As the zombies moved closer to the fallen/injured; Makoto Takeya. Said teen, tries to move back to put distance between the zombies and himself. A flash of purple and a shadow leap over Makoto, and the small group of zombies fall down like a sack of potatoes.

Once the last zombie falls to the ground, it is revealed to be Saeko Busujima, herself killing zombies left and right.

And not long after, Takashi Komuro joins her with killing the zombies in front of him. If anyone looked at the couples faces, they would shake in fear and terror, for the bloodlust and rage circling in their eyes as they killed all the zombies in their line of sight.

In the Humvee, Kohta took out his chosen sniper from when he shot the zombies to help Takashi save the Maresato sisters.

Now because there was so many zombies, Kohta gave instructions on how everyone else can use their gun of choice. The ones to help out were, Hisashi, Morita, Toshimi, Emi, Rei, Saya, Misuzu, Takuzo and Aoi.
Took out their weapons of choice to help out: Kohta, Takashi and Saeko protect Makoto and kill the approaching horde, with no hesitation.

Kohta gave instructions on the different guns for the others to use, while Hisashi and Rei used their martial arts skills to fight the undead, and Aoi joined the pair by swinging at the zombies with her trusty baseball bat as she fights the zombies and jumps back.

There was a total of 200 zombies before the group made their way, through the freeway. Now that number has dropped to only about 34 left; most of them were taken out by Takashi and Saeko.
There was a couple of zombies walking up the street, and they were taken out by Kohta and his sniper rifle.

The others, who were not as experience as Kohta and surprisingly Takashi. A lot of them missed the head or neck area, or they hit a part of the zombie's body.

When the last zombie nearby, was shot down by Toshimi. It was when help arrived; a group of people in heavy-duty firemen outfits, drove up to the wires and were shock still at seeing over 200 zombie bodies lay on the street, all of them put down by a group of teenagers.

After getting everyone from Takashi's group over the wires and finally their Humvee, as several firemen used water sprayers to blast at the zombies that are getting too close.

After setting the wires back into place, once the Humvee and all the survivors were on the other side of the freeway with the firemen. Shizuka, Goro and his wife: Sonia go up to who one of the firemen who seems like the leader and bowed to them in thanks for saying their lives.

The leader said that they would step in, to help out anyone in need, and her daughter's friends, the leader took off her helmet to reveal a middle age woman with long waist length lavender hair and purple eyes, pale tan skin, a height of 5'10.
Her name is Yuriko Takagi.

"Mommy!!" Shouts Saya, as she runs past her friends and fellow survivors as she runs to her mother and jumps into her mom's waiting arms and hugs her mom why she cries her eye out.

After Saya and her mom's reunion, Yuriko looks at the survivors with her daughter and see's so many young survivors. Even baby Daichi who is in Shima's arms, she is smiling at how fast the high school survivors have grown in the few days. Her eyes than land on Takashi who is helping Makoto keep on his feet with Saeko helping him, care for their injured kohai. With a order from Yuriko, Team Takashi and Yuriko's group made their way to the Takagi mansion.
