Khushi was chatting animatedly to his mother sitting in the hall while Arnav was admiring her standing at a distance, A permanent smile plastered on his face.

“What are you doing lad?” He heard his father asking.

“What am I doing?” He frowned, not looking away from the enchanting view his mother and wife presented.

“That's what I am asking Arnav, What's going on?” Arvind asked

“Nothing.”  Arnav shrugged.

“I can see that, clearly.” Arvind remarked teasingly.

“Why are you teasing me like that?” Arnav whined

“You know I love to, Aise maukon ko choda nahi jaata [Chances like these aren't supposed to be let gone of]” Arvind said grinning.

Arnav shook his head, “I can't get enough of these two, Never.” Arnav confessed as the ladies in question giggled at something.

Arvind smiled, “I'm so happy to hear you say that. Finally, happiness has presented itself at our doorstep.” Arvind said gleefully.

“I'll make sure it stays intact forever.“ Arnav said with determination shining in his chocolate orbs.

Arvind nodded. “Arnav, I was thinking of having a reception for the staff. The marriage was an extremely private affair already, But the world sure needs to know that the most eligible bachelor of the fashion industry is now taken.” Arvind winked.

Arnav grinned, “I sure like the sound of that.”

“We can have the Reception on the coming sunday then.” Arvind said, mirth shining in his expressive greyish black eyes.

“Fine by me.” Arnav shrugged in affirmation.

“Great then, Khushi has to join the hospital the week after, right?” Arvind asked

“Yes, That's what she told me.” Arnav nodded.

“Perfect.”

“How much will you talk Hazel?” Arnav exclaimed settling on the armrest of the couch Khushi was sitting in and wrapped his arm around her shoulders.

Khushi looked up at him, “You got a problem with me talking?” She raised her eyebrow at him.

“He's jealous that you're talking to me and not him.” Ratna said matter of factly.

“Is that right Arnav?” Khushi asked ber husband with a playful grin.

“Mother knows her children best Hazel, Don't you know that?” Arnav asked

The two ladies burst into laughter at his response.

“Now that you know.. Can I have my hazel to myself for some time?” Arnav asked

“Arnav!” Khushi looked at him wide eyed.

“What?” Arnav made an innocent face “You're my wife.”

Khushi sighed at his dramatics, “When did Arnav Singh Raizada turn into a dramebaaz?” She asked

“Yesterday, because he got married to the biggest drama queen of the century. Such company has to leave it's mark on oneself.” Arnav winked.

Khushi's eyes turned saucer-like

“I'm going to kill you Raizada!!” Khushi warned, Arnav chuckled sticking his tongue out at her

“Did I lie?” Arnav asked raising his eyebrow at her

“You're gone!!!” Khushi chased after him while Arnav evaded her laughing out loud running around the whole living room.

The family chuckled looking at their children's antics. Arnav ran behind the couch.

“Stop right there Raizada!!” Khushi pointed her finger at him in an intimidating manner.

“You wish Mrs. Raizada.” Arnav grinned and fled in the opposite direction with Khushi following behind.

After fifteen minutes, Khushi was panting heavily.

“I'm tired!” She panted and sat on a nearby chair. Arnav grinned victoriously. Khushi shook her head

“I win Mrs. Raizada.”

“This isn't over yet, It's just the interval.” Khushi said, not giving up.

“Is it? Now.. don't drink water immediately!” Arnav snatched the glass that Khushi had intended on filling for herself.

Khushi frowned, “You'll catch cold!” Arnav said

“It doesn't work that way husband.” Khushi smiled at his concern.

“Really?” Arnav asked innocently.

“You'll get bored if I get into the detailed explanation of why and how common cold happens” Khushi said

“You're right, I'm not interested.” Arnav said

“Now can I drink water?” She asked, Arnav nodded smiling at her and handed the glass back to her.

Khushi filled the glass with water and poured the whole glass on Arnav's head, Arnav looked at her astounded. Khushi grinned “Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada never gets defeated.” Khushi said proudly.

Arnav opened and closed his mouth trying to form a reply, but shook his head at the end as his parents laughed

Khushi was sitting on the bed, with a box lying open in front of her, containing a beautiful diamond pendant. “Who's gift is that?” Arnav asked entering the room.

“NK and La, They left some time ago.” Khushi informed him.

“I know.. They met me before leaving. The pendant is beautiful.” Arnav said picking up the chain and examined the intricate design.

“There are cufflinks in the other box, for you!” Khushi gestured to the other box.

“We've been showered with a lot of gifts.” Arnav remarked.

“Right. But you didn't give me anything.” Khushi pouted, “You were supposed to gift me something on our first night.”

“That's what I forgot to do last night!” Arnav exclaimed at the realisation. “What can I do if I have a sinfully beautiful bride who doesn't let me think of anything other than herself?”

Khushi blushed, Arnav kissed her cheeks.

“Arnav-?!”

“This is what happens every single time you blush.” Arnav said smirking at her.

Khushi blushed even more, hiding in her face in his chest and Arnav chuckled wrapping his arms around her petite body.

“I'm too lucky, You know..” Arnav spoke while still holding his Hazel close to his heart “Because my bride is not only beautiful, but extremely cute and adorable too.”

Khushi smiled into his chest. “And I'm so much in love with her.” Arnav confessed.

“It feels like a dream.” Khushi said in a daze “Like I'll wake up and find myself in my apartment in canada, All alone.”

“It won't happen.” Arnav kissed her hair.

“Promise?”

“Promise baby.” Arnav dropped another kiss on her forehead.

“I love you so much Arnav.. I can't live without you.” Khushi spoke softly

Everything was just too perfect to be true

“I can't live without you either hazel. We won't have to live apart, Ever.”  Arnav said sincerely, So much sincerity that Khushi found herself believing each and every word of her husband.

“Now cheer up my lady, Let's give you your gift.” Arnav said softly, relieved at finding her eyes shining in anticipation.

Arnav walked upto the cupboard, extracting a small box from one of the drawers he walked back to the bed and extended the box to an eager Khushi.

Khushi unwrapped the box excitedly, “Slow down love, You can take all the time in the world.” Arnav chuckled at her impatience.

Khushi pouted, and unwrapped the gift finally revealing a watch.

“It's beautiful” Khushi smiled looking at the watch.

“I'm glad you like it.” Arnav smiled back.

“Why a watch though?” She asked

“So that you find time for me amid your busy work schedule.” Arnav told her

Khushi grinned.
