Veronica's pov
I walked with Amanda the rest of the day. Luckily we had all of the same classes. Before I knew it it was lunch.
"Follow me" Amanda said grabbing my arm and pulling me to the cafeteria
She waves too 2 girls at a table. One has light brown hair pigtails, freckles, and glasses, the other also has glasses, and she has straight black hair. Still dragging me behind her as she walks over to them.
"Hi" the one with pigtails says to Amanda
She sits down and pulls me with her.
"Hi guys, this is V" Amanda says
"Hello" the black haired one says "I'm Crystal"
"And I'm Faith" pigtails says
"Well nice to meet you" I say
I grab my lunch, put in my ear buds, and start eating. I look over to see that they are talking.
After a few minutes I feel a tap on the shoulder. I look over at them and take out my ear buds.
"We want to know a bit more about you." Faith says "Like whats your favorite color"
"Um, I like black" I say "I'm adopted, I have a 5-year-old sister, my father killed my mother when I was 11, my father was killed in prison, and used to live in Florida"
They all looked at me with a shocked face
"What do you guys not like Florida or something" I said
They just kept looking at me until the bell rang. Next challenge P.E.
