Part Eighteen:

A pizza delivery? When did Bled ever know that she loves pizza? Rys attempted to hide the twinkle in her green eyes but failed to do so as the vampire quickly perceived her happy expression. As the result, Bled grinned.

Hihi, Pinkie's right.

Rys do love pizza. Bled grinned to himself as he watched the human boy walked towards them with a box of pizza in his hands. With a shocked look, the green eyed girl gave him a quick glance and asked for a second if what she is seeing is really true.

Mr. Cross nodded.

"I heard from Pin-"

Pin- ?

Pinkie?!

"That damn Pinkie!" Rys muttered, yet she got a smile in her face. She wasn't mad at all. Even more, she was happy and contented that Bled still asked Pinkie for whatever she likes. Mr. Cross is really a nice dude. A nice boyfriend package he would make out to be.

Bled somehow misunderstood it as he asked her in a puzzled manner whether she likes the pizza he bought for her. Ir's such a waste. And the science teacher thought that she would love the pizza. If she doesn't want it, then he would just buy another one for her.

"No."

"I like it," Rys whispered.

She likes it? Bled's lips formed a big smile as he loves the fact that she do likes his idea of buying a pizza for her. As the pizza delivery guy gave him the pizza, he paid him back.

"So, girlfriend?" Pizza delievery guy went nosy as he questioningly glanced at the black haired girl for a short second with a smile.

A teasing smile in fact!

Rys burned in awkwardness as the vampire beside her answered him with a shy grin, pulling her small figure closer to his chest as he gave out the answer, "I hope so."

Hope so?

The pizza delivery guy looked at her this time; but Rys was speechless, so she only responded with an uneasy laugh.

Bled, please stop with the nonsense.

She wanted to say that but couldn't as she does not want to ruin this date they have. The human boy eventually left them alone as her green eyes stared at the box of pizza with longing.

"Is that Hawaiian?

"Yes." Bled smiled when her green eyes gave out a twinkle of delight once more. Puttimg down the box of pizza in a gentle manner, the pair soon sat down in the blanket.

Rys was still left shocked at what he said awhile ago. Hope so? Bled even thought that she's his girl friend already. Unfortunately she isn't; and besides that, she still others.

With a small weak smile, the human girl looked at the vampire and saw the efforts he is trying to make for the date to be the best date ever. He even tried to feed her a pizza, but she quickly shoved it away.

As if she'll let him.

Rys laughed. "Stupid mate!"

Stupid he really is as he pouted from the small rejection she gave for the pizza he was trying to feed to her. When the girl only laughed, he pouted even more as he sulkily ate the pizza instead with a grumpy mood.

Is he and the scary vampire before really the same person? The human girl could only see the childishness Mr. Cross gives off right now. It even hard to determine that he is her teacher. She looked at him with interest as Bled neatly ate her favorite food.

Aish, not a pure heartless monster at all.

The blonde haired vampire looked at her with his blue eyes. Suddenly smiling his charming smile, he offered her a pizza from the box. The human girl smiled back as she happily accepted the pizza from his hand.

"Thanks," she murmured.

Bled grinned as he smoothly spoke, "Anything for you, Rys!" Later watching the girl finished her pizza in a few minutes. Rys hadn't ate since lunch, so she is really hungry right now. Bled gave her wide blue eyes as he quickly grabbed another pizza and gave it to her.

"Oh, thanks again." She shyly blushed.

Bled softly smiled at her as he thought of her so adorable. She's so cute whenever she blushes. "Go continue eating. Tell me if you ever want more pizza, and I'll buy it for you."

Rys unsurely smiled.

"Uh, okay." But in her thoughts, she was asking to herself whether Bled is trying to fatten her up for his dinner.

Bled Cross suddenly got quite stupid as she was about to devour her fourth pizza. Gasping from the sudden sight of his head resting on her lap, she forgot about the pizza as she tried to push away the man from her.

"What are you doing?"

Bled softly smiled with his eyes closed, totally enjoying the rest. "Sleep."

Oh my gosh (ﾉД')

"Like sleep on my lap. Really?"

"Really," he said.

Rys raised her eyebrow. "And on the date."

Bled snapped his blue eyes open because that just sounds so wrong. Sleeping during the date isn't a nice idea at all because how the hell could they date when he's sleeping. Quickly, he pulled himself away from the girl and sat properly.

"Way to ruin the best date you've promised," she said as she chuckled to herself. Happily eating the pizza afterwards under the blue eyes of his vampire mate. Mr. Cross couldn't help but imagine of tasting her pink lips once again as she ate the pizza in a clean manner.

