(How is this book getting so many reads?)

With Team RWBY....ugh

After the encounter with a few Japanese soldiers and seeing what the girls could do, Dan and David saw potential in the 4 girls they had found. They had decided to talk to General Alexander Archer Vandegrift or Sunny Jim as he was nick named. (I looked him up on Wiki you can go look for your self if you don't believe me he was one of the Generals on Guadalcanal.) After walking for what seemed like a long time the group finally made it to Henderson filed. Team RWBY were amazed at what they saw, there were planes sitting on the side of the runway there was movement all over the place from planes, troops, and some sort of armor vehicles moving along with some trucks.

Ruby was awing at all the weapons the soldiers were carrying and she wanted to go around and look at them.

"OH MY OUM!!!" Ruby yelled, "SO MANY WEAPONS, MUST LOOK!!!!" she almost sprinted when Yang grabbed her red hood.

"Wow there sis!" Yang said as she held her sister back. "You can do that later, right now we need to focus."

"Awww, fine" Ruby said with a pout. The group then keep moving thought the field in the direction of the command tent. But then Dan stopped the group to let a couple of Sherman Tanks pass. Then the tank commander from the front tank saw Dan and the group and waved to them and the group returned the gesture. But then the pulls off to the side of the group and stops and he steps out and lands on the ground with a thud. 

"I thought the Marine corps didn't Allow Women to fight." The tank Commander said as he looked at the group. He look at Team RWBY with disbelief as they looked like they shouldn't be there.

"Oh these girls, no no no we actually found them in the Jungle a little ways in." Dan said. "I'm Sargent Dan by the way."

"Sargent major Evan Coltan,  1st Corps medium tank battalion, I heard that well be moving to Tarawa in a few months." Evan said. 

"Well then I guess we have some time to spare." Dan said. "If you'll excuse us we have to go talk to the general."

"Go right ahead but ill be keeping my eye on you Sargent." Evan said as he climbed back into his tank and drove away with the other tanks following him.

"What were those Vehicles those Men were driving?" Weiss asked looking at the machines with amazement as they drove off.

"Those are called tanks and those are the newest we have and its called the Sherman." David said. 

"Tanks?" Yang said. "I like the sound of that."

"Trust me Blondie you don't want to be on the other side of that thing." Dan said. Yang looked at him with an angry look but Dan looked back to where they were heading in the first place.

Time skip.....(this story is getting popular for some reason) 

When the group had reached the command tent their was a  receptionist was standing outside behind a desk looking at a clip board. 

"Excuse me Mam." Dan said getting the receptionist's attention.

"Can I help you sir?" The reception said.

"May I speak with the General, this is urgent." Dan said with a serious tone.

"Of course, he's in there." The receptionist said pointing to the tent.

"Alright I need you four to come with us but be best behavior when we walk in there." Dan said then he looks at Ruby. "That...means you little Red." Ruby made a pout face at that comment.

"Hey I came be reasonable when it is necessary!!" Ruby yelled. The rest of the group head dropped at that comment. 

The group then entered the tent and General Alexander turned around and saw the group.

"May I asked what your doing in here Sargent?" General Alexander asked as he looked at Team RWBY. "And who are they?" pointing to the girls. The girls looked at the American general before them and noticed that he was in the middle of writing a report on a out dated type writer. Team RWBY then realized that this worlds technology was why behind to what remnant had.

"General, We actually found these girls when we were on patrol." Dan said. General Alexander raised a brow at this as he would find it hard to believe that they had found them in the jungle while on patrol. 

"Is this true Private David?" General Alexander asked.

"Yes general it is, but you probably wouldn't believe us if we told you how we found them." David said.

"Try me private." General Alexander said.

One long talk later....Time skip again

"Wow, well that is quite a story." General Alexander said. He could believe that these girls were from another world and the fact that they had taken out a lot of enemy soldiers without a scratch on them.

"Well now that you heard our story what do you plan to do with us?" Ruby asked nervously.

"Well if it were up to me I would recruited you young ladies  into the marine corps and have Sargent Dan here train you." General Alexander said. "But that decision is completely up to you."

"What would be the benefits if we joined you?" Yang said.

"Well, you girls will get food, cloths, and not to mention a roof over your heads." General Alexander said. "That's if you can make it through 8 weeks of boot camp training."

"What kind of training will we be receiving?" Blake asked curiosity. 

"Rifle shooting, obstacle course, crawling through mud, hand to hand combat and a few other things." General Alexander said. "Its either that or go to the states and be homeless. Well what do you say?" 

"Gives us a moment to decide please." Ruby said as she and her team gathered to make a decision. 

"Well what do you guys think we should do?" Ruby asked her team. "I believe we can help these Marines in this conflict."

"I think we should join them and help end this war." Yang said. "If there is no way back we can at least help out others in need."

"I also think that we should help these people." Blake said the group then turned to Weiss.

"Well, if you all think we should join then I might as well agree with you all." Weiss said. After a little more talking more over the whole thing team RWBY then approached the  Marine general.

"Well have you made your decision?" General Alexander asked.

"Yes we have." Ruby said. "We've decided to join the Marine Corps to aid you to end this conflict."

"Very well." General Alexander said. "Your Training will begin in 2 days from now and Sargent Dan Evan will be your instructor through out your training." The girls then looked at Dan who had a surprised look on his face. 

"Why do I have to train them General?" Dan asked. 

"Because you are a qualified man for the job Sargent." General Alexander said. After the whole discussion the group walked out of the tent leaving the general to himself. 

"I don't see how I am qualified to train these girls, but I guess it comes with the job." Dan thought to himself. "This is going to be a long time." he thought.

Time skip again 8 weeks and 10 months later.....(sorry I'm lazy but I'm not going to detail their training.)

Date:  November 17, 1943

Location: inside a US Transport ship on the way to Tarawa, in the Gilbert Islands.

After Team RWBY's training in the Marine Corps they were ready to take on anything that was thrown at them. They all had on there US Marine Corps Combat uniforms on and they were just resting in there bunk beds at the current moment. On the plus side the Team got to keep there personal weapons with them, but they were giving a opportunity to pick weapons from the US arsenal.

(They were all wearing this type of uniform.)

Ruby had Picked a M1903 Springfield sniper rifle for her primary, a Thompson for a secondary and a M1911 for a back up.

Weiss had picked a M1 Carbine for her primary and a Thompson as her secondary and a M1911A1 for back up.

Blake had chosen a M1 Garand for her primary, a M3 grease gun as a secondary and a M1911A1 pistol.

Yang meanwhile had the heaviest weapon of the group as she picked a M1919 Browning Heavy machine gun for her primary, a M1897 trench gun for a secondary and of course a M1911A1 pistol for a back up.

"Ugh...How much longer?!?!" Ruby said sounding bored on the ship.

"Not too much longer Ruby." Yang said as she checked her watch that she had won in a game. "We should be arriving at Tarawa in 3 days time."

"Ugh but I'm so bbbboooooorrrrrrrreeeeedddddd!" Ruby moaned.

"Well these boats don't move as fast as the ones back on remnant." Weiss said.

"Well lets hope we can prove our worth to these Marines and show them that girls can do there jobs just as well as Men can!" Yang said while raising her right hand into the air.

"Lets hope so." Ruby thought to herself as she closed her sliver eyes and went to sleep.
