When Butterflies dream of Tomorrow

A ballet

On the wind

With no rhyme or reason

A dance

Of freedom

For the start of the season

Tomb encased

Now set free

Rainbow takes to wing

Soul released

To fly on gusts

To hear the angels sing

To be so free

A distant dream

On silken wings it flies

Escapes me now

And disappears

As I silent, cry

My fate sealed

To Earth bound remain

To bask in my sorrow

Until the day

When butterflies

Dream of tomorrow
