Steven Quartz Universe, the name of a child who was different than the rest. He was not your ordinary, everyday child, he was far from in in fact.

Rose Quartz, his mother, started a rebellion against her homeworld thousands of years ago to protect the Earth from destruction.

Rose Quartz won the rebellion causing homeworld to flee. Although, they sent off a strange signal, corrupting almost all of the Crystal Gems except for Rose and her closest friends.

They were Pearl and Garnet.

Garnet was a fusion of Ruby and Sapphire, two lovers that cannot stand to be apart. Although sometimes they get into arguments, causing them to split up.

Pearl used to be a servant who obeyed orders until the rebellion. Since then, Pearl was free to do what she wanted without listening to orders.

Then, there is Amethyst.

She was never in the rebellion because she was still being made inside the Kindergarten. Although a while after the rebellion, she was found, and Rose Quartz took her in.

Although, one day, Rose fell in love with a human named Greg. At first, it started out as a small relationship, but as time went on, Rose became pregnant with her son, Steven.

Since both of them cannot exist, Rose Quartz gave up her physical form in order to give birth to Steven.

Steven doesn't know much about his mother except that she started the rebellion to protect Earth. Steven is half human, half gem.

This gives him gem abilities, such as being able to summon Rose's shield and bubble, but since he is half human, he is also immune to advanced gem tech, such as the gem destabilizers.

Little did he know that later that day, his whole world was about to change.
