''SHE FUCKING DID WHAT!?!??!!?'' Michael couldn't help but growl in both shock and anger. Sarah had asked a nerd to the ''Start of the year dance'' ????
Kyle had come running to him not too long ago, informing him about the little feud that occurred in the cafeteria a few minutes ago. Michael had listened with eyes wide like a saucer, Absolutely stunned.
''Yeah Bro! Imma not Lying! She literally shouted at Carlos. At Carl ! 'The tough football player!' She somehow even got him saying sorry. All because he just said something about the nerd.'' Kyle said raising his arms in a manner which meant 'What's the big deal about insulting a nerd?''
''Which nerd?'' Michael asked impatiently.
''I don't remember his name...something like Jam and Roseground?'' Kyle made a confused face.
''Jamie Rosefield?'' Michael asked. He knew this guy, the guy who scores highest in his Maths class.
''Yeah maybe'' Kyle agreed.
''So you mean to tell me: Sarah Carson, the new hot girl every boy drools over, Is friends with this old nerd Jamie Rosefield, and asked him to the dance, even though I had already given her signals clearly meaning that I am interested in her?'' Michael tried to place the whole story in a straight line.
Does this mean she fucking reject-
NO.
No one has the worth to reject him. His eyes blazed with anger and he fisted his hands. Walking to the cafeteria, he saw Jamie coming out of it. Just as he came near them, Michael grabbed his arm, Tightly.
"So nerdddd...'' He dragged the word a bit loudly, enough to make a few people stop and look. "I heard that you are getting along nicely with the new people these days.''
''I am not a- Leave that. Is there any problem with that?'' Jamie asked as calmly as possible with Michael literally digging holes into his arm with his sharp hold.
''Not necessarily, but if you are getting along with Sarah then there is.'' He spat.
''I-I don't know what you mean.'' the boy muttered now with a little fear flashing in his eyes.
''Don't play innocent with me! you know I can beat you to a pulp right here and now. What did you do to have her ask you for the dance?'' Michael asked lowly.
''N-nothing...I didn't even knew she was gonna ask me. S-She asked me. I said nothing! I swear to God. I have no hand in this. You can g-go ask her." Jamie struggled against his hold.
''Mmm...hmm...I can see that. Because if you did have a hand you would have been on the floor with blood all around you right now. But I shouldn't see you anywhere near her. If I do...You know me.'' The golden boy said with a dangerous glint to his eyes and a smirk playing on his lips.
''Y-Yes...of course!'' He mumbled nodding frantically and then walking quickly the other direction just as Michael let go of his arm. He was sure he had left marks.
Which was good. That will remind him of what he had been told.

The school was over, and Sarah stood on the steps of the parking lot, waiting for her brother to pick her up. That was actually their routine. But now they used to get a little late since Paul, Her brother had football practice. She didn't mind really, she could easily wait, listening to music and just doodling or maybe writing in her journal. She had a lot of interesting hobbies to pass time.
Sighing, she sat on the steps, drawing in her sketchpad, when she heard shuffling behind her and the now familiar voice say something. Turning around, she raised her face up, putting a hand over her head to keep the scorching sun from burning her eyes. After a bit of focusing she could see who was it.
''Oh it's you...'' Michael said slowly, surprised.
''Yeah'' Sarah found herself speaking.
''Uhh...weren't you wearing something else earlier?'' Michael asked as he sat himself right next to her on the steps.
''I was wearing a pink sweater. But a girl mistakenly threw her coke on it. Besides I have extra clothes with me anyway.'' Sarah spoke remembering the event from earlier when some junior stumbled into her and she ended up with a huge dark blotch in front of her. Luckily she could get changed into the extra sweater or jeans she carries around.
''You are really into sweaters. I never saw you in anything else. Rainbow looks good on you.'' He said chuckling a bit.
''Yes, I like them a lot.'' Sarah simply replied.
''Where's your ride? Should I drop you?'' Michael suddenly asked.
''No it's okay. My brother picks me up'' She replied.
