To make her Mine

In a moment of quiet solitude

He ponders what he said

Had he given himself too easily?

How did she get inside his head?

He had told her that he loved her

Then wondered, is this what I feel

Or am I overwhelmed by emotion

I wish I knew what was real

He smiled as he thought of her

The precious moments they had shared

He brushed a tear from his cheek

And wished that she was here

Just to see her beautiful smile

Touch her lightly on the face

Taste her lips gently on his

Feel the feeling of his heart race

Please tell me what this is

Is this love or something else?

I need to know just how she feels

Before I lose myself

Just to have ten minutes

Of her here by my side

I would give all there is to give

Just to make her mine
