Life story:
All half-demons are treated the same, constantly dealing with hatred and ridicule from both humans and demons alike. Due to constant harassment, most half-demons grow up to be spiteful, often seeking to hide from the world, and others, to destroy it.
Your mother was a bird demon, and your father, a human. Knowing that life would be harder living among demons than it would among humans, your father offered to raise you instead of your mother. You find it hard to believe that life among demon would have been any worse, though, considering how poorly you were treated by humans. As is the norm for half-demons, you grew up to resent humans, despite your father's best efforts to shield you from all contact with them. When your father passed of an illness, you refused to evade the humans any longer. Why should you hide as a result of their cruelty? Rumors began to spread that your father had been poisoned, and that's when you had had enough of it. Most half-demons go on murderous rampages once a month, when they turn full demon, but you did so when you were still a half-demon. You murdered the entire village.
Eventually your mother passed as well, the grief of her previous child's death having taken its toll on her. Before you were born, your mother had had another child, a full demon, who had died at the hands of the Great Dog Demon. Rumor had it that the Great Dog Demon had killed her in self-defense, but since her death indirectly led to the death of your mother, you considered it an act of murder, blaming the Great Dog Demon. As he was already dead by the time your mother passed, you vowed to kill his kin instead, just as he had yours. There was no longer anything precious to you in this world; there was nothing left but a cold, numb feeling in your heart.
But then that all changed.
You'd happened upon a shard of the Jewel of Four Souls, and it wasn't long after that you were being attacked ever so often by demon seeing the shards for their power. One day you were approached by a group a strangers.
"Hand over the shard of the jewel shard or there's going to be trouble," an dog demon threatened you.
"You know I possess a shard of the Jewel of Four Souls, and yet you have the nerve to threaten me?" you scoffed.
The dog demon drew his sword, which seemed to grow in size as he unsheathed it. "With my Tessaiga I can take you down."
"Tessaiga?" you echoed. "That sounds familiar. Is that not the sword which belonged to the Great Dog Demon? How did you come to possess it?"
"He was my father," said the dog demon, somewhat curious with your obvious interest in the sword.
Your eyes widened, and you pulled out your ha-uchiwa. You unfolded your wings and rocketed upward.
"I guess it's going to be the hard way, then," he said. "Wind Scar!" he yelled, sending a large gust of wind towards you. With a flick of your wrist, you dissipated the wind, smirking in amusement at the failed attempt.
"I wasn't aware the Great Dog Demon had any children," you admitted.
"Two," the dog demon replied, readying his sword. That's when a new presence appeared, causing the dog demon's guard to falter. Rather than attack, you waited, curious to see the presence that was unnerving he dog demon.
"Inuyasha," said a voice. You turned to see a man in a baboon suit step forward.
"Naraku," the dog demon hissed.
"Unfortunately, I'm not here to talk," said the man. He turned to look at you. "I'm here to take that jewel shard from you."
"I don't care about the jewel shard," you said. "I just want revenge. I just want to kill the Great Dog Demon's sons."
"But you don't know where the other one is," the man pointed out. "If you kill Inuyasha now, then you'll be unable to find his brother."
"What are you proposing, then?" you asked, landing back onto the ground.
"Give me the jewel shard," he said. "Come with me."
"Don't listen to him!" said Inuyasha. "Look, I don't know what my father did to you, but this guy's a coldblooded killer. He's slaughtered tons of innocent people."
"They don't exist!" you snapped. "No human is innocent, nor is any demon. Humans are worse. Any human that dies deserves their fate."
"How can you say that?" said a human woman in disgust.
"She's a half-demon," Inuyasha explained.
"Just like you," said a small fox demon.
"No," said another human woman, this one equipped with a bow and arrow, "she's not like Inuyasha."
"I thought I sensed human blood in you," you said. "The Great Dog Demon had a half-breed. How ironic."
"I know it's hard," said Inuyasha, "but not all humans are like that."
"You're diluted," you spat.
"I'm a half-demon, too," Inuyasha said. "If you can't trust humans, then at least trust me."
"You have the nerve talk to me like that?" you shouted. You turned to Naraku. "I accept."
Inuyasha charged at you with his sword, but you flew into the air before he could touch you. Several arrows flew your way, but you merely grabbed the shakujō you wore on your back and used it to block them, chuckling at the futile attempt.
"Follow my Saimyōshō," Naraku instructed you, "they will lead you to me."
"Damn it," Inuyasha cursed, "another puppet?"
Noticing the swarm of bugs that approached you, you nodded, and followed them away, several remaining behind to force Inuyasha to face the puppet alone.
You had joined Naraku to seek your revenge. That was your original intent, but now it's something more. You were drawn to him, and eventually found that you cared for him a great deal. He is full of hatred, and, as twisted as it might sound, that's what made you love him.
Abilities: stick fighting (shakujō); control of wind by use of ha-uchiwa; flying
What they think of you:
Inuyasha: I understand her how she feels, but if this is how she's going to be, then I'm not going to hold back when the time comes.
Kagome: She must have gone through a lot to have so much hatred. I almost feel bad for her.
Sango: Even if she had a hard past, it doesn't change the fact that she's working for Naraku... and has Kohaku.
Miroku: It's unfortunate that she has chosen to trust Naraku.
Shippō: She's kind of creepy.
Kikyō: To go to such lengths for revenge... is that truly the only thing which drives her?
Kaede: I have not met her.
Myōga: It is unfortunate what took place between the Great Dog Demon and her sister, but she left him little choice.
Kōga: Just another one of Naraku's lackeys to kill.
(Me: Because we all know how well you've been able to handle bird demon in the past...)
Kōga: -_-
Naraku: She's proven quite useful.
Byakuya: I know her. I don't see her very much, but I know her.
Kagura: Who in their right mind would willingly work for Naraku? But if she does somehow manage to defeat Inuyasha and Sesshōmaru...
(Me: Then you're done for.)
Kanna: Her soul is empty.
Hakudōshi: She's fun.
(Me: Translation – She and I both like to kill people.)
Akago (baby incarnation of Naraku): Perhaps I should tell Naraku about how she feels. On second thought, I wonder what she'd do to keep those feelings a secret...
Mōryōmaru: What about her?
Sesshōmaru: If she wishes to kill me, she's welcome to try, but I will not be defeated by a mere half-breed.
Jaken: She is clearly a fool if she thinks she can defeat Sesshōmaru-sama!
