Chapter 2

The film started rolling as Evan came in, Jessica looked at him, feeling all the emotions her character was supposed to.

"What's your name?" Evan asked.

"Cora and you are?"

"Frank." Evan said as he watched his costar move around the set kitchen.

"What do you do for living, Frank?"

"I'm a drifter, well was until I started working here. You?" He asked.

"I'm a waitress and I own this place with my husband, the man who gave you this job." She said.

"What are you making?" He asked.

"Bread. Want some to go with your coffee?" She asked.

"Sure." He said as she slid the palate over to him.

There was something about this movie that made Evan look at her, like if he somehow was falling in love with her.

(I haven't watched this movie in so long and I'm trying to remember the lines from memory)

...

Jessica sat in her trailer, reading her lines as someone started knocking on her door.

"Yes?" Jessica asked.

"Hey, it's me." Evan said as Jessica opened the door.

"Oh hey. I was just reading my lines for the next scene." Jessica said.

"That's what I came to talk to you about." Evan said as Jessica noticed the worried expression on his face.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"Well, the next scene is our first sex scene." He said.

"Why are you worried?" Jessica asked him.

"I'm not." Evan said.

"Are you a virgin?" She asked.

"No. What about you?" He asked.

"No." Jessica said.

"Really?" Evan asked.

"Evan, I used to be married." Jessica said.

"I've only been in two relationships." He said.

"I know. I've read it on the internet." Jessica said.

"Yeah, I'm not that great at relationships." He said.

"My marriage only lasted for two years." Jessica said.

"I've never married but I have been engaged before." Evan said.

"I'm sorry it didn't work out." Jessica said.

"It's alright. I hate that your marriage didn't work out." Evan said.

"It's okay. Plans you make don't always work out and the worst part is over with now." Jessica said.

"I just wanted to talk to you about the scene because I was going to go talk to the director about not doing it." Evan said.

"No, don't do that. I want to do the scene and it'll be okay." Jessica said.

"Are you sure?" Evan asked her.

"Of course I'm sure." Jessica said as her hand caressed his arm.

"Okay, well I'll see you on set then." Evan said.

"Yeah." Jessica said as she felt her face get flushed and her heart started racing a little bit.

"I'll talk to you later." Evan said as he walked out.

"You too." Jessica said as she read her lines.

...

It's the scene where Frank says goodbye to the actor who plays Cora's husband as he came back inside and looked at Cora making bread in the kitchen as he went into the kitchen.

Someone started knocking loudly as Frank and Cora looked at each other.

"Did you lock the door?" Cora asked him.

"I think I did." Frank said as they rushed to the door but the men had already left.

"Did you know those guys?" Cora asked him.

"No." Frank said.

"They must've known you." Cora said.

"I don't know them." Frank said as Cora looked over at his bag.

"What's in the bag Frank?" Cora asked.

"Nothing." He said.

"You must have something in there that they want." Cora said.

"They left." Frank said as Cora went to grab the bag and Frank picked her up.

Frank and Cora start fighting in the dining room of the restaurant as he carried her into the kitchen and lays her up against the wall as she tries to fight him off of her but is unsuccessful as she spits at him as he starts kissing her.

She pushes him down to where his face is in her womanhood as he picks her up lays her on the table.

"Come on." She pleaded.

"Come on." She pleaded again as he kisses her hard again.

"Hold on, hold on." She said as she knocks all the bread and flour off into the floor as she throws the knife to the side.

Evan's character starts kissing her again as his hand goes to her womanhood as he makes sure she's ready for him as she removes his hand and pleasures herself as his hand slips under her garter belts as she starts unbuttoning his pants as she seen his manhood as he moved her undergarments to the side while she whispered in his ear to let her be on top as she was ready for him.

He removed her apron and untied her blouse he pushed her breasts up as he entered her as she threw her head back, feeling him inside her made her want to let go but held it for as long as she could as he held her hips and they both climaxed.

He kissed her and pushed her hair out of her face while she calmed down from high.

After the scene was filmed, it was time to head back to their trailers.

...

Jessica was relaxing in a warm bubble bath as she thought about the way he felt inside of her.

