~ Time Skip ~

You were relaxing in your home, eating some Ichiraku ramen Naruto had brought you from visiting. Looking back, Naruto was excited when he heard he was going to be an uncle! He went as far as swearing he'd take care of your baby in the future. You chuckled at the thought of Naruto playing with your kid as you rubbed your small baby bump.

"I can already tell... you're gonna change many things when you grow up..." you thought to yourself. As you were about to get up and grab a drink, a ball of smoke suddenly appeared. You already knew who it was just by that entrance.

"My dear (Name), is it true?! Am I gonna be a grandpa?!" Jiraiya said as he was trying to make a cool entrance. You sweated dropped but then smiled.

"Well, I don't know about grandpa but yes, I'm pregnant." You said as you got up and hugged your sensei. He lifted you up during the hug and was laughing. As he set you down, he stopped to look at you. You were confused as to what he was thinking.

"What? Why are you looking at me like that?"

"It's just that... you're gonna be parents. You and Kakashi. Do you know what this means?" He said with a serious expression. You were worried and shook your head no.

"You're gonna get fat- oof!" You punched Jiraiya the moment he said fat. You were mad as he almost had you worried. You sighed as you still had a tick mark. Jiraiya held his swollen cheek as tears fell.

"I deserved that. But really, all jokes aside, your enemies will find out about this sooner or later." Jiraiya said with a serious expression. You looked away as you nearly forgot about what recently happened with the Akatsuki. Now more than ever, you're vulnerable to them. You can't fight because it's too dangerous to risk with you carrying a baby. You knew this is what probably made Kakashi serious as he left urgently to Tsunade this morning.

"I know... but what am I supposed to do... I can't just abandon everything and leave. What about Naruto and the others? Kakashi? I refuse to leave now when we know the Akatsuki is coming after Naruto." You said with frustration. Jiraiya sighed, grabbed your shoulders and reversed summoned you to Mount Myoboku. You looked around as you were in a different setting than you were used to. Then you saw a huge toad that was twice the size of boss toad in front of you along with Fukasaku and Shima.

"Ah... who're you?" Said the huge toad, everyone sweat dropped in response.

"This is Uzumaki Tora (Name), you told me you needed to speak urgently with her." Jiraiya said as he scratched his head. You then noticed that the huge toad in front of you was the Great Elder sage Gamamura that gave Jiraiya the prophecy he told you about.

"Oh, now I remember... now that you are going to be a mother, I can finally tell you your prophecy."

(Name) blinked a couple times. She didn't realize she was special enough to have one but the master says otherwise.

"Hold up, why didn't you tell me before about this? Her prophecy could be related to the child of prophe-"

"We can assure you that they aren't, Jiraiya-boy." Fukasaku interrupted.

Your mind was spinning. Your prophecy? All of it was confusing and didn't make sense one bit. What you wanted to know was what it had to do with your baby.

"Sorry, I don't mean to be rude and interrupt, but what's so important about my prophecy? What does it have to do with my baby?"

"At some point in the future, you will be faced with a very difficult decision that will decide that fate of your firstborn child."

You gave Jiraiya a confused and scared expression. Jiraiya hugged you knowing well you were getting anxious. He was frustrated himself once again by the Great Elder Toad's vagueness.

"What kind of decision?" Jiraiya spoke for you. This was beginning to feel like too much. You had only just found out you were a couple weeks pregnant and now suddenly you have to decide that fate of your baby?!

"That is yet to be known, however... depending on your decision, your child will either bring destruction from his deep desire of vengeance or become a guide for the next generation and bring them much-needed wisdom for their salvation."

You had the biggest poker face on of your life. Jiraiya tried practicing deep breaths with you to calm your nerves but you were already pushed off the edge.

"WHAT?! WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY DESTRUCTION?! THE BABY ISN'T EVEN BORN YET AND MY DECISION WILL AFFECT WHAT HAPPENS TO MY CHILD?! THAT'S TOO VAGUE! THAT IS BASICALLY PARENTHOOD IN GENERAL! I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF MY BABY'S A BOY OR A GIRL YET!!!!!!"

