The Children

Another unnamed pony appeared, and she was indeed a child.  The Dreamer renamed her Blondie because of her blond locks.  Her complexion was pink, filled with silver sparkles.  It was not until the dreamer had grown that she was able to find out on the internet that her original name was Star Flower, which her children adored.  She turned her bright blue eyes to the little girl with wings, and said "Moonbeam!"

"My friend!" said the little one.  Star Flowers form changed, and the two friends hugged.  She then looked down at her new set of clothes.  "Wow!  I'm a girl!"

Star Flower giggled as she twirled around.

"You look so cute!" said Rainbow.

"Why do you think we match?" asked Star Flower, noticing the shoes matched David's and River's.

"I'm your grandfather," said David.  "Does that mean I need to call you 'Pop?"

"Hmmmm.  Pop.  I like it.  It could go for either father or grandfather."

"So be it then," said Bow Tie.

"I guess that means we'll be calling you 'Ma'," said Rainbow to Bowtie.

"I think I'll stick to calling you 'mother,'" said Truly.

"Either way sounds fine to me," said Bow Tie.

"Why do you think I'm sparkly if I'm a girl?" asked Star Flower.

"Whatever the Dreamer decides to be, will be," said Bow Tie.  "But what comes to my mind, is a diva."

"What's a diva."

"Depends on what part of the world you're in," said David.  "In the old texts, it is associated with the Divine."

"Like an angel?" asked Star Flower.

"Something like that," said Pop.  "But no wings."

"I'm also thinking of a Star nymph," said Truly.  "They didn't have wings, but they could walk or float at will."

"You mean I can fly?" asked Star Flower excitedly.  She began to float around.  Moonbeam giggled and spread her little wings.

As they were playing, another pony appeared, and then there were two.  Their coat was pale pink, and their hair was white.  More blue eyes stared back at the other ponies.  They were the smallest of all.  Very young.  They only giggled when they saw the others.  They were Sniffles and Snookums.

"More twins!" said River.

"These toys belonged to the Dreamer's little sister, but she never forgot playing with them," said Pearl.  "I'm so glad to see them reunited."

Their forms changed and their clothes appeared.

The entire group fell in love with these little ones.  Gasps and "Awww" filled the void.  Even Pop smiled endearingly at the little twins.  River simply rolled his eyes.  "Girls," he said, though he thought they were cute too.

Another pony appeared.  She was white, with rainbow hair.  She had no mark, as she was not a pony produced by Mattel.  She was different, as was Bow Tie.  She had almond eyes as well, and her hooves were painted blue.

"Mama?" said Baby Clyde questioningly, looking at everyone.  Baby Clyde, unlike the rest of the baby ponies, was sold with her mother while they were still in the package.  Her form changed, and then her clothes appeared.

"You are just precious," said Rainbow.  Baby Clyde shied away.

"Baby Clyde, Baby Clyde, do you want to play?" asked Star Flower and Moonbeam."

"I want my Mama," said Baby Clyde as she began to cry.

"Come here, little one," said Bow Tie.  "We have just enough room before we head to the next chapter.  Your mother will appear."

She did appear.  She hardly stayed a pony for long, the exact replica of her daughter.  Her clothing appeared too.

"Mama!" cried baby Clyde, running into her mother's arms.

"My baby," said Mama Clyde, scooping her up in her arms.

"We are really going to have to give them some new names," said Pearl.  "It will be confusing for the future readers when we are made into characters.

"I imagine most of us will," said Pop.

"I think we have room for one more," said Bow Tie.  "Who do you think should come?"

"Gabby," said Mama Clyde, looking at the young twin girls.  "Definitely Gabby."

Gabby was one of the larger ponies, though not the biggest.  She had pink skin of her own, long pink hair that almost touched the ground with swirls of blue.  She was a toy that could talk.  "I love you."  "Comb my hair."  "I love you."  "I'm pretty!"  Those were the things she said as battery operated.  She came.  "I love you," she said.

"We love you too, Gabby."

"Thank you.  Woah wait!  I can talk?"

"This time for real," said River.

"I can talk!  I can speak!  Wait, why couldn't the rest of you before?  And how come we aren't ponies anymore?"

"We were plastic," said Pearl.

"And I was the only one with batteries," said Gabby.  "But now.."

Her form shifted.  Her clothes appeared.

Not even noticing her clothes, Gabby rushed to her twins the moment she saw them.

"Oh, they are so beautiful."

"Mama."  "Mama."

She began to cry.

Mama Clyde smiled.  "I told you it should be her.  No mother should have to be separated that long."

"Yes," said Bow Tie.  "The Dreamer would have picked her due to their shade of skin.

"We match," said Gabby.

"And you used to play together when the Dreamer would get to visit her grandmothers."

"Yes," said Gabby.  "I was their mother in the Dreamer's eyes from the moment we met."

"As was I with my little Moonbeam," said Rainbow.

"Do you think my Mama is really my Mama?" asked Star Flower.

"Of course she is," said Bow Tie.

"I mean like Clyde and Baby Clyde.  They came from the same package."

"Probably not," said Rainbow.

"But we look the same," said Star Flower.  "I think we were part of the same franchise.  Do you think she could have been my mother from the cartoon?"

"I don't think even the Dreamer knows that for certain, child," said Pops.  "But one thing is for certain.  We are a family now."

"And I will be giving my little treasures their own piece of jewelry, in honor of the mother daughter bond," said Gabby.

"We shall see what the Dreamer picks for you in the next book," said Bow Tie.
