The next morning my mother called me into the living room and told me one of my fellow classmates had been murdered. She like most of the people in this town found out about what happened to Kris last night after they broadcast it on the news. My mom of course new nothing of my little conversation with detective Ford. So I just nodded and tried my best to act shocked. I hated lying to my Mom but I just couldn't bring myself to tell her about what happened.I don't think she would be very happy to know that her daughter is the number one suspect in a murder case.

After my mom dropped me of at school that morning I looked around the hallways for Rose but I couldn't find her. Oh well she was in my Biology class I could just talk to her then.

As I entered biology class I saw that everyone had been partnered up. I looked around and oddly enough Rose was sitting by herself. She was the only one without a partner. So I went over to Rose." Hey" I said in polite tone. " Do you want to be lab partners?" Rose looked up from the book she was reading and just stared at me. Rose had green eyes and brown hair that was dyed a light shade of orange it kind of reminded me of a sunset she also had on a pair of black glasses. "Sure." She replied in an emotionless voice. I sat down next to her." I'm sorry about your brother." I said not really thinking. She just stared at me with a look of shock. I guess she didn't expect someone to bring up the death of her brother. Everyone new what happened to him but know one dared bring it up today not even the teachers. They were just acting like it was just a normal day like one of there fellow classmates hadn't been murdered. " Thanks"She said in a heartbreakingly sad voice." They think you did it. Don't they?" She said. I stared at her." What?" " They think you killed my brother."I was shocked how did she know?" Yeah" I said "How do you know that?" I asked." Last night detective Ford gave my parents a list of the possible suspects of Kris's murder. You were on the list." Rose said. " I didn't do it" I exclaimed" I swear I didn't do it!" " I know" said Rose in a calm voice." So I'm guessing you didn't want to be my lab partner because I'm good at biology?"" No I actually wanted to ask you about Kris" I said. " Listen I really wasn't that close with my brother we rarely talked ever" said Rose." So you don't know if Kris had any enemies?" I said." No. But if you want to find out more about Kris you should probably talk to his girlfriend Marisa. They were really close. She new more about Kris then my entire family did" explained Rose. "Okay thanks Rose." I said just as the bell rang. She started to walk out of the classroom." Wait! " I said. She turned around "How did you know I didn't kill Kris?" I asked " Lets just say I have this ability to sense what people are all about." Replied Rose and with that she turned and walked out of the room.
