He opened the door and his eyes went wide in terror.

Lucifer:.....Mammon.

Mammon did what his instincts told him upon seeing his older brother at the door.

*BANG*

He slammed it shut on Lucifer's face...

After that, he went into an full-on panic.

Mammon: (OH MY DIAVOLO! WHAT IS HE DOING HERE?! SHIT! SHIT! FUCK! NO! NO! NO! HE SHOULDN'T BE HERE!!! Is He...trying to make us all go back to HOL?)

That had to be the reason why he was here...

No. No! No! No! No! Mammon didn't want to go back! Not back there! He was finally turning his life around and yet... Lucifer comes back and ruins everything.

Satan: Mammon? What's wrong?

Beel: Who was at the door...?

Mammon: Ah...Lucifer....

Hearing the name of the eldest sent every brother present into a fury. Besides Mammon, they all transformed into their demon forms.

They don't care if they're in the Human Realm. Lucifer needs to go. He had caused so much trouble and so much emotional breakdowns for all of them! Especially to Mammon!

Belphie: *Cold* What is he doing here?

Levi: Tsk. What else would he be here for...to make us go back to Devildom...to the House of Lamentation.

Satan: So we can repair his reputation. Bullshit.

Asmo puts an hand on Mammon's shoulder trying to soothe his fear.

Asmo: Mammon. Leave him to us. You don't need to do anything, Dear Brother~!

Mammon was still in panic mode. What should he say?! What should he do?! Sure, he was still angry at Lucifer for what he did to him! But fuck! He was still scared of him...

Because whether he like it or not. Lucifer, himself, was still his biggest nightmare.

Just the thought of the first eldest made the scars on his back burn.

Before he could even respond, he heard Lucifer's voice on the other end of the door.

"I know you're all in there...I felt all of your powers spiked up. Please...just let me speak to Mammon."

Satan: Tsk! Why the hell should we?!!

Belphie: Haven't you already caused enough stress for all of us?!!

Levi: Y-Yeah...you maybe the first eldest but doesn't mean we have to do what you say!

Beel: You don't have the right to be here...

Asmo: Mhm. You're not welcome here. I advise you to leave right now...or we'll make you.

Mammon felt Lucifer's aura turn black. Shit. He's mad...

Lucifer: Yare Yare...I would like to see you all try.

Fuck! If Mammon doesn't do something. There's going to be a nasty fight! Then humans nearby will know know what's going on and they'll be screwed!!! 

Running out of the options, Mammon knew he had no choice but to do this....

Mammon:....Guys. Let him in.

The brothers all gasped and turned at him in shock and bewilderment.

Satan: Mammon! What are you saying?!

Beel: Mammon. I don't think that's a good idea.

Asmo: Yeah! Have you forgotten out of all of us...He done the most damage to you! He even admitted himself he doesn't care about you!

Belphie: We won't let him hurt you...not again...

He would be lying if he said his brothers being all protective of him wasn't cute...but now was not the time!!!

Mammon: I know...But...Just let him in. I...have words to say to him too.

The brothers all noticed he was putting on a brave face. Despite their protests and maybe aganist the better judgement.

Satan scoffed as Beel moves out of the way...

Asmo sighs before opening the door and Lucifer steps inside.

Every brother present were now glaring at him.

Lucifer:....It's good to see you're all well...

Belphie: ....No thanks to you.

Lucifer sighs. He didn't come this far just to start another argument. He needed to make amends and like everyone else, atone for his actions.

Lucifer: May I please speak with Mammon. Alone?

Mammon:....

The other brothers all growled in defense prepared to protect Mammon.

Mammon: Guys...It's fine.

That's a lie and they know it...but seeing the stubbornness on both the two eldest brothers faces.

Belphie: Ya know Mammon...it's not too late to join the Anti-Lucifer Squad with me and Satan.

Mammon glared at him.

Belphie:....Too Soon?

Lucifer rolled his eyes.

Satan huffed before looking back at Lucifer with an expression thar screamed hatred.

Satan: You got one hour.

The brothers all gave Lucifer and Mammon their space as they left into the other rooms.

Mammon:......

Lucifer:.......

This was very awkward. When was the last time these two ever spoke to each other...oh that's right, that very day at the student council meeting which was about almost a year ago.

Lucifer: I see you that you have accumulated yourself with an average lifestyle...

Mammon:.....Yeah. I decided to just start out something small.

Lucifer: Hmm...I was expecting you to live somewhere more...fancy....

Mammon: True. But I wanted to blend in with the crowd. Plus, I'm not Asmo whose spends most time wasting his life away at parties. 

He heard a small "hey" from the other room followed by multiple shut-ups from the other brothers.

Ah, so the little shits are still listening in their conversation. Nosy Bunch. Then again, Mammon is too.

Lucifer looked over at some photos nearby on the tables. They were pictures of Mammon and the human girl he adopted. They looked so happy together.

Lucifer: So this the young lady you acquired and espoused?

Mammon: Yep...Her name is Kanon. Sweet, Wonderful, Little Treasure she is. A fine diamond I managed to snatched up if I might say so myself...

Lucifer: I see...that's good...Where is she right now?

Mammon: At Purgatory Hall. She's spending the afternoon with Simeon & Luke. They wanted to teach her how to bake sweets.

Lucifer: Interesting...

Mammon: Hmph. Alright. Cut the stupid small talk crap. What are you here for, Lucifer? If this is an attempt to get me to go back to Devildom to fix yours and Diavolo's reputation. Forget it!

Lucifer: *Hopeful*...Yes.

Lucifer looked crushed hearing that but what did he expected. No way was Mammon going to welcome him back in his life after all he done.

Asmo in the other room went quiet while feeling embarrassed as the others glared at him still remembering that day.

Lucifer: Mammon...

Mammon: When the others indulge in their sins. You barely do a thing. So basically...telling me not to sin is stupid, Lucifer. We're demons. We fell from Heaven after that war and losing Lilith! We all have sinned with no regard for those around us!

Lucifer:....

He hated to admit it but he was right. True. Demons had sinned. But so have humans and angels. People were just under the mindset that it meant when demons do it. They didn't harbor any good within their hearts.

So telling a demon not to sin or indulge in it... Especially if you're the Avatar of that sin is like taking away someone's livelihood.

Mammon: I was not happy. I'm not having fun! I am not going to pretend anymore that nothing is wrong while you treat me this way! Being in the same room with you feels suffocating, I always want to bury myself alive, hide myself again where none of you can find me...I don't want to eat! I don't want to drink! Hearing that crushed Lucifer's heart...

Mammon's eyes went wide upon seeing it. At first, he thought Lucifer was going to hit him with it like he always does.

But to his surprise, Lucifer put the whip to Mammon's hand and then bowed down to him.

Something he never thought he would see in a million years.

Mammon: Lucifer...W-What are you-?!

Lucifer: My Dear Mammon...My sweet baby brother...I have forsaken you for years and took you for granted for the past centuries. I believe this is the only way to make up from my actions against you.

Mammon looked back at the whip before his eyes went wide in horror yet understanding.

Lucifer...he wants him to...

Lucifer: Mammon... Please Punish Me...Use Me & Break Me Down As You See Fit.
