"Come on Kaylee! The food is gonna get spoiled!" Angelica said, dragging the poor girl along. The two reached the park and made their way to a bench. "You know how much I love food!" "Yeah, yeah. I know, yeesh! Your love for food is the reason you don't like anybody!" Kaylee replied, rolling her eyes. "I heard that! But yeah," her friend laughed. They started to open up their picnic basket, waiting for their other friend, Lizzy, to arrive. "YO LOOK! A DOG!!!" Angelica yelled. Kaylee turned around to see the dog, but saw a sight next to it which caught her attention immediately. Yeah there was a dog which was quite exciting, but man, the person behind it was pure magnificent. He had beautiful blond hair and baby blue eyes that resembled the sky behind him. And might she mention, he was quite muscular, which was a definite plus. Angelica noticed how Kaylee had became very quiet and looked at her gaze of direction. She internally smirked at the situation she caught her friend in. "Hey Kaylee," she asked with innocence in her voice, "Don't you think that guy looks pretty hot?" "W-WHAT?! Uh, I don't k-know who you're referring to," Kaylee stammered. "That guy over there. He looks pretty hot. Don't you think he wants a bottle of water. Wait don't tell me you were thinking of-" "DON'T WORRY I'LL GIVE HIM IT," Kaylee interrupted Angelica before she could finish her sentence.

              "Oh my, he's taller up close." Kaylee was a few feet away when suddenly the dog from earlier approached her. He was so cute and kept wagging his tail and looked at at her with those big brown eyes she just couldn't resist. "Aww, what a cutie you are!" she said while getting down to pet the dog. "U-um excuse me," a voice spoke. She looked up and noticed the handsome male standing before her. "Oh! I'm sorry! I should've asked if I could pet your dog first!", Kaylee replied hurriedly. "Nein, nein! It's perfectly fine." So she continued to pet the dog with him gazing at them. "I've never seen Blitz get this attached to a stranger," Ludwig muttered, staring in astonishment. "Oh, really? Maybe it's because I also have a dog at home." She replied. "What breed is he? Or she? I'm sorry, I'm just not su-" he was interrupted by the giggles that spilled from between her lips. "It's okay! I have a yellow labrador retriever and his name is Balto." "HEY, KAYLEE! THE WATER!" The two looked across the field to see Angelica waving her arms wildly. "Oh yeah! You looked pretty hot over here so I came to give you this." She handed over the water bottle she had forgotten about. "Oh, danke." He had never met anyone this kind to him on his trips to the park so far. It was a change to meet someone who didn't pass you by and was instead quite friendly.

             "Hey! Maybe we could get together again and take our dogs on a play date!" Kaylee exclaimed to the man in front of her. "Ya, that vould be nice. How about tomorrow around 3?" Ludwig really wanted to talk to her again sometime, but was worried that the date would be too soon. "That's alright with me. See you th-" "OTP!!!!!!!!!!!" All of the blood drained from Kaylee's face as she turned around to be met with the sight of Angelica trying to hold back Lizzy who had just noticed where she was. "Do you know those people?" Ludwig could tell that she knew the two girls, but decided to ask anyways. "Ehehe, yeah. I suggest that you start running away unless you want to be bombarded with questions and squealing." Ludwig gave her a small smile. "Vell, until next time...um?" "Kaylee. Kaylee Johns," she finished for him. "Ludwig. Ludwig Beilschmidt." And just like that, he and Blitz took off jogging until they were out of sight. Kaylee felt a warm feeling in her stomach after meeting Ludwig. But was then tackled by Lizzy and bombarded with questions from her two friends. "Oh boy."