''Okay. Can I ask you something?'' He asked looking at her with confused expressions. When she didn't say anything he proceeded: ''Will you come with me to the dance?'' The whole image on Sarah's face changed the second the words were out of his mouth. She gawked at him before looking away.
''I-I...I already asked Jamie'' She muttered.
''Forget him, I am-'' His speech was cut when a horn was heard and a red car rolled in. She turned to look Paul raising his eyebrows before giving her a smile that clearly showed something so wrong was brewing in his mind.
''I have to go.'' Sarah quickly mumbled as she whipped around and practically ran down the stairs as Michael stood there digging deathly glares into her back. Opening the door so fast and jumping in breathless, staring straight ahead as she shouted "Go! Go! Go!" Paul smiled in amusement as he put gears and zoomed out of the lot. Sarah could imagine Michael's loud cursing right now.
"Hmm...So you are now friends with 'The Golden Boy' huh? Some tactics you have'' Paul grinned shamelessly.
''Oh shut up! That boy has nothing to do with me. And by the way, Why are you so late today?'' She asked with narrowed eyes.
''Event is in some days, we need extra practice.'' He replied nonchalantly.
'If you had arrived a little late I would be in a way wrong situation right now' Sarah couldn't help but think.

The door flung open as both the kids strutted in. Their mother peeked out of the kitchen as a smile appeared on her face. She took off the blue mittens she was wearing, placing them on the white kitchen counter. She came out and wrapped them both at the same time in a bear hug.
''Ugh...Can't breathe...'' Paul's muffled voice came as he squirmed, his arm got tangled weirdly with his sister's, who seemed to be having a hard time breathing too. Their mother released them, laughing sweetly as she waved them both over to the kitchen who were still rubbing their elbows.
Entering, bright light greeted them, from the large windows that showed the view of the front gate and garden. Delicious smell hit their nostrils, and their mouths watered. The smell screamed one thing particularly...
"COOKIES!!!!" Sarah and Paul looked at each other before lunging towards the covered tray. Suddenly Sonya's little head peeked out from near the tray, as she grinned before picking it clear up off the counter and rushing out in the opposite direction.
"HEY! You little-'' Paul growled as he took off running behind her.
"No cursing!!!" Their mother shrieked. Sarah too, was hot on their heels. Running like a maniac shouting for Sonya to stop. Loud childish giggles could be heard as well as Paul's lowkey cursing. Sonya rounded the couch their dad was sitting on, screaming : "They are hitting me dadddd!!!'' Their father laughed amusingly, knowing that his children were completely nuts, as he said, yelling the last words:
"Right honey, I can see that. Good time trying not to trip and break any bones!"
"Shame on you for not being able to catch a kid!" Paul glared at her as she took that as a challenge, running like the wind itself. She came in front of him and reached forward with one hand. Sonya's shirt came into her hand as she held it tightly and pulled her back. The little kid groaned, resisting the hold. Paul then appeared and snatched the tray from her little hands, smiling as maliciously as he could.
"If this broke, you would be hanging upside down from the fan while I switch on the button to maximum speed.'' He said.
Taking steps back quickly, when Sarah had asked for the tray. He grinned now, removing the cover. He looked at Sarah. "Aren't you gonna stop me? What are you doing?'' Sarah sat there, still holding Sonya from one hand while she had the other near her temple, slowly rubbing it.
"Twinpathy. I am doing twinpathy you idiot." She said lowly.
"And what is that supposed to be?" Paul asked uninterested.
"Something like telepathy between twins." She explained in a 'duh' tone.
"Oh my God! Oh...what is happening to my brain...Are you forcing me to eat this cookie? Becof I really donf wanna eaf thaf" Paul dramatized as he moved his hand to hold the cookie and then push it into his mouth and chewing like he has been forced to do it. Crumbs falling everywhere from his mouth.
"Did you just- Drama queen give that back!" Sarah stood up, walking over to Paul. "I am older than you. If you don't give this to me then-'' She began as Paul cut her. Extending the tray towards her. She took the cookie, not breaking eye contact.
"Older by a minute..." He scoffed.
"Whatever." Sarah muttered.
