Jason Momoa

"Akoya! Feet first!" I yell to her.

She's done this before, right?

"I'm tr-" she starts.

I watch--almost in horror-- as she belly flops into the water. If this were one of my buds I'd be drowning in laughter, but this looked serious.

I start swimming over to her immediately. I become even more worried when I see her thrashing about less and less.

I dive down and grab her and pull her to the surface.

I make sure her head is above water and I start swimming towards a shore.

I swim as fast as I could with one arm, the other was holding her.

I pull her up onto the shore and see that her some skin on her face, chest, and stomach were turning red.

"Akoya." I say as I lower my ear to her chest.

Faint heartbeat, but no breathing.

It probably literally knocked the wind out of her.

I start chest compressions as I look around for anyone else.

"Don't worry, I'm calling an ambulance!" A figure yells from the distance.

"Tell them to hurry! She's not breathing." I say as I turn my focus back to her.

I stop compressions and lean down to listen to her chest again.

This time it's nothing.

I take a deep breath and pinch her nose as I lean down to give her CPR.

My lips latched onto hers and I breathe into her.

I stop and then start chest compressions again.

~

After a few minutes of compressions, a small ambulance finally arrives

They only take her since there was no more room in the ambulance but they gave us the address to the hospital she was being taken to.

"My name is Kale." What I'm assuming is the guy from earlier says frantically as we jog through the trees and back to the parking lot.

"I'm-"

"I know who you are." He interrupts.

"How do you know Akoya?" I ask.

"Akoya?" He asks.

"Yeah, the girl who just-"

"Oh! We call her Lani-- um, Her friends."

"Oh, ok. How did you guys get here?"

"We took the bus up."

"You can ride with me then."

"Really? Cool, Thanks!" He says in a tone that makes me remember it's not every day someone rides in a car with a celebrity.

As we approach I head straight for my Jeep Cherokee and head straight for the hospital.

~

After a 30 minute drive, we finally make it to the hospital.

I learned a lot about Akoya and this 'Kale' guy.

He rushes into the hospital before me as I put on a jacket and sunglasses.
Just some small precautions to avoid being bothered too much.

As soon as I get up and out of the car the cold air outside reminds me my clothes are damp and probably so is my car seat by now.

I turn my focus to other problems at hand, like Akoya's wellbeing.

I rush into the hospital and see Kale waiting for me in the hallway.

He tells me that they have her in a room on the 8th floor and they already treated her.

They must've gotten here way earlier than us. Perks of having an emergency vehicle.

A very old man with silver hair and glasses approaches us. He gives off a know-it-all aura.

"Are you with this woman here, Akoya--"

"Yes, we are." Kale cuts him off anxiously.

He pauses for a moment as if offended and then looks back down at his clipboard.

"I'm going to assume that you were Cliff diving off of Wailua falls, since that's where the ambulance picked her up from. She is really lucky to have fallen nearly 173 feet and not have any serious injuries. However, she will have some nasty bruises on her arms, chest, and stomach for a while. Which one of you will be taking her home?" He says all of this is a sort of scolding tone while looking over his glasses.

"He will," Kale says.

"I guess I am," I say after a pause.

"I'm prescribing this ointment to rub on her skin to help sooth the pain, it will be quite painful the first two days, which is why someone else needs to apply it, but afterward she should feel the effects of it and feel good enough to do it on her own." He continues.

He hands me a bag.

"What's her insurance information?"

"It's fine I'll pay for what her insurance doesn't cover."

"Are you sure, Sir?"

"Yeah." I nod.

I dared her to jump, so this is my fault, the least I could do is cover this for her.

"Ok, just go up to the front desk and tell them your paying for Akoya Kailani." He looks back down at his clipboard and walks away.

I walk towards the kiosk and tell them I'm paying for Ms.Kailani

"Not Mrs?" The woman behind the desk asks with an eyebrow raised.

"..No." I give a smile and take off my sunglasses.

She seems taken aback for a moment but gains her composure quickly.

I notice her sit up a bit more straight and she flips her long hair over her shoulder revealing some cleavage.

She tells me the amount but I'm too focused on trying not to focus on her.

I hand her my card and she hands me a receipt to sign.

I sign with confidence, knowing damn well I was a bit reluctant.

As soon as the next season of Frontier is released...

I mumble to myself.

I walk over back to her room and walk in to see her and Kale talking.

the first thing I noticed is her skin even redder but glistened over, probably with that ointment he prescribed.

Their conversation comes to a noticeable stop, but Kale picks it back up by saying..

"I'm just so glad you're okay Lani. I'll talk to you later."

He stands up from the chair at her bedside and makes his way out and gives me a quiet goodbye.

After he leaves the room I look at her.

I can't tell if she is red with embarrassment or just from the bruises.

"Just don't laugh." She says quietly sinking into the white sheets of the hospital bed.

"Hey," I start as I go and sit it the chair next to her bed.
"I'd never."
"That was my fault I shouldn't have dared you to do something that dangerous. I'm so sorry." I reach for her hand.
I feel even worse now that I see the effects of what I caused.

The heart rate on the monitor picks up.

We both look at it, she makes a double take and then pulls her hand away.

"Sorry, again," I say trying to hold back a chuckle.

