"Do you want to see my new puppy?" J.D turned towards me smiling.

"Oh so Monica did buy you the puppy. Man I wonder what was your reacting going to be if she bought you the unicorn."

He became serious.

"that was an option?"

"you'd be surprised what other things were." I giggled and upbraid my hair climbing down the ring. J.D followed me.

"so are you up for it?"

"yeah sure."

"Okay...Do you have any ideas about the name."

"what name?"

"the puppy's name."

"oh...Ammm I don't know. But we should give him a cool name.."

"how about Benny."

"in which way is that name cool. It should be something like Ace or Cesar."

"ooh i like Cesar."

"it sounds very powerful doesn't it."

"yeah.."

We walked out on the parking lot holding hands. It was dark and all the lights were off. It was scary. I pulled closer to J.D as we walked down the street.

"Where's your car?" I asked

"It's a little further so we have to walk. Monica's fault."
I tightened my grip on his waist and walked carefully watching out for any sudden movements but the street remained quiet.

As we walked I could hear some cats into the alley. I hate alleys.

They were creepy and bad things happened there. The day when I found J.D there were coming as a flashback.

"hey, you okay?" J.D looked at me. I nodded my head smiling but i was scared. I had a bad feeling.

We got to the car but nothing happened. I sighed in relief and just when i wanted to get into the car I saw a man with a hood on the other side of the street.

I screamed and hugged J.D.

"what?" He asked worried.

"there was a man..with a hood."

He smiled.

"It was probably just a man. Why are you so jumpy? Is this about Shelly?"

"I don't know. I have a bad feeling."

"Just get in the car and I'll take you home safely. I promise."

I hugged him closing my eyes and breathing in his scent.

I opened my eyes and pulled away when i saw the man behind him with a gun.

I screamed but it was too late. He raised the gun and hit J.D on the head. I attacked him but before i knew it someone from behind hit me and i blacked out.

"Julie...Julie are you okay?"

I opened my eyes to the sound of someone's voice. I looked up to see Steven trying to help me up.

"What happened?" I asked. "Where's J.D?"

"He's fine." Steven pointed towards J.D who was still laying on the ground.

" J.D." I aimed towards him despite the headache i was feeling. J.D was still not moving.

"Maybe we should call an ambulance."

"there is no need. He just needs to wake up. It was you I was worried about. Your hit looked worse."

I reached the back of my head and it had a little blood.

"I'm bleeding." I looked frightened at Steven.

"It was bleeding only when the attacker hit you. There is no serious injuries, don't worry"

"how can i not worry. We were attacked and my boyfriend is still unconscious. How did you find us?"

"I came for the match like everyone else and i parked my car here. I saw a hand by J.D's car and that's when i found you."

I looked at him. He did save us "thank you." I smiled. "help me get J.D up."

I brought J.D up and leaned him on the car. He started waking up and complaining.

"J.D are you alright?" I asked holding his hand.

"Everything is a blur. What happened?" He said touching his head.

"We were attacked."

"why?"

"That's what we have to find out." Steven interfered.

"what are you doing here?" J.D asked.

"He found us." I looked at Steven

"Did you saw who attacked us?" I asked him

"No. But we'll find out." He looked at J.D

"Oh no. We are going to the police." I said loud and clear.

"we don't know what we are dealing with." J.D told me.

"We are not making the same mistake twice."I folded my hands.

"what if it was someone from the police Julie. Then what? Who is going to help us?" J.D tried to make a point. "Let's figure out first why we were attacked."

"that's simple. We are being hated to the ultimate level of hate."

J.D tried to stand up and Steven helped him.

" Your hand." J.D grabbed it. "It's from my head." I said it casually. His eyes were filed with fear.

"It's nothing. Just a little blood."

"Maybe we should see a doctor."

"Then he would ask me how I hurt myself and what will i tell him??? Just leave it. If we are not telling the police, what are we going to do?"

"Well first I am getting you home. Tomorrow we can think with a clear head."

"what if they come to my home?" I asked worried

"They won't." J.D said and pulled me close. I hugged him.

"I am scared." I admitted.

"I know. Don't worry babe. Next time they are not getting this close."

He leaned to give me a quick kiss. He pulled out his cell. "Hold on a minute." He pulled away talking with someone on the phone.

"Are you better?" Steven asked me.

"My head hurts a little. But I guess i will be alright."

"They scared you pretty much?" He asked.

"Well i don't get attacked every day."

"Yeah. Sorry. Stupid question."

J.D came back.