"Calm down!" Yelled Shima before she slapped (Name). You cried as you rubbed your cheek.

"I understand your anxiety but you must calm down. You can't be like this when you raise your child, and you cannot get paranoid either! You must be strong."

You nodded as you smiled at Shima for calming your nerves a little bit.

"Besides, this won't be your first time raising a child. Don't forget you raised Naruto!" Jiraiya said while smiling, hoping his efforts were enough to cheer you up. You nodded but sighed.

"The only difference is that this is my kid, not my brother... and that's scary. And if what you're telling me is true, then I have to be even more cautious about any decision I ever make about my child... I'm already getting gray hairs just thinking about it..."

Jiraiya grabbed your shoulders again and made you face him. He had a serious expression and sighed.

"Look, I know I'm the last person to give you advice about something like this, but you're doubting yourself. And it's time I knock some self-confidence into that brain of yours."

You looked confused as Jiraiya walked past you to the Elder toad. He bowed then smiled.

"Well if that's all you had to say, I think I'll take care of it from here."

"Take this seriously, Jiraiya-boy." Fukasaku said as he frowned at Jiraiya.

"Don't worry I got this! I'm basically her father figure!" Jiraiya boasted while laughing, you grabbed your shoe and threw it at Jiraiya's head.

"Ow! Hey! Respect your father, young lady!" A huge bump swelled up as he rubbed it.

"As if! You baka pervy old bastard!"

~ Somewhere else in Mount Myoboku ~

You and Jiraiya were sitting near a tree near the lake as you watched the sunset on Mount Myoboku. This was one of Jiraiya's favorite places to write because it gave him inspiration. You both sat quietly, enjoying the burgundy red sky, becoming one with everything. Jiraiya looked over to you and saw you with a sad smile. He sighed and put his hand on your head. You looked over to him with a shocked expression.

"Sensei?"

"Stop worrying so much, (Name). The more you worry, the less you experience life. You don't wanna miss your son grow up because you're too focused on this prophecy."

You laughed and gave Jiraiya a sarcastic grin.

"Son? What makes you so sure it's a boy?"

Jiraiya turned his attention back to the sunset and chuckled.

"Let's just say... I'm willing to take the chance and say that baby's a boy..."

A soft breeze hit the both of you as you watched your sensei smile towards the sunset. You were confused because of this setting. It gave you a sad feeling... almost as if you were saying... goodbye.

"Sensei... are you okay? You sound different than usual..."

"Do me a favor, (Name)."

You paused as he neglected your question.

"I already spoke to Tsunade and Naruto. But in case you don't hear from me again... bring Naruto here and help teach him the ways of sage art." Jiraiya said in a serious tone. Your eyes widened as you realized what was happening.

"Your investigation on the Akatsuki leader..."

"Don't you worry about it! You need to be healthy and relaxed remember! I'm going to come back, I already placed a bet with Tsunade and you already know how bad she is at gambling!" Jiraiya said while laughing. You tried to smile for your sensei but it was hard.

"Geez will you lighten up! I'm only going to investigate that's all!"

"Promise me... you'll come back?"

There was a pause as Jiraiya looked at you. You had tears forming in your eyes as you tried to smile. Jiraiya grinned and ruffled your hair.

"There's no need for that, you know as well as anyone no one can get rid of the Legendary Toad Sage Jiraiya so easily!" Jiraiya spoke while laughing, still ruffling your hair. You pouted then looked up to see Jiraiya smiling.

"You'll be a great mother, (Name). I'll always believe in you... the both of you. You and Naruto are my students after all!"

You quickly hugged Jiraiya and buried your face in his chest. You started crying, and Jiraiya sighed while rubbing your back.

"Make me proud, kiddo..."

You pulled away and wiped your tears. You gave Jiraiya a determined expression and nodded.

"I promise!"

~ Time Skip ~

You sat by your window and let the cool breeze hit your face. You've been thinking too much everything going around and worrying about your baby's well-being. You sighed as you rubbed your stomach.

"You alright?"

You looked up to see Kakashi entering the house and taking off his shoes. You smiled as he approached and gave you a kiss.

"I'm okay... just worrying and thinking I got pregnant way too early..."

