We walked into the building and I saw that it was just an empty dark hall leading towards one door. I pulled Angie with me and when I wanted to open the door I heard giggling.

“Oh Johnny stop it. Haha not there. Don’t put it like that. Oh my god..”

I stormed into the room smacking the door when I almost fainted. There they were. Both shameless. My best friend……………….putting a party hat on Julie’s head. wait what?”

“Surprise!!!!” It took me a little while to look at the people behind them and the big sign saying happy birthday J.D and Angie.

“You lying cheating bast…”Angie stopped yelling and crying when she saw what was going on.. “Oh.”

“Happy birthday guys.” Julie smiled and laughed while Johnny was blowing a whistle.

It hit me...My birthday was in three days. That’s what I was forgetting.

“But it’s in three days.” I looked at them confused.

“We know….But Angie’s birthday is in five days so we thought, hey why not make them a surprise party a little earlier.”

“But we…” Angie looked at me confused.

“We thought…”

“You thought what?” Julie and Johnny looked at us with grins on their faces.

“We thought well…” Angie bit her lip and she pushed my hand with her elbow.

“Tell them what we thought..”

“Why don’t you tell them?”

“Because I yelled lying cheating bastard.”

“No you tell them..”

“You do it.”

“You do it.”

“No.”

“Yes.”

“No,:

Coughing. “Are you going to tell us or what?”

I rolled my eyes. She’s going to kill me now.

(Julie’s p.o.v)

“Okay…Start..”

After the music was on and Angie and J.D pulled me and Johnny on the side we waited for an answer.

“So..we thought that…well under the circumstances…you have to understand we were forced to think that…”

“Just spill it out..” I ordered.

“We thought there was something…between you two..”

Me and Johnny looked at each other as Angie said that and started laughing.

“You thought we…that we were…” I laughed so hard tears came to my eyes.”

“How did you jump to that conclusion?” Johnny asked.

“Well you were acting really cold and you’ve been distant and I thought you were cheating on me…” Angie started.

“And then we found out that you two were heading off together somewhere after ditching us…” J.D finished.

“Hello party people..” Jake stormed in laughing.

“You mean by him?” I pointed towards Jake.

“Yeah.” They nodded their heads.

“That asshole. I’m gonna kill him later” I laughed. “After he saw something and thought the same thing as you he confronted me and after I explained he had some idea to trick you guys but me and Johnny denied it and it was a deal he would drive you here on some other excuse.”

“Well he didn’t spare us from the stupid idea. I will be the one killing him later.” J.D fussed.

“Okay okay. Let me explain what really happened.” I started.

“Johnny?” I sighed surprised.

“Shh…” He was so close I was scared. And confused.

“What..”

“I need to do something and I don’t know how Angie will take it considering you are her best friend.”

I gulped and looked at him.

“What are you talking about?”

“I..” He leaned closer.

What the fuck?

“No one must know about me meeting you here.”

“You scare the good out of me. Don’t make me slap you.” I pushed him away.

“Wait I need you.”

“For what?” I asked confused.

“For the most stupid crazy wonderful idea I just got.”

“What is the idea?” I came back intrigued.

“I don’t know if you know but J.D’s birthday is coming up.”

“What?” I yelled but he shushed me.

“Yes. I suppose he didn’t tell you. Well the thing is Angie’s birthday is coming up too.”

“Yeah. Oh my god. Their birthdays are couple of days apart.”
”Thank you captain obvious.” Johnny used sarcasm on me.

“So what is this plan of yours?”

“ Well i really hate to say this to you because you might spill it out and it’s not something you should be included in…”

“I’m getting less interested.”

“The thing is. Me and Angie had always talked about doing it but never did it. And nothing I thought off was going to be good enough for her. She means to much to me.  So I got this crazy idea I could make a surprise party and give her the best present ever..”

“Sex?”

“No, wait you misunderstood me. The present is a week in Paris. All expenses paid and I planned to go with her once school was finished. And you know it would be special because it’s in Paris and she..”

“She loves Paris.” I finished for him. “That is like the most romantic thing ever.

“Yeah..And I want her to feel special because she is special.”

“And what about this party. You want me to help?”

“Yes. Because I know shit about organizing a party and I need you to help me make this right. I need you too because I am really bad at keeping secrets. Angie will see right through me.”

