'Come on just let it go, theses are things you cant control,' -Scars (Allison Iraheta)

[Chapter Four]

*"Why did you lie to us?" Rapunzel exclaimed.

Elsa eyes flickered up from the ground she stared at. The loud growls and scratches on the walls outside. Her heart was still pounding and she swallowed her nervousness. She was afraid the creatures would find away in.

She pushed off the couch and stumbled past the teens to the board up windows. She struggled to take breaths in. She felt sick and panicked. She wasn't used to people in her home.

Her fingers trembled as she pulled open a drawer pulling a clean fresh white pair of gloves. She slid them on feeling safe and calm for only a few moments when someone put there hand on her shoulder.

She snapped around grabbing the hand of Jack curling her fingers tightly, "Don't touch me," she said.

The coldness of her hand began to seep through the thin cloth of the glove. She gave a cold hard glare. Jack shook his hand out of her grip, "Okay," he said, "Elsa, Elizabeth, whatever your name is, your gonna help us learn to fight those things and find Pitch and defeat him!"

Elsa looked at him then the other three. She then laughed, pushing past the white haired boy to check the boards on the windows. "What makes you think I'd help you with anything?"

The four guardians exchanged looks, "Because if you don't then the whole world will be at stake!" Hiccup explained.

"Thats the worlds problem not mine," Elsa pointed pulling a curtain over the boarded up windows.

"Don't you care about all the people that will be hurt if you don't help us, the darkness, evil, fear, here its gonna spread outside to the whole world!" Rapunzel explained.

Elsa knew about the world outside Arendelle. She had read about it in stories, people inside Arendelle could rarely leave, because of the Terrors. They were large mean creatures that liked the smell of pain. They guard the boarders rarely did anyone make it out.

People could easily get in, out was the challenge. Elsa walked past the group brushing her fingers on the clock and Anna carved into the wood. "I don't care about anyone or anything."

That was a lie sort of Elsa only cared about one thing. Finding her sister. She won't stop searching until she died. Closing her eyes she was jerked back forcefully to face a angry redhead.

"Ye 'ave ta care!" She yelled causing Elsa to flinch.

Rapunzel put her hand one the redhead, "Merida calm down."

"I don't have to care Merida, its not my problem its the worlds, and if you haven't noticed I'm not apart of the world," Elsa hissed, "Besides I can't help you."

"The moon won't have sent us if you couldn't!" Jack says.

-"Elsa, come here! Listen do you hear it?!" Anna exclaimed.

The eight year old blonde walked to her sister rubbing her eyes, "No Anna, now go back to sleep, you do know were not supposed to be by the windows when the suns gone," Elsa says tiredly.

Anna looked at her sister, "He told me to tell you, one day you'll do something great."

Elsa laughed closing the curtains and pulling her sister to the her bed. Helping her up into her bed she tucked her small sister in. The small strawberry blonde yawned. "Whos he?"

"The man in moon," Anna said softly, "He said he'll protect you, and one day you'll help protect the world."

The blonde laughed, "All by myself," Elsa said playfully going along with the whole thing.

Anna yawned again, "No the Guardians will be with you," she says, "you'll be a wonderful team."

Elsa laughed again,"Goodnight Anna go back to sleep."

-

The memory fade as quick as it came,"The man in moon," Elsa whispered looking towards a boarded up window she hadn't pulled the curtains on. Moonlight shined through the cracks. "Whatever."

"Its true, and were, were The Big Four," Rapunzel squeaks.

Elsa narrowed her eyes, "I've heard of you," she says, "The shadows whisper about you guys."

"Shadows?" Hiccup wondered.

Elsa looked at them they clearly knew nothing about the place, "The Shadows are what people call the children around here, they speak a lot of Guardians, and the Legend of the big four all from a fairly tale book that the orphanage has."

"Orphanage?" Jack repeat.

"Its were most children around here end up, its the only place there assured safe its in the dead center of Arendelle, the fear feeders and other things never go there," Elsa explained, "People who do keep there children usually lose them to the creatures around here mainly feeders."

"Wait what doesn't anythin 'appen there at the orphanage," Merida demand.

Elsa looked at them, "Its like a hurricane, the calmest places is in the eye of the storm, my guess thats the eye of it all."

The four exchanged looks, "So these children believe in The Big Four?" Jack said, "If thats true why doesn't the lights appear on the globe."

