Jaan comes inside with the food trolly.

J: I know apne aache se nahi khaya. I am hungry too

M: Are you still angry?

Jaan hugs him tight: I am sorry bhai. I know you are doing this for me. You know it takes me time to understand things. I promise I'll work hard in the office aur apko shikayat ka koi mauka nahi dungi

M shakes his head and thinks: Off course apni Nandini dd se baat karke aai hai toh uski language bhi bolegi nah but still apne bhai se share nahi karegi!

J: Bhai, where are you lost?

M: Yahi hu! Chal let's have dinner I am very hungry

Both the siblings started eating food with lots of laughter. Outside the 5 friends are looking at them with aww.....

Mu: Mujhe laga tha Jaan will be angry for days

A: Yeah, but see hamari Jaan kitni samajhdaar hai. She accepted her mistake and apologized

Navya thinks: Aab inn sabko kaise batao ki Jaan ko samajhdaar kisne banaya. Nandini tu wapas aa tujhe bata hu. Itne saalo se sach chupa rahi hu aab toh mere pet mein bhi dard ho raha hai

Manik cups her cheeks: You take care too. Don't stress yourself too much and know bhai is so proud of you. Abb kya sab Canada tak chaloge? I am not a kid yaar mujhe see off karne ke liye puri barat aai hai

C: Woh bhi jaldi aayegi

Mu: Shut up Cabir!

M: Bye guys

Inside the airport

M thinks: This is not my first international trip but why do I feel restless today. Maybe Mukti was right. I need to look at my eating patterns and sleeping habits. Why is my heart pumping so fast? God, don't tell me I am having a heart attack. Manik calms down. I think I am just thinking too much. I am going to Canada leaving Jaan here may be I am worried about her and that's why I am behaving like this. Pani, yeah I should drink water. It will calm my nerves.

"Manik hears boarding announcement for his flight"

Time to board Manik, he reminds himself and gets up and move towards the boarding line suddenly from nowhere he bumped into someone and all his stuff fell down

"I am so sorry! I am just in rush dekha hi nahi. Are you fine? Did you get hurt?"

The girl starts picking all his stuff and starts babbling non-stop without looking at the person. After picking all his stuff she looked up to apologize one more time but her breath got stuck in her throat. Her eyes met the intense brown orbs who has been intensely looking at her petite frame the whole time she was ranting sorry and picking his stuff

"Manik...."

Manik came out of his trance and look at her again to confirm if he is dreaming and hallucinating her again

"Manik...."

Huh?

"Final call for Manik Malhotra Flight number ADB-1256 doors will be closed in 2 minutes. Final call for Manik Malhotra"

Manik looked at the speaker where his name was echoing in the whole boarding area.

"Manik...."

"Nandini...."

Unsure of how to initiate the conversation in such unexpected meeting

M: How're you Nandini?

N: Good! Tum?

M: Yes, all good!

"Final call for Manik Malhotra Flight number ADB-1256 doors will be closed in A MINUTE. Final call for Manik Malhotra"

N: Final call for you. Woh log tumhe bula rahe hai.

M: Yeh

N: Nice meeting you

Nandini not sure how to say bye come forward for a hug but Manik forward his hand

M: Yeh time for ME TO GO!

Manik and Nandini shook hands

N: Yeh, bye

M: Bye

Manik without turning back went straight to the boarding area gave his passport and went inside the plane

Nandini's parents get pleasantly shocked and surprised to see their daughter home

R: Nandu tu yaha?

Radha hugged her daughter tight

N: Amma I thought to give you guys a surprise so I came!

S: Nandu ....

Nandini hugged her dad tight

S: what about your residency you said it will take 3 years

N: Appa I just came and instead of being happy you are inquiring me why am I back?

S: Sorry baccha

N: I am back aapa! I am not going back!

R: You go freshen up and I will get food ready

N: Amma I am not hungry but I'm jet lagged and sleepy so I will go freshen up and sleep

After the shower Nandini comes out and stand in front of the mirror lost in her thought

When Manik said it's HIS TIME TO GO, why did it prick my heart. Did he mean that he is going away from me this time? Nandini what's wrong with you it's you who always pushed him away. You can't get him back whenever you want and push him according to your convenience. It doesn't work that way.

Does that mean he moved on? He is not waiting for me? Navya and Jaan never mentioned anything about Manik dating in the last 8 years and 8 months. Nandini you are so stupid you broke up with him when you left so how can you expect him to wait for you. What was I expecting that I will just come after years and Manik will welcome me with his open arms. Nandini you lost him because of your stubbornness but what could I have done? I wanted to come right after graduation but I couldn't. Situation didn't let me come right after.

It's not only about 8 months extra stay in the United States Nandini; you didn't let him visit you in the last whole 8 years. Contacting him was out of the context but you blocked him from all your social media. But I did that so he can focus on his career and I could focus on mine. Look now he is the youngest self made billionaire under 30. Was I really wrong to think that way? I know Manik I have hurt you the most but trust me I haven't been happy myself. I can't go back and change what happened. Maybe we could have survived long distance, maybe we wouldn't have. I don't know the answer but I was scared to think about long distance. None, literally no one I know have survived long distance that to 8 years long distance.

We were just 18-19 years old at that time Manik and I had to make a life long decision; I was scared. See, now I am 26 and you're 27 soon turning 28. I don't know about you but I have changed so much. Now I look at things differently and I am pretty sure you do the same. You have matured into this amazing man that I am so proud of. You have rebuilt Malhotra industries, took care of Jaan as a parent and always hold your friend together. What else could I hope for Manik.

Actually I am happy that we didn't do a distance relationship because I know I couldn't have handled our relationship. I couldn't hold the urge to run back to you and never leave your arms and I know finding me in that state, you wouldn't have stopped yourself from coming to me. Par kab tak aate Manik tum, aur mein kab tak tumhe bulati. I have college and you have Malhotra Industries here. We have our own lives and our own path to follow.

I am proud of you Manik and I am proud to call you my first love! I am not 18 any more and I can't behave like one. Dr. Nandini Murthy, Cardiologist Resident, get a grip of yourself.
