~ In the morning ~

You woke up early this morning to find Kakashi close to you and his arms wrapped around your waist. You smiled and carefully slipped out of his grasp to get ready for the day. As you closed the door behind you, Kakashi slowly awakened from his much needed sleep.

Kakashi was stretching while at the same time searching for you with his hand. When he didn't feel you, he looked over and sighed.

"Did she already leave..?"

"Hey Kashi, do you have any more shampoo?" Kakashi turned his head to find you wearing only a towel. He didn't have his mask on so it was very easy to notice he was blushing like hell. Then his blushing got worse as he covered his manhood. You, a common family trait shared with Naruto, were clueless as to why Kakashi was acting the way he did.

"(N-Name)! You caught me off guard." Kakashi said while sweat dropping. He seemed tense so you got near him and got really close to his face.

"I caught you off guard? That's a first. You alright? You're red." You placed your hand on his forehead. Kakashi was trying to contain himself, but his strength was weakening. It didn't help him that your towel was loose. Kakashi cursed under his breathe, got out of bed, and picked you up.

"K-Kakashi?! What are you doing, put me down!" You said flustered as you realized Kakashi was carrying you to the bathroom.

"I'm gonna take a very long shower. So it looks like I'll be late to work today." Kakashi smirked as he closed the door behind him.

(TOO EARLY FOR A LEMON! SORRY!)

~ Time Skip ~

Kakashi, smiling and energized, put on his shirt and looked behind him to find you dressing in your normal non-ninja wear. You weren't expecting Kakashi to have any sex with you after last night, but you guessed that you overthought the situation.

You felt his hands wrap around your waist and him kissing your cheek. You had such a bright smile, it soothed Kakashi that he got to see his favorite smile.

"You're as beautiful as ever, (Name). If anything, your beauty has increased over the years." Kakashi said as he rested his head on your shoulder. You gave him a closed-eye smile while continuing to put the finishing touches on your outfit.

"You're such a sweet talker, but thank you Kashi-kun." You said as you spun around and hugged him. He chuckled as you backed away.

"Kashi-kun? That's new."

"Well I think the whole concept of pet names is cute and all, but just isn't suited for me. So I'd rather just give you a nickname I can remember." You walked past Kakashi to the dresser and grabbed his headband and mask.

"Alright, seems fair. For me, I'd rather just call you (Name)." Kakashi says as he gets near you again. You turned around and handed his mask to him.

"Why just (Name)?" You looked at Kakashi questionably as he puts his mask on but still holding the end of it so his lips aren't covered.

"Because I like your name. I don't feel like it's necessary to give you a nickname when you already have an amazing name." Your raised your eyebrow while smiling at Kakashi.

Since it looked like you didn't believe him, he lowered his mask, leaned in close to you, and softly kissed you. You kissed back and wrapped your arms around his neck. The kiss wasn't that long but it still felt great to be able to kiss him since you've been gone for so long. You broke the kiss and pulled Kakashi's mask over his lips.

"Alright, you really have to go now if you wanna make it in time for that meeting with Tsunade and your squad. I refuse to be one of your reasons on why you're always late to work." You said while putting on his headband and moving it to an angle where it covers his left eye just how he likes it. Then, you placed your hand on his cheek and just stood there smiling at each other. Kakashi grabbed your hand and kissed it. You had a small blush as you grinned at Kakashi.

"Will you be home when I get back?" Kakashi asks while still holding your hand. You frowned for a second but smiled again.

"I can't make any promises but I should be home for the rest of the week. As long as Tsunade doesn't send me anywhere, I'll be home." You said while going on your toes to move Kakashi's headband to reveal his forehead. You kissed his forehead then placed his headband back into its original position.

"I'll see you later okay?" You smiled again at Kakashi and gave him a hug.

"Yeah, see you later (Name)." Kakashi replied back before releasing you from his embrace. You smiled at him one last time before you left the room, put on your shoes, and left the house. Kakashi's smile slowly faded into a frown.

"Guy was right... Maybe I do need to settle this and propose. At least before you go off and leave me for who knows how long again..."

~ To you ~

"I just don't know what to do.." you said as you sat on Kurenai's couch. She was next to you with a cup of tea.

"Well I think you should do what's best for you. If you think your job as a ninja is making you suffer than by all means retire, but if you love what you do then why stop?" Kurenai says while placing her tea down on the coffee table.

"The only reason I'm considering this is because my... mission is keeping me away from Kakashi and Naruto. I'm missing out on their lives and it sucks. But I do love being a ninja. That's why I'm so torn about this situation." You said while falling back against the couch. Kurenai sighed.

"Maybe you should give yourself more time to think about this. Besides, you won't be able to retire without finishing your mission. Does Kakashi know anything about this?" Kurenai asked while raising her eyebrow. You covered your face before responding.

"He doesn't know any details about it... and I want to keep it that way."

"How come? I mean I barely know anything myself except for the fact it involves your mother." You sighed and looked at Kurenai.

"My mission is to investigate a group of criminals called Ketsueki Gyangu(Blood gang I guess) that used to hunt my mother and are trying to recreate the experiments that were done on her. My mother almost annihilated the group before, but she couldn't bring herself to finish the job. Lady Mizukage requested that I take on this mission mainly because she thinks it can help me in a way get to know my mother. Not to mention that they keep making threats towards the Mist, so I guess she'd appreciate it if I got rid of them."

"Is it alright for you to be telling me this?" A concerned expression appeared on Kurenai's face. You shrugged.

"It isn't but I'm only telling you because you're my friend. I trust you'll keep this to yourself." You said while getting up from the couch. Kurenai got up as well and hugged you.

"I promise to keep this a secret." You looked at Kurenai stunned. Then you smiled and returned the hug.

"Thank you."

~ Unknown Hideout ~

Kyokan was standing dead center in an open space surrounded by thugs who thought they were dangerous but were actually low class criminals. Kyokan scoffed as one winked at her.

"I would like to make a deal with your organization. I'll give you valuable information in exchange for a specific woman." Kyokan said as she threw a picture to a man sitting on a skull-like throne. The man smirked as he saw the picture was actually you. Kyokan could not identify the appearance of the leader due to him hiding in the darkness but knew not to mess with him, an S-class rogue ninja.

"Why I thought my favorite toy Hikari was dead?" He smirked as he licked his lips.

"She is dead. That's her daughter (Name). I'll give you the data you have longed for ever since you discovered Hikairi in exchange for her. Do we have a deal?" She said with a resting bitch face.

"Now why would I need your information when I can just take (Name) for myself and just kill you?" The men laugh as their boss chuckled. Kyokan rolled her eyes and sighed.

"Because she isn't the same as Hikairi, rather she does not have the potential that Hikairi had when she was alive. The perfect specimen due to her body's quick adaption to the experiments done to her. I can give you Hikairi's information, including blood samples as well. (Name) is just a empty shell that possesses what once used to belong to her mother. So do we have a deal?" Kyokan was annoyed. The leader chuckled one last time before responding to Kyokan.

"Alright, Kyokan. You have a deal." The leader snapped as a sign to one of the men to show Kyokan out. As Kyokan got near the door, the leader spoke.

"Don't forget to say hello to Orochimaru for me on your way back." Kyokan's eyes widened but she never looked back to him. She smirked as she continued to walk out. Her instincts told her that little kitty was definitely gonna pay for what she did in their last battle. As Kyokan left the room, the leader started laughing hysterically. The men were confused and didn't laugh, they just stared at him.

"To think I'd  ever get a chance like this! Ha! Amazing! If I couldn't have you Hikairi, then you leave me no choice but to go after little (Name). Who knows maybe she's better than you."
