"Hey, Vest."

"Yes bruder?"

He turned around to see his older brother standing in the entryway to the living room. There was something off about his face though. This worried Ludwig a bit, and he spoke again.

"Is there something vrong?"

"Vell, no. But as your Big Bruder, I've decided to share some advice vith you."

Prussia sat on the sofa right next to Germany. What he said next was something Germany wasn't expecting though.

"I suggest that jou don't fall in love vith a human."

At the time, Germany was physically a child, as being a fairly new country. He didn't understand yet what it was like to love someone romantically. It's not like he has met someone worth loving in the past. Well, that might be a lie, since he can't remember much of his past. All he knew was that His big brother was always trying to protect him. So he agreed with his brother, promising to not develop close feelings towards a human.

As the years have gone by, he learned about some of the hardships that the other countries have had to go through, and how much of a messy state they were put in afterwards due to heartbreak. He was able to understand why Prussia had told him not to become close to humans so many years ago. Who knew that just one human, whether love interest or friend, could mean so much to someone to the point that they would never forget them.

But wondered if he would ever meet anyone he was capable of loving, someone to call his own, someone who he can rely on and have them depend on him as well.

And how would he react if he did meet a special someone.

And how exactly could a love blossom between a simple human and an immortal being.

What he didn't know was that his question was on it's way to being solved, but another question remains:

Does he really want to find out?
