Yes, I know what some of you are probably thinking.

"Woah woah, this is way too early! You haven't even finished the second book of Stolen Powers yet!"

Well, my response to that is, this series has gotten WAY more positive reviews than that one. Sure, I know I said that I wanted Mason to be in the spotlight too, especially since The Mansion didn't accomplish that.

(Anyone even remember that?)

I'm not saying that I'm going to quit that. I just want to put it on hold for now and begin work on this one, since I want to do the same as well. But please, please, pretty please with a cherry on top, if you want me to get another chapter of that out, damn it, I'll do it! I'm doing all of this for you guys, of course!

Now, let's talk Insanity. This is the final book of the Whatever It Takes trilogy, and honest to God, I've never been so excited in my life. I'm going to work on this one harder than I ever have before, and I'm going to make it good.

To recap the ending of Mutations, Jeremy and the gang defeated Victor van Zandt and his Raider gang that attacked Bryan's camp in Memphis when the government officially collapsed under itself. Unfortunately, General Jordan Navarez was killed in action after the battle ended, alongside Joshua who was killed on the way there with Bethany, who survived. On top of that, William's injuries from Greenville have only gotten worse since that battle. Damien has told Jeremy that he believes that the father may or may not live until this is over.

Alright, now let's get to the story. I hope you enjoy it as much as I will!

Jeremy Mills (16)- the protective brother of his two siblings, Braxton and Olivia. He's concerned about the rapidly cooling weather, but he hasn't said much about it. His feeling for Evelyn haven't quite developed, and he's unsure if it ever will.

Olivia Mills (11)- sister of two brothers, and the unfortunate middle child, she's now out of her sassy stage and only focused on making sure her little brother stays alive. She's always with Jeremy and trusts him enough that she's sure he'll protect her. She's also noticed William's worsening injuries, and is very concerned about it.

Braxton Mills (7)- the youngest of the children, he has slowly gotten used to what happened at Disney World (the reason why he's been so quiet), and is trying to talk a little bit more.

William Mills (37)- the father of the kids, and his Greenville injuries are finally taking it's toll. Although alive and walking, he is scared to admit that he's hurting tremendously, and he doesn't want to worry his kids more than they already are.

Bryan Ferguson (16)- Jeremy's reunited best friend. In love with Amelia, he convinced the people of the camp to fight against the Raiders. A really comical type guy, he'll do anything to protect his friends.

Amelia Davidson (15)- the person that helped Bryan heal and get used to the camp, she played softball at her old school in Louisiana. She misses it as much as her parents that abandoned her, but is now focused on staying alive alongside Bryan.

Evelyn Butler (14)- she was found and rescued from the camp's search and rescue team that involved Joshua and Bethany. Beaten up and brutally harrassed by Raiders, nobody really knows what happened to her family. However, she's in love with Jeremy and will do anything for him and her new family.

The Regulars- your average, everyday zombie. Pretty slow and easy to kill, if it's just one or two your facing. Hordes of them are your worst nightmare.

The Clickers- the effect of the fugus that grows on walls and creates spores. If you breathe in the spores, you turn into one of these blind, but powerful and strong zombies.

The Gouls- created from the new strain that mutated the fungus, these guys are weak individually, but they're extremely fast and powerful in packs.

The Raiders- the gangs that are taking over the United States. There ruthless people that will do absolutely anything to get what they want.
