I have these strong, warm arms around me. They were so comfortable that I didn't want to leave them. They had a sense of a familiar feeling to them. I know that I have been in these arms before. I didn't want to go, not yet. I move my head so I can hear the heartbeat of my mysterious holder. I hear a steady heartbeat, strong and beautiful. I hear a small whisper from my holder.

"You know, you didn't have to go. I wouldn't have thought any different about you, because I also loved you." I look up to see Ty smiling. I start to tear up, knowing that the tears will roll down my cheeks. Ty reaches his hand up to wipe them away. 

"There's no need to cry. It's okay. It's also my fault, not just yours." He looks up at the blank emptiness of the room. When he looks down he's also crying.

"But Ty, you didn't leave me, I left you." He nods his head knowing that I'm right. He tightens his grip on me, hugging me harder. 

"Kit I hope you know that every day, every night, I sit there thinking about the memories we spent together. I still have hope for us. Don't lose it. Don't lose all hope." I move my head again to hear his heartbeat. This time, there was no heartbeat.

"Ty?" I look up at him, but suddenly he's gone. 

I sit up from my bad dream, well sorta bad dream. I hear Mina crying so I get up to check up on her.

"What's wrong Mina?" I go over to her bed and sit on the edge.

"Kitty, I had a bad dream. Mommy was gone an-and Daddy was far away. I tried to get him but he was too far! Kitty, I'm scared. I want a hug." I go over and pick her up to hug her. This reminds me of the time Ty and I were on the roof, the time he got scared and I hugged him until he calmed down.

"Kitty, why are you crying?" I let Mina go to look at her. She noticed that I was crying; I didn't know myself that I was crying.

"Oh, Mina. It's fine. I just remembered something, that's all. No need to worry." She looks at me with a young child's angry face.  She flops onto my waist and pulls me into a hard, tight hug.

"Kitty, I promise to protect you from the nasty monsters who make you cry! I will grow up to be a strong Mina and be super duper strong to make everyone who dares make you cry to go away! All you have to do is promise me you will do the same for me. Promise?" She looks at me with loving, curious eyes

"Yes, Mina. I will."

"Good. But first you have to grow up to be a strong Kitty first!" I look at her with a look of confusion.

"Aren't I already strong?"

"Nope. Not nearly, Kitty. Look at those spaghetti arms! You need to grow to be big!"

"Okay Mina, time to go to bed." I lay her under the blankets.

"Kitty, will you stay with me tonight?" I nod my head. She scotches over to make space for me.

"Sure Min, why not."
