October, 2019
We were mostly used to each other by October. We had a nice pattern of starting each day with a good morning text and ending it with a goodnight text, always followed by a red heart and sometimes the little kissy face. In school we had no classes together, but met up most mornings before class for a quick hug. After lunch while I headed to my fifth period Spanish class and Brayden his American literature, we'd meet half way and step to the side of the hall for another quick hug and conversation. We'd try to hang out once or twice during the week and once on the weekend. My parents forced me to invite him over every other week, claiming I couldn't just hang out at his house. Fair enough, in a way. Still, we preferred to be at his house. His parents were a lot less strict than mine. We could hang out in his bedroom or the basement by ourselves so long as we kept the door a little open. This arrangement was nice and allowed us many fun afternoons. We'd do a few minutes of homework, watch a part of a show, cuddle and make out. He'd give me sweet massages and compliments as I laid in his chest, watching it rise and fall with breath. We'd take his dog for walks around his neighborhood when his mom insisted on it. He opened up to me and told me about fears no one else know of and this strengthened our relationship, on my end at least.