Kakashi grabbed a chair and sat beside you while resting his hand on your stomach. You looked at him with a sad expression as he kissed your forehead.

"I'll admit the timing was not well planned, but why does that bother you now, (Name)? You were happy before, what changed?"

"Something bad is gonna happen... Everyone is out there, risking themselves to the Akatsuki for my sake along with Naruto's and I'm just here. Doing absolutely nothing. I feel useless... I just wish there was something I could do..."

Kakashi sighed as understood how you felt. He felt the same way when you were out on secret missions and he could do anything but hope you were safe.

"I get how you feel, but you've already done so much. It's time that you just relax and rely on others to finish the work you started. Just so you can stay here and make sure our baby is healthy."

(Name) nodded and sighed. You knew Kakashi was right but you still felt like there was more for you to do. Then you saw a crow fly in the sky, and it wasn't just any crow. Kakashi looked at you, confused at what you were looking at. You turned back to Kakashi.

"Are you leaving soon?"

"Unfortunately, yes. We finally got a lead on Sasuke. If we don't go after him, who knows when we will ever catch up to him."

"I get it. Make sure Naruto doesn't bring himself down during this mission.Unfortunately I can't see you off, I have to go out and do some errands so I'll see you when you get back, okay?"

"Oh, okay. Was hoping I could spend a bit more time with you."

Kakashi smirked as he was giving you kisses on your neck to your cheek. (Name) giggled as he did. You don't spend a lot of time together so moments like this one was always nice. As you both calmed down, Kakashi lovingly caressed your face and leaned in for a kiss. Your lips softly touched Kakashi's, making you flustered. You blushed as you continued to kiss Kakashi slowly and passionately. You both pulled away for air and smiled at each other.

"Stay safe... That masked-man is still out there... be careful because he likes to put up this ridiculous act in front of others. Plus, he hasn't been going all out in our previous battles so he might have some tricks up his sleeve. And-"

"Thank you. I'll be fine. I promise I'll do everything in my power to bring back Sasuke."

You smiled at Kakashi as you gave him one last hug and kiss before leaving the house. Kakashi watched you as you left through the door and sighed.

~ To (Name) ~

You were walking in the forest near the atraining grounds, with the crow you saw earlier on your shoulder. It was Itachi's crow, which he would only send out if he really needs to get in contact with you. As soon as you were far enough from both the village and training ground, you bit your thumb and caused it to start bleeding to start your summoning jutsu.

"Summoning no jutsu!"

Poof!

The dust cleared to reveal a stunned Kimi. You knew that using ninjutsu could cause you to overexert yourself and may be harmful to the baby, but it was necessary if you wanted to speak with Itachi without interruptions.

"(Name)-Chan, you know you can't perform any jutsu with your current health! This could be harmful!"

"Yeah I know, but what I have to do is extremely important otherwise I wouldn't have taken the risk of summoning you."

Kimi questionably looked at you. She sighed as she gave in, knowing that it must be serious since she hasn't summoned her since she was told she was pregnant.

"Fine, what do you need that's so important?"

"I need you to transform into me and stay in the village so no one suspects I'm gone."

"Ehh?! Why?! Where are you going?!" Kimi said in a panic. You stepping outside the village is extremely dangerous since it could leave you vulnerable to anyone you encounter.

"Do you have any idea how dangerous that is?! Is pregnancy making you lose your common sense?!"

"Hey calm down I'm not going that far away, I have to meet with my informant. He summoned me which is more than enough of a reason to do this." You said while giving Kimi a serious expression. She sighed and made a clone. The clone had transformed into you as the real Kimi jumped into your hands.

"Fine, but I'm going with you for protection. No way am I leaving you by yourself!"

You sighed but laughed as you snuggled Kimi. The crow had cawed again but with more distress than before.

"Okay, no time to waste. Go back to the village and at least look like you're doing errands or something."

"Got it!" The clone said as she walked away back towards the village. You sighed then began making your way toward the rendezvous point you and Itachi always meet up.

~ Rendezvous point ~

Itachi was sitting on a rock by a small fire, deep within a cave. He exhaled but then started coughing. He saw, with his already blurred vision, blood on the palm of his hand.