"Whatever, I'll be fine. You can leave now."
She says as she starts to pull the covers back and get out of bed.

"Someone has got to take you home, and uh.."
I reach into the brown bag the doctor handed me and pull out what's inside.
"Rub this all over your bo-- bruises," I say, now smirking.

She just looks at me, giving a look that could almost kill.

"Kale has already left, so if you want to call him then—."

"Nevermind, fine." She interrupts, I could tell she was more irritated with him than me.

"Just let me put some clothes on." She stands up out of the bed and walks towards the bathroom.

"One more thing," I said stopping her.

"What now?" She turns only her head to face me.

"Nice ass," I say my eyes flash between her face and the very revealing hospital gown.

"Whatever." She says slightly irritated, but with a stifled laugh as she pulls the back out the gown closed and the goes into the bathroom and shuts the door behind her.

~

"Which one is it?" I ask my eye's squinting to see through the dark.

"The second to last drive-way."

I pull into the driveway of her home.

"Oh, look at you.." I say refrain from showing too much of my awe at her house.

"What do you do for a living?" I turn to her as I turn the car off.

"I'm an author." She says but in a blunt tone.

The pain must be settling in.

I get out of the car and help her out of the passenger side.

I walk her to her front door and she fumbles for her keys.

She finally opens the door and I help her inside.

"Wow, it's even better inside." I look around as I set her down on the nearest couch.

She sighs in relief and slumps onto the couch.

"I need some grindz."

"When is the last time you ate?" I ask her.

"Probably on the bus on the way up the mountain." She says.

"Well I'd cook but I don't want to intrude," I say smugly.

"But I make a mean Loco Poco," I add.

"You have my permission, just make me some food." She throws her head back, as she starts looking at her phone.

I go into the kitchen and make what I can with the ingredients she has.

This woman has 2 eggs in her refrigerator, she eats like a bird.

After some time of trial and error of figuring out where things are I finally come out with food.

She takes the plate hastily

"No fork?"

"Sorry." I jog back and forth from the kitchen to grab her a fork.

I plop down onto the couch next to her.

She winces in pain.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt you," I said straightening up

"It's fine, it's just really sore.." She gives a reassuring smile.

"I'll put on the ointment as soon as your done. Where's the lua?" I ask, the sooner I put that on her the sooner I can get out of her hair.

"Ok, but I'll shower first."

"Down the hall on the left." She points with her fork and then returns to eating.

"Shower? You want that hard water hitting your sensitive skin?" I remind her.

"Your right. Then I'll bathe." She says sheepishly.

I give myself a quick wash up and I grab my spare clothes out of my car. Luckily I was smart enough to bring them when I left out this morning.

I check my breath and walk out.

"I was done 5 minutes ago, what were you doing?" She teases.

I smile.

"Just decided to have a change of wardrobe." I notice as she did the same.

"Whatever, just help me into the bath."

Gladly.

"Okay."

I helped her into her room and started a bath.

She insisted I leave the room and I did and after 20 minutes she called me back into the room.

"Are you decent?" I asked as I crept in.

"If I wasn't, I wouldn't have shouted for you." She says as a matter-of-factly.

She wore a bikini and walked over slowly to her bed.

before she got there I went up to her and helped her there.

"After you rub this on me your leaving right?"

"Yeah."

"Wait, Why can't I do this myself again?"

"You'll see." I pull the small brown bag out of my deep pockets and pull out the jar.

I open the lid and smell what's inside.

"What does it smell like?" She asks.

I bring it to her face and she takes a whiff.

It smelled like medicine, not terrible but not great either.

I dipped my middle and ring fingers into the jar and scooped out some of it.

She was laying down on the bed and I was standing next to the bed, almost hovering over her.

She looked up at me expectingly.

I started on her stomach.

She winces a little bit at my initial touch. Probably because this stuff was kind of cold.

I rub it in circles around her belly button, getting wider each time until I eventually covered her whole stomach with it.

She groans in pain.

I massaged it in gently and then moved down to her upper thighs.

"I'm trying to be gentle," I say with a tone that shows I feel sorry for her.

I ran my hands from her stomach down to her upper thigh so I could bring some of the product down from there without reaching into the jar again.

As my hands get closer and closer to between her legs I glance at her face.

Her eyes are clenched as if she is in pain.

I stop and reach into the jar again.

I can see through her thin bikini top that her nipples are hard.

It must be really cold in here.

I go to her chest next. I rub it in avoiding her breasts as much as possible.

I didn't want it to seem like I was feeling her up while she is vulnerable and in pain.

I then rub my hands from her chest to her cheeks.

Gently rubbing it in trying to cause the least amount of pain possible.

After every slightly blushed and purple part of her body is shiny with the ointment I say..

"That should be enough for today," I say as I rub the ointment into my hands and back away a step.

She finally opens her eyes and she looks at me.

a look that almost looks frustrated but, I know she is in pain so it must be that.

"Mahalo." She sighs out.

"No problem. This was my fault after all." I say leaning on her doorframe.

She chuckles and turns her head towards the ceiling.

"Have a good night, Mr. Jason Momoa. Drive safe." She turns over slowly.

"Good night Ms. Akoya Kailani," I smirk and turn the light out and closed her bedroom door behind me.
