"The others? Do you mean your team and Yamato?"

"Yes... apparently, they have a lead on something concerning one of Sasori's spies. I know Yamato is capable of leading them, but it's just... a have a feeling that Naruto will come back devastated..."

You smiled and made Kakashi look at you, which followed a kiss. Kakashi's eyes widened as you pulled away and continued to smile.

"Even if Naruto fails or is devastated by this mission he's on, I know as his sensei, you'll be there to push him forward and motivate him to work harder. I know that I'll damn sure be there to beat his ass out of devastation. It's just what we do, or am I wrong?"

Kakashi smiled and held your cheek.

But as Kakashi looked around for the ninja he threw the Shuriken, Madara emerged from the ground with a kunai in his hand, preparing to stab Kakashi. Kakashi noticed too late and was wounded as he backed away. He lost all feeling in his right arm due to the wound and blood loss and dropped down to one knee. His arm, dripping with blood, dropped the kunai he had in his hand. Kakashi was panting as his vision doubled.

"My, Kakashi. You did exactly what I knew you would do." Madara chuckled as Zetsu and two other men appeared behind him.

"Y-you... what are you talking about." Kakashi grunted as he tried to keep consciousness before his enemies.

"You got out of your little disguise and tried to follow (Name). I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I'm afraid things won't go as planned for your mission." Madara grinned under his mask. Kakashi slowly got up and stood on his two feet. He felt lightheaded and sharp pain from the wound.

"Did he have poison on his Kunai? Where's Sakura when you need a medic." Kakashi thought to himself as he dropped an antidote down his right sleeve and caught it, slowly injecting it into his palm without the enemy noticing. Well, everyone but Madara did not notice.

"Do you honestly think you can fight against us? You're outnumbered!" One of the men said. Zetsu only sighed in disappointment from the man's stupidity as Kakashi and Madara activated their Sharingan at the same time. The other guy jumped and threw more Shuriken at Kakashi. They hit Kakashi and set him flying, giving the man confidence.

"You imbecile." Madara said as he and Zetsu disappeared. The two men were confused until Kakashi performed the substitution jutsu and was behind them in the air with lighting blade in hand. Kakashi struck them both, only leaving them electrocuted and unconscious. Smoke raised from the two men after they screamed from the shock and fell over.

"Two down..." Kakashi said while panting. But then he looked around for Madara and Zetsu. He looked left, right, up and found nothing. Which meant the only place left to check was below. So Kakashi jumped in the air to see if he could spot him with his Sharingan, but he couldn't sense him at all.

"He's gone... I have to find (Name) before it's too late.." he groaned as he dropped onto his knee and started patching up his wound.

~ To (Name) ~

You waited in an alley for Toru to show up to start the investigation. It was already 15 minutes past midnight and you began to wonder about what Kakashi said earlier about not trusting Toru. The more you thought about it the more it made sense, in some ways he was very suspicious and shady. You looked up to the sky full of stars, staring directly into the beautifully bright full moon.

"What if he was right..."

"Who, my dear (Name)." You jumped and watched as a mask emerged from the shadows of alley. Not just any mask, but Madara's mask. Your eyes widened as you stepped back, running into Zetsu who grabbed your arms and covered your mouth as his vines wrapped around you. You were scared just to see Madara approaching you. All of your fears of seeing him again and possibly trying to kill you was shown in your eyes. Madara only chuckled as he watched you try to break free.

"It's pointless to try and escape, (Name). Have a nice nap." Madara chuckles as Zetsu knocked you out and put you over his shoulder.

"Are we actually going to hand her over to Toru?" Zetsu asked. Madara chuckled and turned around.

"No we aren't actually handing her over to that idiot, but we will play along with his little game for now."
