Steven and Connie warped back to the temple. "What are we bringing, Steven?" Connie asked. Steven looked around the house before speaking. "Mom's sword is what we need." He replied. "And maybe some other stuff, like um, lion."

"Steven, we can't bring lion." Connie stated. "He's too big!"

"Yeah, but I know someone else that we can bring!" He ran up to the temple door, hoping to be able to get to the burning room. He sighed when it didn't work, but he soon got another idea.

He thought hard about something, making the door to his room open up. Steven and Connie walked in as the door closed behind them. "Now what, Steven?"

"Room, please, take me to the basement."

The clouds moved out of the way, revealing a part of the Crystal Heart. They walked over to it and slid down, and they were now in the burning room. "What are we doing here, Steven?" Connie asked.

"You'll see." Steven said as he walked around, looking for the bubble that contained a certain gem. When he found it, he sighed and popped it.

The gem started to glow as the Crystal Gem, Bismuth, came out.

"What do you want?" Bismuth asked with anger.

"Bismuth, please, we need your help!"

"Why though?"

Tears just filled Steven's eyes. "Because, Bismuth, we need you...just do it for me...for the Crystal Gems...they need our help..."

"Why? What's wrong?"

Steven sighed. "I'll explain everything, come on."
