Inside the plane

Manik's POV

What the fu** just happened. She can't just go and come back anytime. I wasn't prepared for her arrival. She wasn't supposed to come back for 2 years and 8 more months. Why the heck did I not yell at her when I first saw her. God!!! What was expecting that she would bump into me and I would hug her and twirl her around. I just blank out when I first saw her.

Why is my heart still pounding so loud? I am in the plane and I am just up in the sky; maybe that's why. Why is the plane flying so slow? God how the heck am I supposed to pass 15 hours now. Wait, she is back forever or she is back for some days. I won't be back till Friday. What if she leaves before I come back. Oh lord, can they stop the flight in the middle and I can hop out. Great, Manik Malhotra hop out from the plane in the middle and land where? You stupid! God, I just saw her for 2 minutes and I am already losing my mind. I hate you Nandini Murthy for doing this to me.

Jaan's room

Navya comes inside and finds Jaan sleeping in a very uncomfortable position. Her laptop is open, a few flies open and spread all over bed. Navya shakes her head negatively and closes her laptop, gathers all files together and taps on Jaan's shoulder. With the sudden tap Jaan's open her eyes with a jerk

J: Sorry sorry I am working, I am working I just dozed off I didn't realized

Nav puts her hand on her shoulder: Jaan calm down. It's just me and night time why are you still working. It's time for bed, get your beauty sleep so you're fresh for tomorrow.

J: Navya, hum sahi toh kar rahe hai nah?

Navya sits on Jaan's bed: Jaan I think the time passed long back to think about these questions and look for answers.

J: I just want them to be together

Nav: Me too but none of them talked about each other to us. Like we both been in touch with Nandini all these, she supported us from far but she never directly asked about Manik

J: When I was in London for my college she became my guiding light. She was just a call away, hamesha. She took care of them just the way Bhai does. She was always there to listen to me but never shared her insecurities and her pain. I am not even sure if she is waiting for Bhai or not; the way I don't if bhai is waiting for her not. Bhai will be so angry if he finds out that we are in touch with her

Nav: Tum toh bach jaogi but me - no chance! He will just kill me!

J: Bha.... I mean Nandini dd hasn't responded to message since last couple days

Nav: Oh I text her about half an hour ago. She told me she was busy in her residency and she is doing night shifts

"Your total is 4325 rupees" cashier spoke

J: Aap sab ki salary ayegi nah mein aap sab se paise lungi

Nav: Le lena!

"Mujh se bhi paise logi"

Jaan and Navya just turned and get the beautiful shock of their life
