Sometimes
I wish someone would
Enter the room
When the music is too loud
And put their hands over my ears
And pull the earbuds out
And hold me
And say,
"Don't abuse your eardrums
It isn't their fault.
I know you're not okay
But you will be
And if for some reason that never happens
I'm here for you no matter what."
