Here guys go with another chapter and I hope you guys enjoy it.

This time Team RWBY invades Tarawa in the Pacific war with the  US Marines!!!

SEMPER FI!!!! US MARINES!!!

Date: November 20th, 1943 12:37 PM

Location: Tarawa island

As the Landing boat neared the island Team RWBY couldn't think of what was in store for them when they got there. Then an explosion went off near the landing craft and splashed water into the craft and got everyone inside it wet. Some of the other Marines in the boat were praying to themselves to ensure that god will watch over them. The girls meanwhile were also praying to themselves just like the Marines were.

Then another explosion went off near the vessel lifting even more water into the air and into the craft. Then the Landing craft in front of them then went up in flames as it got hit with a artillery round and pieces of it went flying everywhere.

"keep your heads down!!" The Marine captain said Everyone inside the boat then keep their heads down in the safety of the vessel.

Then the sound of Japanese bullets can be heard ricocheting of the front of the craft and whizzing over their heads. The girls had their weapons loaded and they were ready to fight and they all had to learn to live with killing other enemy soldiers. They had learned it through their training "Its kill or get killed" that stuck with them the most. But they couldn't think about that right now as they had a job to do.

"Everyone ready!!" Dan said. "Load your weapons!" The other Marines then loaded up their weapons and were ready to fight. Then when the boat was close enough Dan opened up with the Mounted .50 Cal machine gun and David opened with the mounted .30 Cal Machine gun. Dan and David would provide cover fire for the Marines so they wouldn't get shot at.

Then as the landing craft reached the island the vehicle came to a stop on the beach and then it was time for everyone to get out of the craft.

"OVER THE SIDES!!" Dan said to the other Marines and they all jumped out of the landing craft and onto the sandy beaches of Tawara. As soon as Team RWBY and the other Marines were off the landing craft Dan and David grabbed their Thompson submachine guns and followed team RWBY in crawling toward the sea wall to find a breach in it. Enemy soldiers were shooting the storming Marines trying to stop them and they were causing some casualties.

Ruby saw this and she aimed her Springfield at the machine gunner in a nearby pillbox and put the crosshairs right on the gunners head and pulled the trigger and put a bullet right in between his eyes. The guy next to the gunner tried to take the died gunners place but Ruby readied another shot and killed the other guy as well. Then after that Team RWBY, Dan, and David made it to the sea wall right next to machine gun opening.

"Ruby get a grenade in that bunker!" Dan said as he pointed at the gun position. Ruby nodded as the sound of bullets and explosions were going off everywhere. She ran up to the window of the bunker, then took a grenade from her belt pulled the pin and threw it into the window and it blew up the position. Ruby then took her Thompson out and fired a few rounds into the window to make sure everyone inside was dead.

Then Team RWBY, Dan, David, and a few other Marines were then ran along the sea wall and found a big hole in the wall and that was their way in.

"Alright, we found our way in remember your training!" Dan said to the squad. "Find them, fix them, burn them, kill them! Ruby take your squad and clear out the enemy artillery emplacements, I'll take my squad and hit the enemy machine gun emplaces!" Ruby nodded at Dan and took the rest of her team down a path that lead into the center of the island to where the Japanese artillery guns where, but ahead of them were at least 70-125 enemy soldiers.

Time skip...

A Japanese soldier POV...

As we were guarding the posts we were assigned to I couldn't help but think that something was going to happen. Then I looked down at our trenches leading to the beach and I saw 4 female soldiers. I was confused at first as I knew that women weren't allowed to fight in any military I knew of. But when I saw that they wore the enemies uniform I knew they were our enemy.

"Teki no heishi!"(enemy soldiers!") I yelled to the others and they all got into position to fight them. We would hold the line or die trying. I readied my rifle and hopped for them best.

Back to team RWBY...

As Ruby and the others ran threw the trenches they suddenly came across a group of Japanese soldiers who fired on them and they all took cover. Ruby and Weiss took cover behind some boxes in the trenches and Yang and Blake took cover behind a down palm tree. The Japanese were really trying their best in order for their guns to not get destroyed.

"Yang light them up!!" Ruby yelled Then Yang brought her M1919 to bare on the enemy and pulled the trigger letting off a long stream of .30 Cal bullets at the Japanese soldiers killing a few of them and make the others go back into cover. She was trained to use the M1919 like this to make the Japanese fear her and her fellow team mates. Then she had to reload so Yang went back into cover to reload her M1919 while the others covered her.

"Cover fire!" Ruby yelled as she shot her Thompson killing another soldier. Weiss then put her sights on another soldier trying to flank them then pulled the trigger on her Carbine and killed him. Blake was focusing on trying to kill the sniper that was in the tower just ahead of them group. She finally was able to kill him when she put her sights on him and shot him off the tower. Ruby then pulled out her Springfield and then sniped a few more enemies. After that was over the girls continued their way towards the guns.

But as the girls got closer and closer to the artillery guns they couldn't help but think what was between them and their objective. Then as team RWBY was nearing their objective they came across a fire fight between U.S. Marines and the Japanese defenders. See as which the girls were on the flank of the Japanese they decided to use it to their advantage and take out the defenders. Yang primed her M1919 while Blake, Ruby, and Weiss readied their sub machine guns then when they were all ready they opened fire with deadly accuracy. In just a matter of seconds team RWBY made quick work of the defenders allowing the marines to advance even more.

After that team RWBY them made their way to where the artillery guns were and found them dug in a deep sand pit where they were concealed and only the end of the barrel was showing. Ruby saw that their were a few guards around and they would have to be dealt with. Ruby then pulled out her sniper and put the crosshairs on the first guard and shot his in the head. Before any of the other guards could done anything the rest of the team shot up the rest of them.

After that Ruby and the others ran to the entrance to the artillery guns and Ruby looked around the corner and saw a group of enemies around the guns. Ruby then hand singled Yang to clear them out and she did just that. Yang then opened fire on the Japanese soldiers as they were caught off guard. The rest of the team then followed close behind in order to kill the rest. After all of them were taken care of Ruby then placed a time bomb on the ammo dump for the artillery guns and set it for 20 seconds. Everyone then ran as fast as they could away from the room as 20 seconds pass and the bomb blew up the ammunition taking the guns with it.

Just after that Team RWBY then rejoined Dan and his squad at the meeting point.

"Did you get the Guns?!" Dan asked.

"Sure did, Nothing but ash now!" Ruby said.

"Now that's what I'm talking about!!" Dan yelled.

Time skip 3 days....again

November 24, 1943

After 3 days of intense fighting the Marines finally take Tawara and team RWBY can take a break. Team RWBY's Performance however was outstanding and there were even a few moments in the battle where team RWBY were recorded on camera or got into pictures during the whole thing. Currently Team RWBY was resting after all the fighting was over with.

"Wow we did it." Ruby said. "I can't believe we did it."

"We Ruby we still got a long ways until we reach Japan." Yang said. "Through what Dan has told me is that the offensive is not gonna stop until we take Japan."

"Well lets hope we can bring this war to quick end!" Ruby said. "I kind of miss Beacon."