"Look. I have to go and deal with this. Steven can you take Julie home?"

I swallowed hard.

"Don't leave me alone." I wined and hugged him again.

"I have to go. I just called Jake Chris and Johnny..."

"Why are you pulling them into to this? I don't want them to get hurt too. Jake is like my brother J.D."

"He can take care of him. I am worried about you. You had enough hits for one night. Go home and rest."

"Come on Julie." Steven pulled my hand but i pulled it back

"I will not be ordered around by men." I yelled.

"Just go home." J.D asked me. "why can't you just listen for once."

"why are you acting like i can't help."

"i don't want you to get hurt."

"well too bad because i already am. I was attacked and so were you. You were the one to go first so doesn't that tell you something."

His eyes glowed.

"Just because you won one fight doesn't mean you can win all of them."

I bit my lip. "Fine." I yelled. "Go and do what the hell you want."

I pulled Steven. "Where's your car?"

He showed me and i got in slamming the door. Once the car started and he drove off I let a single tear drop but stopped the others. We drove in silence all the way until we reached my house.

"Thanks..." I turned towards Steven, "For driving me home and helping us..."

He smiled. "I'm glad i can help."

I opened the door but he pulled my hand. I turned around.

"Am i forgiven?" He asked.

I wanted to say that i had to think about it but i had enough of fights and other stuff.

"Yeah." I smiled and leaned to kiss his cheek. "You are."

I walked out of his car and went home. I felt a little guilty for doing that but what the hell. My boyfriend left me to go hunting.

With that the anger came back and i ended up slamming doors again.

The next morning the headache was back. The other night I had a hard time cleaning my head from the blood.

It was the last week we had from school and i was planning to have a good day despite all the crap that happened yesterday.

My parents left early to go and check on the baby so i was left with a sandwich as always. I had a quick bite and decided to take the bus to school instead of waiting for J.D.

Once I arrived i headed for classes when i bumped into Mark. Finally someone who is carefree .

"Hey Mark." We hugged.

"Hey." He smiled. "Can we talk?"

"Yeah sure. About what?"

"I need an advice."

"from me? Okay." I smiled and pulled him on the side. This is going to be about Yvonne. I know it.

" Yvonne kissed me yesterday." I tried to play serious and nodded my head but inside i was jumping with joy.

"aha continue."

"and i kissed her back without even thinking."

"aha..." Yes, yes yes.

"but i think it was a mistake."

"what?"I yelled surprised. "You have to be joking.. You guys have chemistry."

"But Sofia?"

"what about that bitch?"I yelled so angry he was confused with my harsh words.

"Okay. Who are you and what have you done to my best friend."

"Sorry. I'm a little edgy his morning. I am just tired of seeing you men doing the same mistakes."

"But what if I'm wrong. What if Yvonne does the same thing as Sofia?"

"So what? Now you will never be with anyone because of that. Look, first of all Yvonne is a different type. Sofia was always a little crazy but Yvonne is sweet and innocent and she is such a fun person to be around with. You deserve someone like that. Someone so lovable."

"So your saying that i should try?"

"yes. Do you like her?"

"I do, i guess."

"Don't guess. Do you like her?"

"Yes."

"Then go and kiss her."

"Maybe i should talk to her first...."

"Mark. I'm in a bitchy mood today so don't go on my nerves. That girl likes you, you like her. We girls don't like hesitation we want determination so get your ass over to her locker and kiss her in front of everyone without talking. Got it?"

He laughed. "Okay okay. Don't kill me fighter. After yesterday I'm a little scared of you."

"Well you should be." I sighed. "Today someone will get the worst of me so you better keep distance.."

"Okay Julie." He kissed my cheek. "I'm going to do what you told me so chill." He laughed and walked away

"If I hear a complaint from her you are dead Mark." I yelled laughing.

I walked into class and sat in the back looking at the teacher. He gave us a quick test but i had no trouble solving it. At least school is something i am good at according to my boyfriend. I saw Steven but he didn't even looked at me or said anything. Maybe he knows something, Maybe J.D tells him more than me because i'm a girl and he had won more fights.

Oh man. I was so pissed i broke the pencil.

"Is there a problem?" The teacher asked me.

"Just my pencil. But it's alright. I'm done." He took the test and looked at it. He smiled and went back to his desk.

"I don't feel very well, may i be excused." I asked him.
"Yes sure,." He smiled and i walked out of the classroom. I walked down the halls. After a little while Steven walked out and ran after me.

"Hey are you okay?"

I stopped and turned around.

