I hear the sirens around the corner. My sister is crying in my arms. I'm really tired. It's 2 in the morning. I'm in my PJs. My mom is dead in the house. My father has already run away. When the cops get here one of them takes my sister. The others rush inside. I see my mom on a stretcher with a blanket covering her face. One of the officers comes up to me. He tries to distract me. I still hear my sister crying in the background. I get into the car next to my sister. I don't know where we're going. But I hope It's far away from here.
