The night of the party. Armin and Eren are ontheir way to pick up Kirsty and Mikasa. The party has been set in the dining Hall of the survey corps head quarters and had been paid for by the last of Grisha's money that he'd saved up from working as a doctor. Eren had inherited all of his father's earnings when it was eventually discovered that Erens father was in fact dead. He decided to spend this money on a party to remember Levi as the hero he was. He was inviting everyone in the survey corps and Garrison, and Erwin had a special request to invite Nile Dock as they were old friends after all, and Erwin still had a certain extent of respect for him.

Armins P.O.V

I'm so nervous, I'm sweating like a pig. Great, she's going to look beautiful and I'm going to look like I just went swimming! She's going to be embarrassed to be seen with me. I bet she's embarrassed to be seen with me anyway, I bet she was just trying to be nice before. Besides, nobody would love me anyway. I'm just the book nerd that no one cats about. Too shy to even talk to anyone. SHE PROBABLY HATES ME! AAARRGGG THIS IS DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!

"Hey Armin, look at the road man stop looking at the sky."

"Sorry"

"My god Armin, there's a reason you sit on top of the horse Armin. It can't ride itself. It doesn't just know where to go. "

"Okay, okay... I'm just a little nervous, what with seeing Kirsty."

"Well don't be. She's very lucky you're taking her to the party. Besides, you two are perfect for each other. You'll be fine."

"Yeah, or so you say.*sigh* I've just liked her for such a long time now and-"

"Hey guys!"

"Mikasa has always had the strongest set of pipes" Eren giggled, rubbing his fingers in his ears.

Faintly in the distance, Kirsty's voice could be heard. "Hey Armin"

"Aaaaawwww, she's quiet just like you." Eren said with that annoying little smirk on his face.

"Oh ha ha very funny Eren"

On the way there...

"So, e-er Kirsty, are you e-e-excited about t-t-tonight?"

Oh god Armin spit your words out. How could she understand you through all that stuttering? Man up and talk to her the way she deserves. She deserves a confident man who could streams up for her, a man who would fight away danger for her. Not me. I'm a pathetic excuse for a human. She deserves better than me.

"I'm so excited, a-are you?"

Even the way she stutters is adorable.

"E-erm y-yes, of course I am"

"Don't you think they're adorable?" Mikasa whispered in Erens ear, loud enough for us both to hear.

Armin looks over to her and his eyes shoot daggers into her soul and she stares away in the opposite direction, trying not to laugh.

"We're here...."

A/N sorry I haven't been updating lately guys. I shall update more often. By the way, the reason each part is so short is because it's still chapter 1. I've been giving you the next part of the first chapter so that I have more time to think about what to put next. I'll update soon guys.

P.S please give me critical feedback as I'd like to know how to improve. Don't just complain though, give me something useful as I am already fully aware that I'm a crappy writer and I don't need your comments to tell me that. But please, notes on how to improve would be great.
