[Prologue]

I'll Save You

The air smelled of blooded so strong Elsa could almost taste it in her mouth. She ran through the large houses fear in her eyes. Frost trailed behind her tears turned to ice on her cheeks. She tried to calm the beating heart in her chest in fear they would find her.

She glanced back catching a glimpse of one of The Fear Feeders in its black mask and gold eyes. Its eyes locked hers and a cry escaped her dry lips. Quickly she turned the corner into her fathers study.

Throwing a glance back she crashed into a figure in front of her. They grabbed her arms and she struggled letting out small crys. "Shhhh!" She felt her mothers hand cover her mouth. Elsa calmed slightly looking into her mothers eyes.

When her mothers hand removed Elsa spoke panicked her words came out stuttered and scratchy as if she were out of breath, "Weres Anna? Weres Father-" she froze her eyes wondered behind her mother she seen why the blood smelled stronger than before.

Her mother grabbed her facces holding it in her hands, "Don't look behind me, look at me sweety look at me," the sound of the Feeder got louder as it made it towards them making the floor boads creak warning its prey it was coming.

"Mother there getting closer there coming!" Elsa whimpered. Her mother grabbes her daughters shoulders an dpulled her towards the book shelf. Her fingers running over the spines of books before falling over a purplish color.

Quickly she pulled it knocking a few others off the shelf. A small part of the book shelf moved inward revealing a small tunnel. "You have to go," she said shoving her daughter to her knees the could hear the creatures getting closer.

Elsa struggled slightly, "No!" She cried, "I can't leave you! They'll kill you mom! Please come with me! Let me try to uses my powers! Please!"

A tear fell down her mothers faces as she kissed Elsas head, "Protect Anna, keep her safe," she whispered.

"I can't mom! Pleases don't go please! I can't do this on my own! I can't learn to control without you!" Elsa sobbed slightly ice formed on the walls and snowfell.

Her mother pushed her into the tunnel Elsa turned to face her mother as she sat on her knees, "You'll be fine Elsa," she assured, "I love you, tell Anna I love her to."

"I will I love you mommy," Elsa let out a scream as her mother was pulled away Elsa reached to grab her but snagged her mothers necklace instead pulling it free from her moms neck."NO!"

She watched as the Feeder picked her mom off her feet holding her my her neck in the air. A sand like substance poured from her mothers mouth, eyes and ears. The Feeder absorbed it. It only took seconds before her mother went limp and the Feeder snapped her neck letting her fall to the floor next to Elsa's father blood pooring from all the places the sand had.

Elsa let out a sob just as the Feeder turned its gold eyes boring into her blue she pushed the secret door shut leaving herself in complete darkness. Clinching the clear blue snowflake necklaces Elsa crawled through the concrete tunnel.

She was terrified and she knew the Feeders smelt it she could hear them through the walls around her scratching at them. She felt sick to her stomach the walls seemed to get smaller around her.

Maybe it was just her, either way she had to get out of here. She had to get to Anna. It seemed like hours when really it was only minutes she finally reached the end. Her heart pound as she looked at the concrete wall in front of her.

It seemed like there was no way out. But She knew there had to be her mother wouldn't have sent her through a tunnel just for her to end up trapped. As she looked for a way out pushing at the walls that trapped her, she heard it.

The heavy breathing and scratches of something sliding creeping a Fear Feeder was close. It was in the tunnel. For the millionth time Elsa let out a loud sob beating her gloved fist against the concrete wall not caring if it made her hands sore or that frost was forming.

"Elsa?" A voices cried.

"A-Anna?" Elsas voice cracked her gaze looked up above her was a stone. Elsa pushed against it feeling it move slightly.

"Elsa were are you?" Anna asked.

Her voice came from above Elsas started pounding her fist against the stone above her, "Down here!" She cried, "Help me move this!" She heard the Feeder get closer, "HURRY!"

As she pushed upward her small twelve year old sister gripped the corner of the stone tile struggling to lift it. Tears rushed from both sisters eyes and sweat beaded down there foreheads. The tile moved and Elsa looked up into her sisters greenish eyes.

"Elsa," Anna smiled.

"Ann-ahh!" Elsa screamed as she was grabbed from behind and pulled away from the opening.

Annas hands grabbed Elsas hands the gloves causing them to slipped slightly. "Hold on Elsa!" Anna demanded. Elsa gripped tightly kicking her legs she looked away from Anna and into the eyes of the Feeder. Fear seemed to rises in her she felt it fill her. She felt herself being pulled towards the creature.

Elsa gagged as the fear seeped out her mouth in the form of sparkly sand. It burned her throat and tasted terrible. Images of what happened to her mother flashed through her mind. Elsa knew she had to look away but she couldn't. "Anna you have to let me go!" She chocked out with the sand, "Mom told me to tell you she loved you! I love you!"

Just as the Feeder started to absorb the slightest bit of Elsa fear, Anna pulled her free and out of the tunnel on to the hard tile. Elsa layed on the floor she chocked up blood onto the white stone tiles.

Not sure what was going on she looked into her sisters fear filled eyes, "Elsa! Please snap out of it! We have to run! Elsa! Elsa! Els-," Annas voices seemed to fade and Elsa vision blur she saw the slightest glimpse of her sister being pulled away by Feeders as more entered the room. The last thing she heard was her little sister scream for her to help then all went black.

And the fifteen year old was left, thought to be dead on the tiles the only alive soul in the mansion. Fading in and out of consciousness her last thought that night before some of her family's friends found her was a promise one she was determined never to break,

'I'll save you Anna."
