The next day Sergei met with Manya. They both didn't overreact or anything, it was more like a business meeting than anything. It was funny to Sergei, his heart was heavy after the meet-up. He managed to convince her to leave him and the kids alone. All the memories they had together flooded like film in his mind as he rode the bus home. Sergei got home and called William. He needed someone to talk to, and William was there happy to listen to everything.

.....Leda remembered William mentioning his "boyfriend not boyfriend" as she liked to call him needed to get a job. He was practically whining about it for a week straight. She mentioned this to Maric, her wife and they both decided to give their friend, Mr. Martin, a call. They explained the situation to him and he agreed to help. Martin was an older gentleman, someone who hired anyone, not caring about their background and seeing the good in everyone. That next morning Mr. Martin kissed his husband goodbye and went off to meet Sergei. 

He had sent an email to Sergei and they arranged to meet at a small cafe, not Sweet grans because he wanted to do this where nobody knew each other which he thought was fair. The two sat down and they talked. Mr. Martin wanted to hire him as his business's accountant and overall money manager. He laid out everything in front of Sergei and asked him. Sergei thought about the proposal for a few minutes, he agreed because that was better and that it might make it might allow those around him to worry less... 

... it had been a few weeks since Sergei worked for Mr. Martin's company. It was so much more relaxed than what he was used to, the workflow was a normal amount, and he got breaks and holidays. He homes more often, which made his kids pretty happy. Sergei looked at his phone to see William sent him a picture. It was William covered in leaves and petals but he held a gorgeous bouquet with a wide smile on his face. ' This was a pretty big order!' Sergei couldn't help but chuckle slightly.

Then Tony sent pictures as well. They were no longer coworkers but somehow they became friends Tony often shared pictures and told how things were with his fiance and Sergei would share with him as well. Sergei had managed to make some acquaintances, not sure if they were friends yet, in his new job. Each of them was vastly different but was good in its ways. William sent another text asking if Sergei was free after work. He was, so he agreed to meet after work. William sent saying that he hoped this could be a date if that was alright with Sergei....a date...DATE!?!