Heh. She kissed him.

From what he remembers.

Mr. Cross is happy with that, but he wonders who is her first kiss. It angers him a little to think that there's a probability other men have claimed those lips before. She noticed her expression and tilted her head at him.

"What?"

A little bit self-conscious as she asked that in a puzzled manner because her face must be in a mess that must have made him that disgusted look over his handsome face.

Unexpectedly, he slowly leaned in his handsome face closer to hers. Wait. He's nearing his face. Is he planning to kiss her? Quickly, the human girl turned to the other side, not wanting her second kiss to be taken once again. Rys smiled in victory when he only managed to kiss her cheek.

"Done kissing me?"

He flushed as he shyly scratched the back of his neck at his failed attempt of kissing her lips. "Yea," he mumbled.

Rys laughed as she suddenly craved for desserts, probably some ice cream. With hopeful green eyes, the human girl turned to her vampire mate with a very cute look. "Con you do me some favor?"

Instantly, Bled straightened his body posture as he energetically nodded with a sweet smile. "Sure, sure! I'm willing to do anything for you."

"Like kill yourself," she joked.

Bled had gotten so stupid these past few days that he immediately believed her. With a sad face, he softly said yea and asked how should he kill himself.

Is he serious?

Rys gawked at him.

"I'm just kidding!" She let out a small weak laugh as she didn't like the way how her vampire mate responds to her like that. Mr. Cross would really kill himself if she asks him to? That isn't good news at all.

"And please don't be stupid to say that."

Bled gave her an adorable look, happy that isn't what she is asking for him. Rys, with a small smile, finally asked for some ice cream. She even clasped her hands together as she gazed at him with green eyes.

"Huh?"

"Flavour is chocolate too!" she exclaimed once more while her face beamed in delight. Bled wasn't pleased with the favor because he knows that he would have to her here if he's going to buy some icecream for her.

"But I can't just leave you here."

"Aw." Rys pouted at him with sadness, causing for Mr. Cross to scratch his head as he tried his best to resist his cuteness. He felt his hands started to sweat, so he wiped his hands off his shirt.

"Please," she pleaded.

And of course, he couldn't resist her very cute charms; so in the end, he swallowed his saliva and forced out a small smile.

"Fine. Just stay here. I'll buy some chocolate ice cream for you."

Rys eagerly nodded to all her words, happy that he finally gave in to her requests. Although he was really reluctant with it. Still with the fake smile, he stood up and was about to walk away when the girl tugged his arm. She peered at him with twinkling happy green eyes.

"I gotta be honest. I thought that this date is boring," she bluntly stated.

But it's so true!

They didn't really do much here.

That strucked Bled so painfully. Boring? She found this boring, but why? He found this picnic date to be fun. His blue eyes were about to get teary when Rys continued. Her close eyed smile now becoming a sweet smile.

Bled had to prevent himself from sighing in a dreamy manner. "But, I appreciate your efforts," she said with her eyes now open. Her green eyes were twinkling as it gazed at his blue pupils with blissful happiness.

Nodding at her, Bled blushed. His lovely mate then retreated her hands from his arm as he smiled once again and continued on his way.

Rys silently watched his back disappear before glancing up at the sky. It was a cloudy afternoon; and she got to admit, it isn't a good time to date. But somehow, she found herself enjoying the date as time passed by.

Exhausted, she laid her head on Bled's bag as she closed her green eyes for a moment of rest. Ah, she comfortably thought. Rys opened her eyes but didn't see the skies?

But a wolf?

In alarm, her body froze.

What the f*ck should she do? Play dead? Call for her Bled? But both of the options are too stupid to be used. The gray coated wolf growled at her as if he is commanding her to stay quiet. Deep in her thoughts, she didn't notice that wolf already become a half naked man.

F*ck! Only did she realize it when that man grabbed her hair. Rys blushed upon perceiving his handsome features, but her blush vanished when she felt the sharp pang of pain from her black hair being pulled.

She gritted her teeth.

Damn!

Tears even started to blur her eyesight. That damn evil man was even smirking when he did that cruel thing! Then in a flash, he let go of her hair and grabbed her by the chin.

He knocked her to the ground.

Hard!

It f*cking hurts! Her vision slowly blackened as the last thing she saw was that evil man who is slowly walking to her helpless figure. The human girl attempted to call for help; but it is all futile, for she finally passed out from the pain.
