to be bothered with this?" kind of tone.

Jei then clasps his hands together and says "Okay, so we just have to keep them busy then? Okay then."

So he holds up his smartphone and then blasts "Ride of Valkyrie" as all four of them charge towards the men in black tuxedos. The first hit was by Zeph with shot straight to one of their heads.

Seeing this, Mal then panics saying "Why did you kill him?!" to which Zeph assured him all he did was knock him out due to his aura. Mal then quickly looks to the side and sees a sword about to hit him in the face. However, Jei was able to luckily parry it off. After which, Jei asks Mal "Hey are you okay?", to which Mal shakily nods. They then continued fighting with Mal blocking, then Jei attacking right after giving the enemies no chance to defend. While this happened, Zeph and Tom were providing cover fire, taking out anyone trying to shoot their melee teammates with a hail of bullets.

Eventually, the four were somehow dragged into the very middle of fight, fighting side-by-side with Ruby herself as they fought in an Avengers-esque way with Zeph in the middle, picking off targets one by one, Tom doing something similar but also mixing it up with a few punches and kicks, Jei fencing against two enemies, Mal boxing, with his small shields acting like improvised gloves and Ruby running around taking enemy after enemy down. After half of the enemy forces were taken down, Ruby asks them, "Is it okay if I leave the rest to you guys.", and Tom quickly replies "Go, we'll take care of the rest."

Despite trying their best however, they were eventually overpowered by the ten that faced them, due to their lack of aura, Mal's respiratory disease, exhaustion and because of sheer number. However, they did succeed in helping Ruby as she was now in her way to the leader of the mafia-esque group, Roman Torchwick, who was clapping, amused at what unfolded in front of him.

Seeing as how he has seemingly won the fight, he says to the five of them, "Red, Scarlet, Yellow, Blue, White, oh my, is this a parade. Cos it was worth every cent. But I'm afraid *raises his cane and points it at Ruby* this is where it ends.". He then fires his can gun, launching a bright red energy blast at the Ruby to which she was able to dodge. She then continues pursuit of the Torchwick fellow who at this point was already climbing up a ladder while five of the ten remaining enemies kept Ruby busy(for a very short while that is.)

Meanwhile, the other five have the four boys bound with rope and were ready to execute them with guns aimed to the head.

The fifth one started to talk, "You boys did a pretty swell job at keeping us at bay and for that, we're gonna take you out properly. But before we do, I think that it would be most honorable if you tell us your names first"

Zeph replied with "A chivalrous opponent? Very well, the name is Zephyr.", Mal says, "M-mal" while trying to hold in his tears, Jei grits his teeth and says "I'm Jei", Tom shrugs and says "If I'm gonna go down, at least I know I'm not forgotten, the name's Tom"

After all of them were finished, the fifth one and presumably the leader of the five thugs smirks and says, "It's a shame to have killed you four, but oh well, however remember this name in the afterlife, if there is one. My name is Leonard.

Well boys, take them o-". Before he could finish, he was immediately cut off by a powerful telekinetic force which knocks all five of the mafiosos down. When, Jei and friends look behind themselves, as if Chance intervened, they see a woman in probably here late 40's, wearing white and black; as well as a purple mini-cape, walk up to them.

Mal and Zeph then quietly whisper "Glynda Goodwitch." with Mal having hints of excitement in his voice while Zeph was as void of emotion as his voice usually is. She then frees them with telekinesis, says to the four of them "We will have a discussion, later." and joined Ruby on the roof. When she left, Mal then says "We need to go help!" as blood drips from his mouth, from his earlier coughing fit. Jei then asks his friend "A-are you well enough to do that though?", knowing his friend's condition.

"Y-yeah I am", was Mal's reply to it. Before they joined Ruby and the ms. Goodwitch, Zeph turns around and says "Nice, to know that even this world's mafia has a code of honor" to which Leonard smiles before passing out.

By the time, the four of them reach the two superior fighters, they saw that the two were already battling Torchwick and the mystery woman.

However, unlike the actual show, both villains were on the rooftop as well and the fight was between Torchwick and Ruby, and ms. Goodwitch against the mystery woman in where Roman was fencing with Ruby, and both older women shooting projectile after projectile at one another.

Mal, after realizing what is happening, exclaims, "This didn't happen in the canon story?!" with Zeph following quickly afterward with "The world is already deviating from the show." in his usual single toned voice.

Tom then snaps both of them off, saying, "We need to help them shift the tide of battle." as he runs off towards the fight. The others nod and join in as well, however, due to the intensity of the fight before them as well as the fact that the Tom has ran out of bullets and Zeph refuses to use the rest of his rounds due to it being "wasted effort", they could not find any way of helping. Suddenly, in the heat of the moment, Roman Torchwick shouts out we need a distraction to which the mystery woman's hands glows and she fires a lance of fire directly at Ruby. Ruby closes her eyes and awaits the fiery attack, only for it to not come. When she opens her eyes, she sees none other than Mal somehow holding it back(although barely).

A deep voice within his mind then spoke. "I am the shield that stands firm..."

He then turns his head slightly towards her and asks "A-ar-re, y-you o-ok-kay?" stuttering from the effort he is forced to put into blocking the attack.

Once the flames dissipate, he was left with a second degree burn to the left arm, a broken shield and more blood coming out of his mouth, but a face with a pained, yet determined smile. He then raises his arms in a boxing position and says "I can do this all day."

He then holds the shield with his right arm like a frisbee and prepares to throw it. Just as he was about to throw it he screams out "AIRSTRIKE" and when he has launched it finishes by screaming out "SHIELD!" and watches as his shield gets caught by an explosion of flames done by the woman.

Due to the bright light, everyone was forced to close their eyes. When they all opened it, they saw Torchwick and the woman in an aircraft about to leave. But before they did, Zeph pulls down his bandana and words out "Cinder" with just this lips and then smirks, to which the mystery woman's eyes widened before both villains left. 

Ruby then runs up to Mal and inspects his arm saying "Oh my gosh, oh my gosh,oh my gosh, we need to get you help!". Glynda Goodwitch then steps in and says "You four are in big trouble." to which all four slouched and sighed.