“But this is a wonderful idea. And I could think off a romantic gift for J.D too and this could be the most awesome idea ever. But Johnny..... If we do lie to them I swear…J.D will notice and he will pull it out of me.”

“Then act cold. I will act cold and distant too so they think they should back off.”

“Okay. And if he asks what it’s all about?”

“Just make up a lie. Tell him is about Steven’s come back.”

“Okay.”

“And one more thing.”

“Yeah?”

“You have to make Angie believe there is something she should be worried about.”

“You want me to lie to Angie?”

After what just happened I can never look at her in the eyes. I feel like I’m betraying her but I can’t resist this.

“It’s the only way.”

“What if she finds out about this before it’s time to tell her? She will never forgive me.”

“We have to do this. We have no other way but to hide and hope we don’t get caught.”

“And what about J.D?”

“You can’t tell him either. This thing will stay between us.”

“Okay.” I sighed in defeat. “I’ll keep this as a secret.”

“Okay…And what about this hug thing. Did it really happen?” J.D asked.

“It happened but Jake made it look like god knows what. Here is what actually happened.”

“What do you want? We can’t risk being seen together.”

I fussed when I saw Johnny.

“I had to see you.”

“No, you could have just called me.”

“I can’t risk anyone seeing your number.”

“We coudld get caught and everyone could find out about our little..thing.”

“I know but I just…I don’t think I can lie to Angie anymore. It’s harder then I thought it would be.”

“I know. It’s the same thing with J.D. Just….this is for their own good. Like you said.”

“Okay. Thanks for the talk.” He smiled and hugged me. Then he whispered to my ear.

“Do you think Angie will like the plan?”

“I’m sure she’ll love it. She loves you.” I whispered back.

“And I love her. I will do anything for her.”

“I know. She’s so lucky to have you. I’m glad you two got together. Now let go off me before anyone sees us and blows our cover.”

“Okay.”

Then we split up.

“And then Jake saw as and he confronted me.”

 “Okay what’s going on?”

I turned around to see angry Jake starring at me.

“What do you mean?”

“Don’t play with me..”

“Look if it’s about Steven…:”

“I saw you and Johnny talking alone and then you two hugged. Is there anything between you two?”

He asked coming closer.

“No of course not.”

“Don’t lie to me Jules..”

“I’m not…I swear..i’m not”

“You don’t seem sure…”

“Jake please don’t ask me…”

He starred into my eyes making me crack. I guess I will have to turn to him for an advice and a punishment.

“Okay fine I’ll tell you. We are making a surprise party for Angie and J.D.”

“How dare you do a surprise party without me?”

“We wanted to keep to low profile so you are not included.”

“Hell no. I want in or I’m telling J.D”

“You wouldn’t.”

“Try me?”

“Man I hate you.” I hit his shoulder.

“And I hate not being included in a surprise party. Now tell me what did you guys planned? How are you going to lour them in? We could make them think you two are together and in angry speed to catch you and Johnny  doing it and they walk in on a surprise party.”

“Have you been hanging out with Mark a lot, because you sure have seen a lot of movies.”

“I say we do it that way.”

“No way. I will let you help us and I’ll even let you to bring them to the party but not under any circumstances you do this got it?”

“Yeah. Sure. What ever.”

“I should have known that yeah, sure and whatever weren’t promising words.” I murmured.

“So this is all for us?” Angie’s eyes filled with tears.

“It’s all for you babe. Please don’t cry.”

He cupped her face and kissed her wiping of her tears with his fingers.

“Awwww.” I smiled and then turned towards J.D.

“Are you surprised?” I saw his numb look and got worried but then he raised me in his hands and twirled me around the room.

“You little fox. You got me pranked. I just love you..You got J.D’s girlfriend written all over you.”

“I love you J.D.” I was back on my feet and hugging him.

“I so want to kiss you right now.” He stoked my back as I was glued to him.

“All you have to do is ask.”
”I will win that bet.”

“I doubt it.”

“So where are my presents?” He asked.

I pulled away.

“You would rather see your presents then hug your girl?”

“You’re right. I like it here with you.” He pulled me closer. “And may I ask if my present is the same as Angie’s.” He winked and smirked.

“Do you want it to be?” I smirked.

“NO WAY.”

“What? I thought you..”

“No fucking way!” I looked at him but he was looking somewhere else. Then he let me go and headed towards the crowd.

