Promise
(This is one of my favorite poem so far)

Here I am trying to make fool out of myself
Pretending I like someone new
Showing everyone I don't care about you
But if you only knew what I am going through
This heart always belongs to you.

You promised to take care of me but you left me
You promised to give me joy but you brought me tears
You promised to give me love but you brought me pain
I promise you nothing but I gave you everything

I can hear my heart cry as I see you go
And try to smile so you won't know that I'm missing you
But no matter how hard I try
I can still feel the pain
'Cause I know without you, my life is not the same

Never again, that's what I said to myself
I never want to feel this kind of pain
Just when it was over
Just when I thought it was through
I find myself back in love with you.
