Before The Trials Of Apollo-Alternative

But seriously, is no one wondering what the heck happened to Apollo/Lester in the six months before the series tho
Also that picture up there is me screaming.
Take it as a face reveal.

Zeus zapped Apollo back onto Olympus.

Apollo stumbled slightly, causing him to fall on the marble. He grunted, hand slightly trembling as he held himself up to stand. Yet he did not notice the cut in his hand.

Apollo knew that Zeus blamed him for Octavian.

But hey! Being the god of the cosmos is not something you can turn down, right?

As he walked out of the building, the nine muses stopped playing their music and laughing, but they stared at Apollo in horror, sympathy etched in their faces. Nymphs gawked at him and gasped in surprise. Naiads fled into their rivers, not before nodding to Apollo sadly.

Melpomene, the muse of tragedy sashayed up to Apollo, hand on her forehead and back arched.

"Such tragedy, Apollo!" she sighed, hands flowing around her. "such tragedy!"

Urania steered her away from Apollo, and got hit by Melpomene's hands in the face for several times as Melpomene twirled around, who was wailing and sobbing.

Urania ground her teeth together, as she stared at something specific somewhere at the southern regions of Apollo.

Urania sighed and shot a look of sympathy at Apollo.

Apollo blinked. Did something happen or.....

He rubbed his nose instinctively, but then he caught a flash of red on his hand.

Apollo stared in horror at his hands, the red liquid trickling down his wrists from the cut on his hand.

Blood. Not ichor. Blood.

Apollo stumbled slightly, feeling slightly nauseated, unable to register that he had blood running through his veins, not ichor.

Calliope caught his arm. "Dude! Calm down! It might be just temporary!"

Apollo shook his yellow bangs out of his eyes, and sobbed in despair. "No, my dearest Calliope! I am now turning into a human! Look at these! These are blood, not ichor!"

Thalia (like, the muse and not Thalia Grace) plastered a Kermit the Frog bandaid onto the cut.

"Sonny, you can take your time to watch vines and memes and anime now! Grasp the chance when you're still half-god!" Thalia advised, and taped another Success Kid bandaid onto his cut.

Melpomene sighed sadly. "It's a tragedy! Apollo may turn into a mortal and die in agony! Plagued with death and tragedy!"

Melpomene sniffed and let out another dramatic sob.

Clio sighed and dragged a hand across her face. "Melpomene, we need to have a talk where you stop being so dramatic," she mumbled, and dragged Melpomene by the arm to a patch of grass.

Terpsichore grabbed Apollo's arm. "Apoĺlo, the only thing we can hope is that this is temporary. If you actually became a full fledged mortal, the other sun gods can fill in, but you might need to go on quests to prove your worth to gain back your godly place."

Urania nodded. "That's like, the worst situation."

Apollo shuddered. "I beg you, Do not mention of my situation to anyone."

Thalia flipped him a thumbs up. "Sure! Leave it to us! Your secret is save!" Thalia patted Apollo's back.

.....................

"Oh my gods!" A hyacinth dryad jumped in front of Apollo, her red hair hitting his face.

"What?" Apollo asked,  covering his cut on his hand.

"You're becoming mortal? Holy Thor!" She screeched, jumping around in a circle.

Apollo swallowed thickly. "Hyacinth, who told you?"

Hyacinth waved her hands around, eyes wild. "The Nine Muses! They told everyone! And they came separately, which means we heard it nine times," she added.

Apollo pulled a poker face. Can't rely on the muses, can I, Apollo mused.

Hyacinth pulled Apollo's hand to her face, and she put a magnifying glass in front of her face, mouth gaping.

"Holy you! You're bleeding blood!" Hyacinth screeched. Apollo winced.

"GUYS! IT'S TRUE!" Hyacinth yelled, and about a hundred dryads surrounded them, flailing their arms and leaves of different kind smacked Apollo in the face.

"Oh my gods!" Lily the spirtual-dryad gasped, sitting on Apollo's head.

Apollo grumbled.

Cactus swaddled up to Apollo. "Dude, you'll die like this!" He swung an arm around Apollo's shoulders. Apollo pushed Cactus away.

Apollo was determined to exterminate all of them and he put his arms out to blast out a godly burst of light.

Apollo blinked twice. He flipped his hands and shook them a few times. Nothing happened, and Apollo sucked in a large breath.

Everyone screamed.

"Holy Gods!" Rose yelled. "Apollo lost his powers!"

Venus Fly trap slapped her. "No, stupid! Only a portion of them!" Venus Fly Trap huffed.

"Ohhhh," everyone muttered.

Apollo hissed in anger, and flew away in the form of a swan.

Hyacinth blinked twice. "Swans can fly?"

...............

"Artemis!" Apollo sled across the  wooden floors of his sister's fortress somewhere in Albania.

Artemis huffed and threw a monkey at him.

"Who are you, kid? Mortals aren't allowed around here!" Artemis shrieked, and shoved Apollo out.

Apollo blinked twice.

"Artemis! I am no mortal! I am Apollo, your brother!" Apollo cried, wringing his hands, brushing a lock of brown hair from his eyes.

Apollo stopped. Brown hair. Not sun-shiny luxurious beautiful yellow locks.

Artemis glared at Apollo.

"Well, you don't look like Apollo! Apollo will not allow his face to have blackheads and zits, dimwit!" Artemis shrieked again, silver hair whipping around.

Apollo fled, not knowing that almost all his godly self has been stripped away and given to the centaur Chiron in Camp Half Blood.

Apollo went around the world, visiting every single god and goddess on Earth. No one recgonised him, only Aphrodite did, but others shot him ugly looks and called him a worthless mortal, except Hestia, who was visiting.

"Now, child, explain," Hestia said softly, handing him a cup of hot chocolate.

Apollo's throat clogged up. He hasn't faced such kindness in such long time.

Apollo was about to explain, but as soon he opened his mouth, a lightning bolt struck him, and he felt himself getting teleported, conscious slipping away.

Hestia gaped at him flying across the planet.

..................

Apollo landed on all fours in front of the Olympians.

His eyes burned with tears of humiliation, and everyone cried out in disbelief at his puny self.

Artemis rushed down to help him up, but Zeus pushed her back with a gust of wind.

"Father!" Artemis yelled, "there must be another way!"

Apollo barely registered anything that later happened, only remembering Artemis giving a warm hug and pushing him down Olympus.
