Steven jumped off of the ship in joy. He was finally home, and he had the gems back with him, too. Nothing could've been better than this.

"It's good to be home!" He cheered. Everyone agreed with that statement, especially the gems. "Well, do you guys want to stay here for a while, or are you going back to the temple?"

"I guess we'll stay here for a while..." Pearl said. "Yeah, it sounds fun!" Ruby exclaimed. Everyone ran into the barn, but Steven just stood there, lost in his thoughts.

If only Yellow Diamond crushed me... His mind told him. I wouldn't be feeling this way.

Steven was so lost in his thoughts, he didn't hear a ship land behind him, nor did he hear the gem walking up to him. The gems must've, though, because they ran back outside the barn.

"STEVEN!" All the gems shouted, causing Steven to jerk from his thoughts. "BEHIND YOU!" He started to turn around, but it was too late.

The gem that was behind him, stabbed him.

Everyone gasped and cupped their hands over their mouth. A small smile crossed Steven's face and he let out a small chuckle. "Thank....you..."

Suddenly, clouds surrounded him, and that caused everyone to become more shocked. His gem was now lying on the ground when the homeworld soldier, which appeared to be an Emerald, picked it up. "It's about time I did this..."

She then crushed the gem with her bare hand and dropped the shards on the ground. "Perfect..." She then hopped back onto her ship and took off.

Suddenly, everyone started to break down. They couldn't believe what they just saw...

They couldn't believe Steven was shattered.
