Takes two to argue
Takes two to cause trouble
Oh, and trouble he was.
Troubled, I was.
Troubled and in a bad place
I let him in and didn't see
That he was so bad for me

But I thought otherwise
I thought it was okay
I don't know how I lost my mind

And all my common sense
But away it went
And it took a crash

For me to realize just what a mistake
We were.

My mind is overloaded
With post-traumatic stress
And memories I tried to repress