"Tch. Where is she? I'm running out of time... Sasuke's is gonna start searching for me soon.." Itachi thought to himself as he wiped the blood off his hand.

Suddenly, he sensed something with a large amount of chakra speeding its way towards him. He got up quickly and got into his battle stance. He sweatdropped as soon as it stepped into the light from the fire. It was just Kimi, excited to see Itachi.

"Thank goodness it's just you Itachi! I should've known it was you!" Kimi said as she jumped towards him. Itachi smiled slightly as he pet Kimi.

"Kimi, you look well."

"Unlike you, who looks like he's near deaths doorstep."

Itachi looked up and had a shocked expression as he saw you walk in. Ever since you last saw each other a couple months back when he rescued you, you haven't been able to contact him. So this was technically a very shocking surprise to see you pregnant.

"(Name)-san, I had no idea you were pregnant... if I had I would've never called you out here so urgently." Itachi said with a concerned expression as he helped you sit down. You chuckled as Itachi sat beside you. It was rare to get such an expression out of him.

"Well, it's partially my fault for not contacting you sooner with the news. But it's even more dangerous for you to be seeking me out, especially at a time like this where the Akatsuki is making their move on us." Itachi had returned to his normal expression and nodded.

"Precisely why we should make this quick."

"Why?"

"Sasuke is looking for me... my end is nearing (Name)-san." Itachi said while keeping his eyes closed. As he noticed you stayed silent, he opened his eyes and saw tears falling from your eyes. You quickly hugged Itachi and let out all your tears. First, potentially saying goodbye to your sensei and now actually having your last meeting with Itachi. It was all too much for you but you couldn't show your feelings back home.

"(Name)-san... it's okay, we both knew that this moment was going to come eventually. I came to at least let you know what was happening and that the majority of the Bijuu have been collected. The Rokubi, Hachibi, and Kyuubi are the only ones left."

You stayed silent, hating every second of this moment. Itachi sighed, knowing you were hoping things would turn out different.

"Either way, I'm dying..."

"Why... Why does it have to be you that always has to carry a heavy burden rather than living the life you deserve..."

Itachi smiled a little and returned the hug while rubbing your back. You always watched over him, guided him, cared for him, and overall was a light to his already dark world.

"(Name)-san... If I had the chance to go back to the moment before I took this dark path, I would use it and would have done things differently... but it's too late for me. To my last dying breath, I'll make sure that I leave alternative methods to ensure that Sasuke returns to the Leaf and... that I apologize to him..." Itachi frowned as he said those words. You looked up to see his frown. You pulled away and wiped your tears. Itachi sighed but then reached his hand out towards you. He poked your forehead with his middle and index finger and smiled at you.

"At least, I can leave knowing that you had always believed in me... Thank you, (Name)." Itachi said before he helped you up and walked towards the exit of the cave. You bit your lip as you clenched your fist.

"You'll always be a hero to me Itachi! I promise that I'll continue to protect everything you leave behind. Both Sasuke and the village! Your legacy!" (Name) yelled out to him with crying even more tears. Itachi stopped and looked back to you as one tear fell from his face.

"Goodbye, (Name)..."

Suddenly Itachi disappears as crows scattered towards the outside. Kimi jumped into your arms, trying to comfort you. You exhaled as you wiped your red puffy eyes.

"(Name)-Chan..."

"Y-Yes, Kimi?"

"Kakashi's group left just now... My clone spotted them at the front gates..."

You started waking out the cave as you had a blank, empty expression. When you got outside, the sunlight was shining on you.

"I can only hope that the future doesn't bring any more tragedies upon everyone I love..."

As you started walking back, a strong breeze hit you, causing you to cover your face. Suddenly, you felt someone grab your shoulder. You turned around to see no one there. Kimi looked up to see you with fear in your eyes.

"Jiraiya... sensei..."

A/N: sorry for the delay! I accidentally posted the chapter and took it back down to finish editing. I'm sorry for those who got the notification and got upset about it. No it wasn't a glitch, I literally was reading through for mistakes as my dog jumped on me and made me press publish chapter 😅.
