Meanwhile on Koyoto Bridge
(Wednesday April 15th, 2010. 2:35 AM Z-day +2)

"Even if it's a family member, stay away from anybody who attacks you!"
"I repeat, stay away from them! Injured people and those who attack others are not allowed through!" A police officer's voice rings out from a loud speaker, as other police officer's are not letting other civilians who are not bitten through the barricade on the bridge.

"The blockade of Tokonosu City's western sector is still in place, but... With the Murder Syndrome spreading not only arcoss Japan but the entire globe, criticism about whether it makes a difference is erupting." Said a female news reporter, who is on the bridge that is on the other side from the chaos.
"Even field reporters sent to collect data are without means to return to the station following it's relocation offshore at the airport, in response to the spread of the infection. We're using satellite relay to transmit the goings on in Tokonosu City the best we can..."

From a police car, a few feet away from the reporter, a police officer with gray hair and looking to be in his mid 50's but look no more than mid 40's at best, "What do you mean, we are free to do whatever!? What about our support from HQ? All contact has been cut off!?" The police takes his headset and throws it on the ground as he curse's. Soon another police officer 20 years younger than him, runs to him and give him the report about the situation, "Captain! At this rate they are going to brake down the barricade! And... We have officers abandoning their posts."

The older officer looks at the younger one with a grim expression, "We got word from upper management. They told us that we are to do what ever it takes to control this mob. Supposedly things are crazier down their too."
The younger cop shouts, "THEN GIVE US AN ORDER! IF THERE ARE UNHARMED CITIZENS ON THE BRIDGE OR THE OTHER SIDE! WE SHOULD SACRIFICE A SMALL GROUP IN ORDER TO SAY IN ORDER TO SAVE THE LARGER GROUP!!"
The older officer, looks down in anger "How ironic. Our job is to protect these people." and slams his fist on the side of his cruiser. "And you watch! Now were going to be force to kill most of them!!"

On the bridge where the zombies are being attracted because of the noise, a small group of people are being attacked, killed and eaten by the zombies is seen by a pair of binoculars from Rika's apartment.

"I'm getting sick..." Said Takuzo Suganuma who took off his sports towel, gakuen jacket and white dress shirt showing his navy blue t-shirt, said teen hands the binoculars to Kohta Hirano who has his gakuen jacket open showing a white t-shirt, underneath. "...Here I had enough." As Takuzo walks back into the room, Kohta looks through the binoculars and says that what he is watching is like a scene from a movie called "Apocalypse Now" then he sees something happening on the other side of the bridge, she Hisashi Igou, who only took off his gakuen jacket, showing his plain white dress shirt, asked him what's wrong. Kohta only tells him to turn on the TV. Which Hisashi does.

Now the group of boys (except for Takashi, Makoto and the grade schoolers) sit on the floor and see what is happening on the bridge.
"DON'T ALLOW THE POLICE TO TRYRANNIZE US!!" Screamed a male protester, "WE CONDEMN... THE SPREAD OF THE MURDER SYNDROME BROUGHT ON BY THE BIOLOGICAL WEAPONS DEVELOPED BY THE GOVERNMENT AND THE U.S.!!"

"RIGHT NOW, A GROUP OF PROTESTERS HAVE STARTED CHANTING... AGAINST THE BRIDGE BLOCKADE BY THE POLICE!" Said the same female reporter from earlier says, "IT'S NOT QUITE CLEAR WHO THIS ORGANIZATION IS BUT BASED ON THE FLYERS DISTIBUTED BY THE GROUP IT SAYS THAT..."
"Are they serious!? What biological weapon!?!" Shouted Takuzo after seeing what is happening on the bridge, "They know damn well, that no kind of science explains why dead corpses walk around eating people!" Said Sota Yamada who has his white dress shirt untucked and open showing a dull blue t-shirt.

"You know this is some kind of government propaganda. Maybe the media can---" Kohta Hirano was cut off by a gun shot that ranged out on the bridge.

Meanwhile on the bridge, a young male police officer who looks to be a rookie, fired the first shot, at a zombie who use to be a fellow police officer. The older police officer from earlier shouts that didn't give the order to shoot. He knows.... That police officer knows that the dead react to sound only.
But that officer and the others don't listen as they aim fire on the approaching horde.

"STOP IT!!" A voice shouts out in between the horde and the cops. The police officer's look and see a woman in her late 20's to early 30's is holding the body of a little girl no more than 9 to 10 years old.
"STOP SHOOTING!! SHE'S STILL ALIVE! MY GIRL IS STILL ALIVE!!" The police don't know what to do and look as the woman holds the body of her daughter as tears fall down her face.
"PLEASE!! MY BABY!! MY BABY!!"
"HELP HER...!" It was too late to help the little girl, as it is revealed that the child was bitten twice. One on the left arm and another on the right leg.

And as the child started moving again, it was to take a large bite out of it's mother's neck.

After the mother scream's in pain, and the people on the other side of the bridge look at her in horror, the woman drops the walking corpse that was her daughter, and still standing on her feet, the woman pukes up blood that lands on her "daughter" as she turns into a zombie herself.