"They don't believe in The Big Four, they just talk about you to try and rid or forget of the fear around them, it only works for awhile it eventually consumes them and they become terrified mice in a war with a million cats," Elsa tells them.

They all frowned,"Elsa we need your help, " Jack said after a moment of silences.

"Please!" Rapunzel begged, "We just need your help to figure out how to defeat all these creatures of Arendelle! In return will help you with whatever you want we promise!"

Elsa stood there frozen, a sudden spark formed in her. They could help her find Anna. Suddenly Elsa shook her head. No, they wouldn't help they'd just slow her progress. She was close to finding her little sister she could feel it.

"No, listen even if I did want to help, I couldn't you can't defeat these things, as long as theres fear, they'll always be there," Elsa tells them, "And you can't kill fear."

"But you can fight it!" Jack tells the blonde.

"Not me," Elsa says. "I won't you gone at sunrise, goodnight."

"Elsa please, the moon chose you, your a guardian," Jack told the girl whos back was turned.

"What makes you think I wanna be a guardian?"

---

Elsa sat in Annas old room everything still the way it was when Anna was taken. Elsa leaned against the door frame. Dust lingered everywhere causing Elsa to sneeze. Her eyes watered she could hear the hushed voices of The Big Four through the vents.

She left them downstairs in the living room. She couldn't stand being surrounded by those people. They didn't understand the fear feeders were the least of there worries. There were millions of threats. Even more than the regular nightmares, and Terrors.

The real threat was there leader. A man who never showed his faces but sent his messages through his Screams. Thats what the people who agreed to join him were called.

They were gifted in making sand that formed nightmares and other images of peoples fear. They knew what scared people. They had ugly gray skin, gold eyes and black hair. There teeth were always filled with blood.

They appeared in daylight, they made sure everyone followed the rules. They also hunted fear hunters. An killed them in front of everyone. They were Screams, because they could let out a scream that made grown men shake in fear.

The man who ruled was known as The Boogie man. An in Elsa opinion he was a coward using his creations to do his dirty work instead of growing some balls and doing it himself.

Elsa slowly walked to Annas bed slowly laying down on it. Her body was tired but she couldn't sleep not with the sound of the feeders outside. She felt cold tears run down her face.

She hated Arendelle, she wished to leave. However she couldn't not without her sister. Plus this places was her home. This house was the last piece of what she onces had. A family.

She put her gloved hand over her mouth and weeped quietly. The air around her turned cold and it started to snow. Elsa let out a frustrating growl. She quickly sat up tears making her vision blur.

'Elsa,' the small voice said to her.

She wiped her tears looking around the room for were it came from. An she found who. A girl sat on the small vanity, she looked of solid ice. The girl smiled and Elsa jumped hitting the bed frame against her back.

"Anna?" Elsa shocked.

The small girl chuckled. Elsa knew this wasn't Anna. It looked like her, and sound like her but it wasn't her. It was most likely her imagination. 'Why didn't you safe me?' The ice girl Anna cried, 'You let them get me!'

Elsa couldn't breathe, "I tried it was a accident, if I had got up and ran with you, we could have got away I could have saved you!"

'You failed! You were supposed to be there for me!' The ice Anna screamed.

Elsa pressed her hands to her ears, "Im sorry!" She repeated over and over.

Still the ice Annas words got to her making her shake and cry. It was all her fault and she failed her sister. It seemed like forever before Jack stepped into the room amd stared at the platinum blonde who cried in her sleep.

Raising his hand he reached to touch her shoulder to shake her away but Elsa snapped awake grabbing his hand and pushing it away from her. Jack looked at the Last Arendelle stared into his eyes.

Her blue orbs held secret, and pain. It made him shiver, although he was never cold. Ice formed on the floor and frost on the walls from the two as the both stood there. Jack stepped back gripping his staff.

Elsa looked at him, she pushed back her hair. The other three stood by the door. "I'll make a deal, with you, I teach you how to fight every creature and you in return help me find someone, also you will except my decision on not becoming a guardian."

The Big Four exchanged looked and nodded eagerly, "When do we start?" Hiccup asked.

Elsa looked at them, "Tomorrow, after I return from work, you'll stay here until I get back, and when I do will start as soon as the sun sets."

"What will we be doin after sun set?" Merida asked.

The blonde smirked playing with the end of her gloves, "You'll see."