"Yes. I am feeling just peachy." I flashed him a sarcastic grin and kept going.

"what did i do wrong?"

I sighed and turned around.

"Nothing. You just stay away from me when i'm like this." I walked away but he followed.

"Is it because of what happened yesterday?"

"what do you think Sherlock?"

I breathed again when i saw his face. "Sorry. I'm not in the mood so leave me alone."

"Do you think i can help?"

"do you have a death wish?"

"I've head worse." I turned around and raised a brow.

"wanna try me?" i asked

"sure. How bad can you be?"

"Why are you suddenly all around me? I thought you don't have a crush in me anymore" I asked smirking.

"Oh low blow Julie." He smiled. "but J.D told me to watch over you."

I bit my lip. "I don't need a bodyguard." I said angry as I ran walking out the halls and heading for the back of the school.

I laid on the grass and looked at the sky trying to calm down.

"That way you'll only get bugs in your hair."

I puffed when i heard Steven.

"I don't care." I hope no bugs will attack me.

"so you are just gonna lay there until the bell rings for the next class?"

"That's the plan."

"that's silly."

"not to me."

"aren't you gonna get bored?"

"if you are bored go and leave."

He didn't say anything. Please leave. But he laid down next to me.

"I don't see nothing calming about this. My back hurts."

"Oh my god." I laughed annoyed. "Would you shut up?"

"why don't you say so." He smiled and closed his mouth.

I enjoyed the peace for a while but he talked again.

"I mean the sky is not even clear. There are little clouds everywhere."

"what do you want?" I asked him lifting myself up to seat.

"a clear sky."

"i mean why are you here bothering me? Why aren't you in class? What do you want?"

"to keep you company?"
"is there any other reason."

"well J.D told me to keep an eye on you."

"then again you could do that from way over there." I showed him another three far away.

"i like it here."

"Then I'll go there." I stood up but he went after me.

Angry I turned around grabbing a stick from the ground.

"Here. Fetch." I threw the stick and looked at his reaction. He just stood there and watched me.

"wow Julie. How more bitchy can you go?"

He said that and looked at me. Suddenly i felt really bad. Why was a so mean to someone who only tried to make me feel better.

"I'm sorry Steven." I rubbed my face with my hands

"Don't be mad at me." I asked him but he stayed the same.

I came closer smiling. "Can we call a truce?"

"I don't know. First we have to cure that bitch inside of you."

I laughed to that. " How are we going to do that?"

Then he smiled and started tickling me.

"No, stop. I hate that." He tickled me and i tried to get away running. He started running after me.

"You won't catch me." I pulled my tongue out and saw him running faster. Suddenly i tripped and as i tried to keep my balance he knocked me to the ground.

I started laughing and so did he.

"Well I'm glad someone is having fun."

I raised my head to see J.D. The anger that vanished for couple of minutes came back.

"well who knew having a babysitter was going to be fun." I smiled coldly and pushed Steven away. I stood up and helped Steven up too.

"don't mind me. I'll just go and catch the guy who attacked us." J.D smiled coldly.

"Sure babe. Go. I can't help you remember. I'm a girl who has won only one fight. What can I do?" I gave him an innocent face and walked pass him. He grabbed my hand.

"I'm sorry for that."

"Yeah. I'm sorry too." I pulled my hand out and walked away.

(J.D's p.o.v)

"What the fuck man?" I turned to Steven when Julie left.

"What did i do?" Steven played dumb.

"What were you doing with her?"

"You told me to keep eye on her and i did."

"Yes. I told you to keep an eye on her not to keep your body on her."

"we tripped man. Chill. What's with all the jealousy?"

"don't you chill me? If you fucking do a move on her i'm cutting you in pieces and i don't care how many years in prison i will have to lay."

"Okay. Okay." He raised his hands. "Did you find anything about the attacker?" I calmed down

"yeah. They were too. One got me and the other one Julie."

"Anything else?"

"Jake is checking the security footage on that street."

"Did you find anything else?" why did he wanted to know everything?

"No. Unfortunately." I decided to keep some details to myself.

"Well if there is anything i can do to help..."

"Yes. Try not to wreck my relationship."

"I was talking about the attackers."

"If there is i will tell you."

Steven smiled and passed by me. Angry kicked a can that i saw and i tried to calm down.

Julie was so so....stubborn. Can she see that all he did was to protect her. Who gave a fuck about what happens to him. She was vulnerable and needed protection. Why was she mad about him trying to protect her. He didn't think that would insult her. Ugh, WOMEN!

Yes, yes. We women are the confusing species. XD