I saw Jake kissing Monica and in that moment J.D pushed him away and punched him.

“Hey.hey.hey.” I yelled after them and ran to split them because Jake was ready to punch back.

“What the fuck dude?” J.D yelled at Jake.

“What is wrong with you man. I’m just kissing my girl.” Jake yelled back whipping the blood of his lips.

“Your girl?” J.D laughed angrily. “Your girl it’s my cousin.”

“What?” Jake was confused.

“The girl you talked about is Monica?” I asked Jake surprised.

“Jake, you know my cousin? Well of course you do. You know Julie.” Monica slapped her forehead.

“Dude look here. I met her and she didn’t even tell me that she is your cousin.”

“So you decided to use her?:”

“Dude didn’t you hear what I saw saying? She is my girl now.”

They yelled so much the room was trembling. I kind of missed those two arguing.

“Well I don’t allow it.”

“You don’t allow it! The fuck man. You can’t do that.”

“Wanna bet..” He stormed to hit Jake but I pulled hi back.

“That’s it! I’m out of here. Come on Monica.” Jake pulled her hand and she followed.

“What are you doing?” J.D pulled Monica back.

“I am not a baby J.D. You shouldn’t have done that. It’s not your choice to make.” He pulled away her hand and she left with Jake. J.D wanted to run after them but I didn’t let him.

“Did you see what just happen?” He was panicking.

“Honey calm down.”

“No..no..no..I can’t she..”

I pulled him from the back door and once we were out he was down on the ground with the knees to his face.

“Do I always do things the wrong way?” He asked not moving from that position. I sat next to him and stroke his head.

“You don’t do the wrong thing honey. You do what you think its best and you have a quick temper. But it doesn’t make you a bad person.”

“But she thinks I’m a bad person. She has changed so much. She doesn’t trust me anymore and..”

“Oh sweetie…” I pulled his head and kissed his forehead and then his nose...And then his cheeks.

“You are the most caring person in the world but just some people don’t want to be taken care of. Monica just wants you to accept the choices she makes and she has a right to a boyfriend. You can’t deny her that. And she made a good choice. Jake is a good guy and he is head over heals for her.”

“But if he hurts her…”

“If he hurts her I swear I will beat the crap out of him my self.”

“Okay.” He giggled and pulled me so I was laying with my body on his and my head was leaned on his shoulders.

“I am still not approving on this until I hear details.” I tried not to chuckle.

“Sure hon.”

“I like when you call me by a nickname.”

“I like it too.” He smiled and kissed my neck.

I have no idea how many times I have said this, but I love this man.

(J.D’s p.o.v)

After the wonderful party Johnny and Julie organized for me and Angie and the awful interruption of a person I called friend I have been in a cranky mood. After I walked Julie home and still haven’t kissed in a long time I arrived home as a bomb ready to blow any minute. I walked in my room but what I didn’t expect was to see Monica there.

“Get.out.” I looked away and opened the door wider.

“I am not leaving until you hear me out.”

“You chose him over family.”

“No, I chose him over your stupidity. Give me one reason I shouldn’t date him?”

“Because I said so.”

She laughed but it was a bitter laugh.

“Oh come on…what would you say if I forbid you to see Julie, would you listen?”

“Now wait a minute. That’s different. I love her.”

“Well I love Jake too.”

Suddenly the room was quite. Did she just said…

“You love him?”

“I do.” She sighed

“Does he know that?”

“No and I will tell him when I think it’s right.”

“Well then I guess since you don’t listen about anything any more my work is done.”

“J.D.”

“No…You promised me that you would date guys but first come to me because i…I thought I was your big brother…but you know what…screw this..you don’t tell me anything any more so why should I tell you…”

I stormed out of my room and down to the dinning room. I pulled the chair and sat while mom and dad starred at me. Monica came rushing down and sat on the table too pouting.

“What happen?” Mom asked.

“Nothing important.” I said and grabbed a piece of bread.

“Monica what happened sweetie?” My mom asked the traitor.

“He is mad because I got a boyfriend and I didn’t tell him.”

“J.D honey that is irrational…”

“We had a deal..She broke it. I don’t wanna hear it.” I yelled.

“Don’t yell at your mother.” Dad turned to look at me.

“Why is everyone making me the bad guy.”

“No one is making you one you are overreacting as usual.” Monica yelled.

“Maybe you should go tell that to your boyfriend.” Her face turned red.

