I was fifteen when we met. I'd just got my first kiss over with just weeks earlier and now I was bored. Adrian, my summer crush of four long years and the guy responsible for the kissing was long gone. He lived in Kent, four long hours from me and was far too busy for me now that camp was over. Whatever. I didn't need him. To make myself remember this little fact I made plans to hang out with my friend, Kaylynn. Kaylynn was and to this day still is my wildest friend. She tested limits no one else I knew would, especially ones concerning guys. I figured hanging out with her would surely have me forgetting Adrian in minutes. I was right.