"God, he was amazing!" Jessica said to herself as she took a sip of her wine.

"He was much more gentle than Paco was and caring too but there's no way we could express our feelings to each other." Jessica said as she heard a knock on her door as she ignored it.

She heard it two more times as she heard Evan.

"Jessica, can we talk?" He asked as Jessica got out of her bath and put her robe on.

She opened her door to see Evan fidgeting.

"Hey, what's up?" She asked.

"I can't stop thinking about you." Evan said as Jessica sat down.

"But Evan, we just met." Jessica said.

"I know but I've never felt so connected with someone." Evan said.

"Evan, you are talking crazy." Jessica said.

"No I'm not." Evan said.

"Evan, we just had a sex scene and now, you're telling me you are thinking about me?" Jessica questioned.

"For goodness sakes Evan, I just went through a very painful divorce and I can't be with you. After this, we're going to go separate ways and go on with our lives. I'm going back to Paris to take care of some things, then I'll be moving back to my hometown in Minnesota." Jessica said as Evan looked away.

"This is not about the sex scene at all! It's about the fact that I've never been around someone who laughs at my jokes or never turns their head away every time I say something. Fine, I can't wait for this picture to be over, so we can both go back to our lives." Evan said.

"Evan, we come from two completely different worlds and I can't be with you." Jessica said.

"You're right Jessica, we come from two completely different worlds and somehow I don't believe that we do but you think that we do." Evan said.

"Evan, you don't want to be with me and I'm not your type." Jessica said.

"How do you know what my type is?" Evan asked her.

"Because I seen how your ex fiance looks and I don't look like her." Jessica said.

"I can't help how she looks and you're beautiful just the way you are Jessica." Evan said.

"I'm sorry Evan but I'm not going to risk getting my heart broke again." Jessica said.

"It's okay." Evan said as he walked out of her trailer and back to his.

...

The next scene is the one where the storm happens and it's the next day where Frank is talking to Cora about killing her husband.

"Let's kill him." Cora said as Frank said.

"You know they hang people for that Cora." Frank said.

"I'm tired of doing the right thing." Cora said.

In the distance, Cora's husband is yelling for her as they keep talking as she walks away to join her husband.

"And cut!" The director yells.

Jessica walks away to go back to her trailer to change her clothes for the next scene.

Jessica strips out of her clothes and gets in the shower to avoid getting a cold and makes sure her door is locked to avoid people walking in on her.

She gets out and unlocks the bathroom door as she starts getting dressed as Evan walks in on her as she screamed.

"Evan, what the hell? Get out!" Jessica hollered.

"Jessica, we need to talk." Evan said.

"I don't want to talk to you if you still have feelings for me." Jessica said as she got in her wardrobe for the next scene as Evan grabbed her hand.

"Please listen to me." Evan said as Jessica tried to wriggle free but he had a stronger grip.

"Fine, but let me go first you bastard." Jessica said as Evan let her go.

Evan sat down as Jessica looked at him.

"First, I just want to tell you that I'm madly in love with you." Evan said.

"That's nice." Jessica said sarcastically.

"Second, I know you're hurt but so am I. I'm sorry you stopped believing in love after what you and your ex husband divorced but I can't leave here, knowing that you'll probably find some asshole who'll do the same damn thing he did to you." Evan said.

"I built up a wall around my heart to keep myself from getting hurt." Jessica said.

"I did the same thing and then, you came along and made me see that there are still decent people like you in this world." Evan said.

"Evan, I'm not the person who can fill your dreams. We barely know each other and I'm scared to know what will happen if we did get close and it ends." Jessica said.

"Then, we'll get to know each other. Let me be your knight and shining armor and I promise that I will never hurt you." Evan said as Jessica started crying.

"Evan, I can't love you and you can't love me." Jessica said as Evan wiped her tears.

"Jessica, I do love you and I know you're scared but I love you and I'm going to prove that to you." Evan said.

"How?" She asked.

"One day, I'll make all your dreams come true Jessica Lange." Evan said as he walked out of her trailer as she looked around her trailer before closing her eyes as she put her head in her hands.

"We'll see." Jessica said to herself.