“At least I got mine with no trouble. How long did it take you to get Julie.” How dare she.

“You can only dream of having a relationship like me and Julie. Yours won’t last a month.”

She rose from the table and came to my side, I rose up too.

“You know what. I was going to apologize but you have taken this too far. When you realize not everything is about you, then you can talk to me.”

“Yeah…be sure I’ll do that.” I smirked coldly.

I could see she was angry. She stomped to the door when she turned.

“I’m sure Julie pity’s you.” With that she was gone. I felt my blood boiling. I walked out of the dinning room too.

“J.D where are you going?” Mom yelled but I didn’t cared. I jumped in my car and went to Julie’s house.

(Julie’s p.o.v)

“Come on Jake. You know he only wants to protect her. Monica is like his little sister.”

“He hit me Jules. He hit me.” Jake complained while I tried to convince him to forgive J.D.

“Yeah but he didn’t know you two were dating. Let’s just call it even. You both apologize and will go on with our lives.”

“No way. Nope.”

“Come on Jake. You came here because you needed my advice. I’m telling you if you talk like civilized people without throwing punches everything will work out just fine.”

“Nothing good comes out of talking.”

“Everything good comes out of talking. If Monica talked that J.D was her cousin everything would have been fine. If you have talked to her and find out everything would have been fine.”

“I still don’t see how I can have a rational talk with him.”

There was a knock on the door and then the bell rang.

“Hold on just for a moment.” I went to the door and as I opened it J.D stormed in.

“I hate Jake so much right now.”

“The feeling is mutual.” Jake stood up and looked at J.D angrily.

“What is he doing here?” J.D turned towards me.

“My parents went to tell my grandparents about the baby and show them the picture and I was going to be home alone which you know…it means a disaster is going to happen so I invited Jake to talk because frankly I needed to know what happen.”

“I should go.” Jake stood up but J.D pushed him a little.

“No, you stay. You are my problem and I want it fixed.”

“Me? Dude you caused all the problems.” They started yelling.

“If we just talked…” I started.

“Stay out of it.” They yelled back at me.

“It’s my house and if that wooded table is broken someone is going to have to explain that to my mom so how about you two do this the right way…”

“Sorry Jules. Until he admits it’s his fault this war is going on I can’t be here.”

“It’s not just his fault.” I looked at Jake.

“Goodbye.” Jake stormed out and slammed the door on the way out.

“Okay what was that?”

“What was what?” J.D starred confused.

“You not being reasonable after we talked today. I thought that we could talk our way through it. What just happen?”

“I had a fight with Monica because of him.”

“Are you sure it’s because of him or you just wouldn’t listen to her.”

He stood a little confused.

“Look J.D you know I’m always on your side but don’t you think you are going really harsh on Monica. Did she try to apologize?”

“Yeah but..”

“Let me guess, you pushed her away and yelled.”

“She said some nasty things.”

“And you didn’t?”

“Now what makes you an expert on this kind of crap?” He came closer.“I don’t think you ever had to deal with something like that.”

“Yeah but you make it sound so awful. It’s not as if she slept with him. She knows what she’s doing. She is smart and she likes him.”

“Loves him.”

“There you go. I think Jake loves her too. She is a good person.”

“She said you probably just pity me.”

“That bitch.”

J.D giggled and came closer  and hugged me. “I love you.”

“I love you too. So your gonna apologize to Jake?”

“Hell no. I rather die.”

I pushed him away angry. “What if you were wrong and I was right and you had to apologize would you do it.”

“That’s insane. I couldn’t be wrong.”

“Excuse me?” Now I was furious.

“So you wouldn’t apologize?”

“I never said that.”

“Then what? You think that I would apologize if I was right and if you were wrong.”

He was serious. “You won’t ha? And what if our relationship depended on it.”

“Well would you do it if our relationship depended on it?”

“Now I asked you first.”

“Oh my god, you are like a child that needs to be entertained all the time.” We were practically in a big argument which was slowly leading to a really and I mean really bad argument.

“How does that fit into all of this? You are just making things up now..”

“Oh now I am crazy and making things up?”

“Wait a minute…”

“ Well you are so full of your self you can’t even see how crazy you are.”

“Me? Crazy? I couldn’t even reach you in that department if I was as half as insane like you think I am. I am rational and right now you are starting a fight.”

