I opened the door and almost screamed my lungs out.  There stood my dream man, soaked in rain, looking at me with a sad face.

"Can you help me please? I just got robbed and I need a place to crash please." Mark said guilt hinting in his voice. I stood there for a few moments wondering what to say. "Of course come on in!" I said a little too cheerfully. "What really! I wouldn't expect anyone to let a random stranger into their house." "Oh, you're not a stranger!" That came out a little too quickly for me to catch it... oops.

"Oh. So you're a fan?" I couldn't speak, I was too embarrassed so I just nodded yes. "Well that's great!" Mark yells out of happiness. "Hey buddy, neighbors." "Oh sorry." he says. "Here, lets get you some warm and clean clothes. My ex left some of his clothes here. I'll let you pick some out. Come with me." I beckoned Mark to follow me. He picked out his clothes and I took his, washed and dried them while he was in the shower.

When Mark came out I was just getting dressed in my pyjamas. I have no idea why I didn't do it earlier. It was a T-shirt and pants. To be specific, a Markiplier shirt and pants... He walked out to living room where I was and suddenly stopped in his tracks. I looked down to see what he was looking at. I half-expected him to have noticed my pyjamas, but no. He had noticed my scars. He ran over to me and grabbed my arm. "Why? Why would you cut yourself? You're beautiful." He was full on sobbing. I was starting to tear up too.

"I-I'm sorry." I choked on my words as I spoke. "I'm so so sorry. I have to go to bed. You can sleep in the guest room. See you in the morning." I through him a fake smile and bolted to my bedroom. I was very tempted to cut but I knew I had to resist it with Mark around. I got into bed and tried to calm down. When I was really close to falling asleep, I heard my door creak open. I also felt Mark climb into bed with me, and he started hugging me. I instantly felt calmer. "Shh, just sleep. I'll protect you." Mark whispered. "Good night." I said groggily. Then I fell asleep.
