The rest of the day was spent looking around during classes for Marisa. Turns out she wasn't in any of my classes. However at the end of the day when I was sitting on one of the benches outside of the school waiting for my mom to pick me up I spotted a girl with long brown hair, bangs, and glasses wearing a multicoloured minidress from Aeropostale sitting on the bench across from me. She was holding a binder that said Marisa." Marisa." I whispered to myself." Excuse me did you say something?" I looked to see Marisa starring at me." Oh are you Marisa Kydd?" I asked." Yes" she said. " Hi I'm Anna Carson I was a friend of your boyfriends. Um I'm sorry about what happened." Marisa looked at me with a soft smile." Thank you." She said. " I heard you guys were really close." Her smile faded. " Well we were close, that is until the last time I saw him." She said nervously picking at the plastic on her binder." When was that?" I asked ." Um probably a few hours before he disappeared, he was going on about how maybe we shouldn't see each other anymore because he had met someone else. He told me he met her that very day to be exact" explained Marisa. " I thought he ditched school the day he was killed?" I questioned." He did but I saw him." Said Marisa looking more and more nervous by the second." I saw him." She repeated." What do you mean you saw him?" I said. Marisa looked at me her eyes filled with many different emotions I could not describe." I have to go." Said Marisa suddenly picking up her bags and running away. " Wait!" I called. But she was already gone.

That night as I was lying down on my bed staring up at the ceiling I thought about everything that happened with Marisa that day. How she said that she saw Kris the day he died meaning that I wasn't the last person to see him. Also she said that the day he died he wanted to break up because he met another girl that very day. But who? besides Marisa I was the only one he talked to. Maybe I was the girl he liked. But I quickly pushed that thought out of my mind. Anyway despite the fact that Marisa ran away. I had got some more info on Kris, and Marisa was now a suspect. I mean she was acting so nervous when I was talking to her. Maybe she was Kris's killer. I had Also decided that tomorrow considering we had a day off due to a school meeting for the teachers, that I was going to go to the scene of the crime. Which according to the articles I read was in the woods near the school, that's were the fire started. For the first time in a few days I actually felt like I was getting somewhere.

The next morning after I had breakfast I got on my bike and peddled down to the woods were the fire started. When I arrived at the woods I was greeted with a giant yellow piece of tape strung across two large poles indicating that I was not allowed to pass seeing as it was a crime scene. But I was desperate for clues. So I looked around to make sure no one saw me and quickly ducked under the yellow tape.

There were a lot of trees it was hard to tell wether or not I was going in circles and after walking for about fifteen minutes I still hadn't found the area in the woods were the fire took place. But my luck was about to change when I found a giant pile of burnt cut down trees. So this is were it all went down. I thought. I looked around kicking Burnt branches and picking up pieces of rock and pine needles but found nothing. I was about to give up and leave when I found something on the ground. I bent down to pick it up. It was a bracelet or at least half of one made out of Medal. There were the letters RA on it. " RA" I whispered to myself. I shoved the bracelet in my pocket and made my way out of the forest.I did it. I found the first Clue.