“Oh I’m starting the fight? Excuse me but I wasn’t the person that stormed in here and wanted to throw punches at another person who is merely guilty for love.”

“Oh so now you are defending him.”

“Yes I defend him is that a crime? He is like the brother I never had.”

“But you are going to have a brother or a sister. Maybe you do feel something more towards him.”

“Oh dear god that’s ancient history. What about Shelly? Should I bring her up? She never takes her eyes of you. One day I swear I’ll chop her to pieces.”

“At least I don’t talk to her you and Jake hang out every day and Mark..”

“Seriously you are gonna bring Mark into this?”

“Yeah well you were making me jealous with that guy.”

“That guy is my best friend and don’t get me started on your past. How many girlfriends did you have? Oh wait, you didn’t. Because you slept with one, one night and another one the next.”

“You did not just go there..”

He came closer and was almost threatening with his tall figure. I pushed him and got on the couch yelling even louder then before.

“You were in a gang…If I didn’t save you, well you would have been a goner.”

“Oh please I could have gotten out of there very well and you know it. And while we are there you never told me what you and Steven talked about. You two seem very close these days. What happened to “Steven freaks me out”?”

“Well I am a forgiving person, unlike you.”

He came closer but this time I was taller then him. Hah! Take that.

“So you are all buddy-buddy with him now ha?”

“Yes I am”

“Maybe I should forgive Shelly too and became friends with her too. Because I need to learn to be a forgiving person like you.”

My blood was just boiling now.

“Maybe you should. And don’t go blaming me if me and Steven are very close. He did asked for forgiveness.”

“Oh so you are going to try and flirt with him now? He is out of a mob and suddenly he is a good guy. My, my this is becoming a habit to you.”

I climbed even on the arms of the couch.

“Maybe is because he is so hot and handsome and he is a jock. I bet he is a better kisser then you. I would gladly stick my tongue in his throat like I’m sure you did to Shelly once.”

“And I will gladly do it again.” He screamed and I shouted.

“You do that. And remind me to send you a link of her porn tape. I’m sure she has them few.”

“you know what. You are just jealous and just so you know there is no better kisser then me. You’ll be crying with tears and begging me to come back because you need me.”

“Oh I need you. Well why did you knock on my door at the first sight on trouble? You could have gone to Johnny…Or shelly.”

“You just can’t let that go, can you?”

“Well you are the jealous one. What if I ever get a male dog. Would you blame me for liking him too?”

I felt my self loosing balance and found my self falling on J.D. He tried to catch me but we stumbled on the ground with him under me and me on top of him. After the complaining sighs we let go off he starred into my eyes. What are we doing? This is not us..

“J.D…”I started

“I’m sorry.” We both said it in the same time and smiled.

“I didn’t mean it.”

“Me nether.” He smiled making me smile back.

“Can I kiss you?” I asked sliding a little up.

“That would mean losing the bet.” He smirked.

“I don’t care. I miss you. You are right. No one kisses or could kiss like you.”

He turned serious and then smiled and pulled my neck. My lips found his and all off the fighting and yelling and screaming was gone. Lost away in a perfect silence.

He pushed me on the side and climbed on top of me not breaking the kiss. It was a long desperate kiss we needed to get back to control. I guess all that no kissing made us cranky.

“I needed this.” He whispered over my lips.

“Me too.” I replied.

Suddenly the kiss went from romantic to a whole other level of passion. It was like I couldn’t breathe without him. I pulled him closer making sure there was no room between us and kissed him deeper. His hands started travelling everywhere. From my hair to my neck then my legs, stomach and they stopped at my breast as he squeezed slowly.

“I want you.” I found my self whispering in his ear.

“Are you sure that’s common sense talking?” J.D asked sending kissed down my jaw line.

“Fuck common sense.” I slid my hands under his shirt tracing his smooth muscular back.

“I want you and I need you now.” I said as I pulled of his shirt and threw it somewhere.

“Say that again. Make me believe it.” He begged.

“I want you….J.D I want you badly…”

I kissed his neck as his hands travelled down to my jeans…

Sorry guys..Too tired to finish the scene..Vote and Comment if you liked the whole confusion thing unwrapped. Thanks for the comments on the previous chapter. It was an exciting thing to do. I'll figure out this scene later. Do you think they should do it spontaniously or planned.? Let me know and as you know i would probably put it aside and not here.Don't worry though.
