In a world different from ours there are monsters called Reapers. These monster steal parts of a human's soul and take some of their emotions with it. But, every century there are five humans that are so filled with this emotion that Reapers can not take it. They are the Defenders and strive to protect humanity....

But,as we all know

Even mighty heroes fall.....

The five that had been the most remembered and strongest were going to die.....They were in the town center when they were caught off guard, not ready for the ambush of Reapers that attacked them. Knowing that they would die, they pulled the magic out of them and threw it to the heavens, for it to return to the most capable of youth to wield.
